Xeno's POV

We were all hanging out at DJ and Annabelle's dorm. Trying to figure out what the heck is going on.

"That can't be an Alter, right? We destroyed them!" Elian said.

"It was one," Dave sighed.

"You guys said they aren't all bad though, right?" Amy asked.

"Right, we aren't, but, that one was, and the ones we fought in the past, are!" Antonia explained.

"A few years of peace would be great!" DJ groaned.

"It's been a few years since the last incident," I reminded DJ. Who just groaned again. Yet, her eyes held more pain then she let on.

"What are we gonna do?" Annabelle asked with a sigh. No one was ready to fight again. No one.

"We fight! And we win! No more deaths! We can do this!" I smiled. Amy looked at me and smiled as well. I blushed.

"Should we train? What if it's a false alarm?" Ryan asked. Haley nodded as well.

"We should get in shape! Just to be prepared!" Elian said. Him and Annabelle were swimmers, so they kinda already were.

"Sure, I'm game! I've got softball soon anyway," DJ shrugged.

"Then, tomorrow morning, at 8, we will begin to train!" Annabelle smiled at us, we smiled back.

The rest of the day went by slowly, classes were boring as usual. None of wanted to speak of what happened. We wanted to have a few moments before our lives got flipped upside down again.

We met up at Annabelle and DJ's dorm again that night. I sat next to DJ and started to poke her, she poked back. Eventually we were in a complete poking war.

"Guys," Amy sighed, trying to get our attention.

"Yes?" DJ responded, trying to catch her breath from laughing.

"Can you take anything seriously?" Amy asked, she sounded kinda annoyed. Yet, she directed it towards DJ.

"Well, I'm sorry I'm trying to have fun before our lives become hell again!" DJ snapped. Amy shut up.

"DJ?" Annabelle asked.

"I'm going for a walk," She sighed, grabbing her jacket, phone, and earbuds.

"Want me to come?" I asked as I got up. She shook her head.

"No, stay here and calm her down," She gestured towards Amy.

"I'll be back later," DJ smiled at everyone else before putting her earbuds in and walking out of the dorm. I turned back around towards everyone, who were now glaring at Amy.

DJ's POV

I had to get out of there. I don't know why, but something about Amy felt off. I know it wasn't her Alter, she died in the first fight. I also looked in her eyes.... they were normal.

I was trying to think if I could have done anything to make her mad at me. I hadn't done anything out of usual.

I sighed. I started humming along to the song I was listening to, One of THOSE Nights by The Cab. I was walking around campus, singing. The stress seemed to melt off my shoulders.

"Amy is probably just stressed," I thought with a sigh. Tomorrow everything will be normal. We will all be ok. I continued on walking. Feeling more relaxed with every step. I looked up, and I realized I was lost.

I was under a street light. Yet, the campus was no where in sight. I gulped and checked my phone. Of course I had no signal. I saw a shadow ahead of me. I turned and started walking in the other direction. My pace gradually getting faster. Yet, something jumped out in front of me. I felt a hand cover my mouth as I screamed. Then the world went black as a sweet smell hit my nose.

A/N: Happy Others Day!!! XD so, here is how today will work... I'm going to be posting at three different times today, one this morning, again this afternoon, and the grand finale this evening!
