Chapter 13
Flames ran ferociously back the dark castle, eager to tell his queen what their nemesis’ plan was. Thinking of the white wolf, he tore at the thorns and howled. Flames barked at the doors of thorns, and it they sharply swung open with an eerie creek. “Anything important?”, Queen Spina sneered.
Flames growled and barked, then ran to a small little table, with a large black stone. Spina raised her brow. Flames placed his paws on the rock, then backed away. The queen narrowed her eyes and retrieved it. The rock spewed fiery mist and formed into an image of the prophet and her guardian under the stars, laughing at what looked like a wolf made of stars. Her skin burned at the image. She snatched the fire, making the image fade into thin air. “It appears that they have a plan”, she snarled.
“But not to worry, because we have our own. She won’t stand one chance. Before she even blinks… everything will be gone” Queen Spina turned to her window, gazing out to a side where the skies were bright, and flowers were blooming. So many of them can be seen from afar, it made her feel sick and had an urge to rip out the flowers and bury them in thorns. A flash of a woman wearing a sparkling crown crossed her mind, then a child, then being cast away so young. The queen smashed the glass window and screamed, storming to the table and burned it with her flames. “We leave tomorrow! You’ll attack that weak wolf, the rest will surround them. I will not wait for them! After this war, those colorful weeds will be drowned out from sunlight, those little horrid creature will suffocate under my reign!”
Walking out of the room, fire burned from her veins, making them glow red and orange. She had balled up her anger for so long, she unleashed all the years of pain from her hands, shattering all the windows before storming outside. Standing in front of her dark fortress, she brewed up a storm, a storm so big that it stretched all the way to the other side of Uniclandia. The side that made her blood boil, the side that gave her knots in her stomach, the side that she hates with her passion… the side that took everything from her. Loud rumbles sounded, shaking the ground underneath her feet. Black, deadly light sparked in the sky, lighting the ground with a black shadow, leafless trees catching flames. “YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME!”
Black rain poured from the dark clouds, drenching the land in darkness, then charcoal hail pounded down. Queen Spina caught her breath, and her veins began glowing brighter than ever before, brighter than all the other times of being frustrated, angry, vengeful. All those times of fury couldn’t add up to that moment. “I will make sure you die, and everyone that sides with you”, she croaked.
