y/n pov

I opened my eyes and even though I hadn't slept as well as I had before with Yoongi, I did have a sort of decent sleep tonight. It did help that Taehyung and Zhora slept in this room. It was perhaps naive and stupid but I trusted them not to harm me.

I looked around and realised that both of them weren't in the room anymore. Did I wake up late or did they just wake up early?

I had to wait for Taehyung to undo me of this chain, which was pretty annoying.

      'Hello' I shouted after some time. Soon I heard the sound of someone that was walking up the stairs.

Taehyung entered my room and the first thing I noticed was how he had this bar of chocolate in his hands. He first unlocked the chain from the bed and put it again in my other hand.

I was silent the entire time. He then shyly looked down and I wasn't too sure what his plan was.

      'it seems your kind likes this weird food, so I took it from the supermarket for you'

I was doubting whether to tell him that chocolate as breakfast isn't entirely what we like that much but I did appreciate he gave it a try so I gratefully accepted it.

      'Thank you Taehyung'

Zhora and I walked next to each other in the back. I still kept a safe distance from Jungkook, the thing was that whenever I saw him he didn't look at me anymore with that blind hatred, he looked at me with guilt. as if he was eating himself up for what happened.

      'You and Jimin already made up?' I asked Zhora, hoping this device wouldnt awkwardly blast the question to her so that everyone could hear it.

luckily for me it didn't 

It was almost a rhetorical question because if this was a human relationship I was pretty sure they hadn't. I hadn't seen them interact at all since they reunited. but then again, they weren't humans and even though the more I learnt about them the more they seemed alike to humans, they were still from a different planet and maybe it worked differently.

She shook her head 'He is angry that I ran away and for leaving him behind. He has a reason to be angry but I was hoping he understood my side'

      'Which is?' I asked interested

Zhora shrugged

      'I didn't agree with what we are doing, I still don't. We indeed need a planet, and this is the only one that was suitable. It is horrible what the humans did to our scouts, and even when we arrived the first 30 days, in war, we saw some atrocities. but the sins of a few should not be accounted for by the majority. We can't tell ourselves it's okay to kill humans for something they had no part in.' 

I stared at her, it was basically what I shouted at the three boys when Jungkook almost strangled me to death.

There was a sudden moment in which this eerie feeling filled my entire body. How I could see a reflection of myself in Zhora, the most obvious similarities were that she was the only girl in a group walking around, her brother was here as well and his best friend is her boyfriend. It sounded awfully alike.

Suddenly I felt a few drops of rain on my skin

Great, I thought annoyed as I would before as well when it started raining randomly.

Wait, how did the others deal with rain? if they can't stand the water?

 I looked around and saw they also reacted to the rain.

       'Taehyung it's started to rain, get the buttons out'

My device translated it as if it was still on. Jungkook turned his head to look at me and I quickly turned off my device.

I focused on Taehyung as to what this instruction meant. He reached in his bag and took out a handful of what it seemed high tech buttons. He threw everyone one and they put it on.

I stared confused at all of them because I couldn't see any difference.

        'Let's continue' Taehyung shouted

So I guess I don't get one..

Taehyung pov

It was raining pretty badly today, it was the worst weather possible but luckily we had our shields so it became kind of okay. Jungwon was walking close to me

     'Taehyung, what will we do with the human?' he asked me.

      'Not sure yet. I think we can learn about the humans from her and that can benefit us'

       'fine, you're the leader. I trust your judgement' he admitted, but a little bit reluctantly.

I looked back at the group to see how they were doing. Everyone seemed okay except for y/n. She was shivering and her complexion was not happy so to say. Why did that change as opposed to this morning where she seemed fine? Could it be the weather?

She was a human on this planet so she was used to the rain, right? Yet I had the feeling she wasn't very comfortable, as if she disliked the rain. I walked to the back.

      'Are you okay?' I asked her 

     'The rain is cold' she answered frustrated. I didn't understand why she seemed angry.

      'but you are human? Rain is very common, are you not equipped for it?'

She rolled her eyes 'we use umbrellas or ponchos to protect ourselves. We don't get rash like Zhora had but we can become sick if it's cold and we don't dry up' she explained.

I had no idea about it to be honest. Seeing how often it rained here it seemed pretty shitty to live on a planet where the weather could make you sick like that.

I grabbed another one of the buttons and put it on her.

She stopped walking and her eyes widened

     'What kind of technology is this? I don't feel the rain'

She then looked down and turned rounds, as to check if she saw correctly.

I tried to suppress a chuckle because to be honest it was pretty cute, she seemed like a little child who discovered something new. 

y/n pov

We finally decided to stop in a big mansion. It hadn't stopped raining so even though we were protected I still didn't enjoy the weather too much. I had retreated back to my little room.

I thought about Yoongi for a moment. The weird thing was that up until this point I hadn't thought about escaping yet, maybe because so much was happening and the others interested me. but now that I had a moment of rest in which I actually had time to think about him, I understood how terribly I missed him.

But even if I was able to escape where could I find him? I had no idea where we were going or where Yoongi was.

Taehyung walked into the room and he handed me a can of coke. It was pretty funny and frustrating at the same time that the Others, who didn't seem to enjoy our food, had all the nice stuff. 

He was about to walk away again but before he left the room I spoke to him, finally giving him the answer on his very first question.

      'I helped your sister because she saved me from the water, and in doing so I realised that being an Other doesn't make you automatically bad'

He looked over his shoulders back at me

     'an other?'

     'That's what we call your kind'

Taehyung stared down

      'I guess we are more alike than we realised and we only know by meeting like this' he said but it was almost like a whisper

       'yes I guess we are' I answered loudly.

It seemed Taehyung wanted to leave but I still had so many questions and this seemed the time to ask at least one of them.

       'Why can't you stand the water or the rain?'
