I know the last few chapters were crappy, but I'll try to do my best to improve the quality. Thankyou for bearing with me.

When the men in the stable noticed me entering with Francesca, they immediately bowed and started whispering among them, something about the human queen.

" Get some gears for her and the black horse, she's going horse riding with me" Francesca ordered

The men looked confused but then immediately scrambled, and bought some gloves, robe and a pair of boots for me, which I gratefully received and wore them. A man pulled a horse behind him and parked it right beside me. I felt so timid beside it. It was a black beauty with sparkling eyes.

" I'm not really sure about it" I tried to voice my opinion but Francesca immediately shushed me and then the man helped me on the horse.

" Just follow me, you'll be fine, I can always control it with magic, remembe?" She gavee me an assuring look and climbed her horse.

I followed her outside the stable, the horse was walking calmly right now, following the horse infront of him.
After a while, the path started covering with a thick layer of ice, I tried to handle the horse.

" The ice is thick here, I'm going that way" Francesca shouted

I barely heard her and then she vanished on a mysterious path.

" Hey wait for me"   I shouted back, and then I urged the horse to go faster. The horse loudly neighed, and started running at an unexpected speed, it was impossible for me to control it, where is Francesca?

I held onto the horse as tight as I can, but at some point, my gloves slipped of and fell on the ground, hitting my head on a rock, I'm not sure and everything blacked.

" What the hell were you thinking??" I heard someone shouting

" I just wanted to take her horse riding" came a girl's reply

" Don't play with me, I know you, you purposely choose the black horse, you know it easily goes out of control and still you choose it" the shouting continued

What is going on?, I sat up on the bed and held my head, it's like it was spinning and let out a painful whimper. The shouting immediately stopped and then I heard some footsteps.

" Are you alright Naira?" He asked me

" My head is spinning and paining a lot" I said

Kartik handed me a glass of water and then helped me sit comfortably on the bed.

" I'm sorry it's my mistake, I should've warned you" he said with guilt

" What no...I don't know how ride a horse and I still did" I tried to laugh it away, second hand embarrassment.

" No you don't know, what actually goes behind these castle walls" he said with seriousness in his voice
