DJ's POV

I slowly opened my eyes. I don't remember much, only that I walking, then I got lost. Now I'm here... in this chair. Tied to the chair. There was a metal door in front of me. If I could get untied, maybe I can leave. Yet, the door opened.

"Hello Daisy-Justice," X3no smirked. I glared at him.

"What the hell do you want!" I snapped.

"Hey, hey, hey, I just want to make a deal," He smirked.

"What deal?" I asked.

"A deal that you will tell me all about your friends, and you will live. If not, you die!" He laughed. Insanely.

"No! I won't do it!" I snapped. He stopped laughing and looked right at me.

"So you're willing to face complete torture until you die, just to keep your friends safe?" X3no asked, he sounded pissed. Yet I didn't care.

"If it means keeping my friends out of harm and safe, then absolutely!" I said. This time, I was the one smirking. He glared at me. He mumbled something before leaving the room. Once he left, I broke down.

I knew immediately, as soon as I saw X3no, I had no chance of leaving alive. I had no chance of ever seeing my friends again. But that doesn't mean I won't protect them with my life.

Annabelle's POV

"Hey guys, have you seen DJ?" I asked my friends at lunch.

"No, why?" Ryan responded.

"She didn't return to our dorm last night, and wasn't there this morning," I sighed.

"She probably went to visit her brother or sister!" Dave smiled.

"She would've told us," Xeno sighed. He tensed immediately.

"Then where could she be?" Amy asked. Xeno looked right at me, fear swimming in his eyes.

"Alters," Antonia said in a whisper.

"Are you saying-"

"X3no took her..." Xeno muttered out.

"No... she's probably okay somewhere! Let's not jump to conclusions!" Haley giggled nervously.

"Haley, think about it. When has DJ gone anywhere without telling one of us?" Elian asked.

"Never,"

"She told us last that she was going for a walk, she hasn't been seen since last night!" I explained.

"We can file a missing persons report?" Ryan suggested.

"What are they going to do about X3no?!?" Xeno snapped. He was pissed, He and DJ are close, they were best friends. He lost David, and now he may lose DJ. I can't imagine what it feels like.

"Calm down," Amy whispered to Xeno. He sighed yet nodded.

"Should we go looking for her tonight?" I asked. Everyone shrugged.

"She'll appear eventually," Ryan said. I glared at him. He just continued to eat. Jerk!

"Ryan, I swear to gosh, I want to kill you sometimes!" Xeno snapped. He got up from the table and walked away. Amy followed after him.

DJ's POV

I hurt everywhere. X3no sent in one of his goons, and he beat me up badly. Multiple bones were broken, and I was bleeding badly on top of that. He left not too long ago.

I started singing quietly to myself. It's what I did to pass the time. I started to sing "Tangled in the Great Escape" by Pierce the Veil. Tears lined my eyes, I had to blink them away. I had to stay strong. That was the only way I would get out alive.

Xeno's POV

"I'm going to get her!" I declared that evening. Everyone looked at me.

"Babe, you can't go, you have classes, my classes are done for a week! I should go!" Amy argued. I looked into her eyes and I couldn't say no.

"But she's my best friend," I sighed.

"That's why you should stay here! If she comes back, you'll be here!" Annabelle joined in on Amy's side. I sighed in defeat and nodded.

"I'm leaving tonight!" Amy said as she started to explain the plan. I didn't want this to happen, I should have gone with her. Why didn't I go with her?
