Mysterious Portal

It was near past midnight, the darkness washed over the room and Xisuma laid peacefully on his bed, sleeping comfortably.

Suddenly, a ringing came from his nightstand which woke him out. He blindly grabbed onto the phone and answered it, confused about who could possibly call him in this time.

"Uhh, hey man," Jevin's voice came out from the phone, "I know it's probably, like, really late for you but uhh... I think you need to check this out." Xisuma raised his eyebrow at the blob man. "What do you mean?" He asked confusedly, curious about what Jevin was talking about.

"There's a new island near the End and it has a weird portal, trees, flowers and grass."

Xisuma took off his sleeping mask with a stunned facial expression, "What." "Oh, well you see, there is an island–" "No, I just–" He let out a sigh, "Stay there and describe to me about the island, okay?"

"Oh. Uhh– okay." Xisuma got up from his bed and opened up his closet to change. "So uhh, the grass is red first of all." Xisuma took out a simple grey hoodie and dark green sweatpants with a boxer. "A purple tree with white leaves." He turned on the shower, still wearing his sleeping wear. "A few white brushes with some dark purple berries." He dried up with some towel and put on the outfit. "White roses facing on the ground." He opened up his wrist watch and opened up the Hermitcraft server. "There's also a portal made out of obsidian, kinda like the Nether portal but red."

"I'm joining now," Xisuma interrupted Jevin. He felt himself became light and watched as the world around him digested into his Hermitcraft base.

Xisuma ran into the portal and flew to the portal that lead to the End portal. He ran out the Nether and jumped into the End portal. His body digested into coding lines before he ended up in the End.

"Oh! I see you, man. Turn to your right!"

Xisuma turned towards his right side and spotted the blue slime man on the island he described. He flew over there and landed onto the island. He ignored Jevin and walked towards the portal and begun to scan the area.

"So, what does it says?" Jevin asked once Xisuma was done with the scanning. "It's supposed to be here, according to the scans," Xisuma spoke with narrowed eyes while staring at the scans. He opened up the group chat between the hermits and himself and typed out a message to the hermits about meeting up at there. He sent the coordinates and told them which dimension to go to.

He then processed to turn off the screen and ignored the beeping from his watch. Jevin raised his brow at Xisuma, Xisuma made eye contact with him.

"If I suffer, everyone else suffer with me."

(So tempting to end it right here)

"Okay, man," Jevin shrugged and gave him a smile.

Shortly after a while, all the hermits showed up. Some in various state of tired, 'I-just-woke-up-why-Xisuma' or confusion. However, one look at the island woke them up fully while the confused ones were even more confused now.

"What the hell is going on, Xisuma?" Biffa asked the question no one else ask, mostly because they were too tired or too scared. "Well, to explain it simply," Xisuma glanced at the portal.

"There's a new dimension."

"How come we didn't notice it?" Scar asked, frowning at the odd portal. "Beats me," Grian got out between yawns, rubbing his eye in attempt to keep himself awake, "All I know is that there's a new dimension."

"Should we go in?" Cub asked, observing the portal closely. "No, definitely not at all," Xisuma said, shaking his head at the hermit. "Half of us will probably die due to being just awoken." Xisuma turned towards the hermits, "However, we will enter the portal eventually."

"Isn't that like..." Jevin started, glancing at the portal, "kinda unsafe?" Xisuma shrugged, "Probably, but with a good team we'll make it out."

Xisuma glanced back at the hermits.

"Now go get some rest. I'll send the teams in the group chat later."
