Chapter 34: Shock Opponent

Blue: If you really want to help, then I won’t stop you. But you’d better not try anything.

Ada: Didn’t I save your life once? You owe me a little trust, don’t you?

Blue: Yes, which is why I’m allowing you to help.

Ada: Aww, so cute of you~. Don’t worry, Blue. I’ll be on my best behavior~

Blue: Let’s hope so, I do not have time for games unless it's Dokkan Battle

With Ada now joining his side, the two exchanged a brief, silent understanding. Blue led the way toward the stairwell leading up to the fourth floor.

His mind already shifting back to the task at hand. He didn’t have time to worry about Ada’s true motives. Whatever her reasons for being here, she was an asset, for now.

Blue: Well...one more floor to go

Ada followed him up the stairs, her steps light and almost soundless.

Ada: Lead the way, hero.

Blue: I prefer...baller

Ada: [Rolls Eyes Playfully] Whatever

As they ascended, the air grew colder, and Blue’s thoughts turned to Ethan. He had to be close.

This outpost was just one piece of the puzzle, and whatever awaited them on the fourth floor was bound to bring them closer to uncovering the full scope of the Mold’s plans.

But now, with Ada in the mix, the stakes felt even higher. Blue couldn’t shake the feeling that, with her involved, the mission had just gotten a lot more complicated.

Blue and Ada moved swiftly through the fourth floor, the silence between them filled only by the muffled sounds of the wind howling through the cracks in the old, frost-covered building.

The air was colder here, biting through their clothes as they worked side by side to clear the remaining areas of the outpost.

Controlled BSAA agents appeared here and there, but Blue and Ada took them down with precision, using non-lethal methods as Blue had instructed.

They were moving efficiently, their movements synchronized in a way that suggested they’d done this before, different missions, different enemies, but always the same objective.

Clear the area, complete the mission.

Blue shot a quick glance at Ada as they reached the end of another corridor. She was calm, composed, and dangerously efficient with her pistol, picking off targets with ease.

He still didn’t fully trust her, but for now, her help was invaluable.

Blue: Okay, I think that's it, I'm going to meet with the others, but what are you going to do-?

Before he could finish, a loud crash echoed through the corridor, followed by the heavy sound of footsteps. Blue and Ada froze, their senses heightened as they turned toward the noise.

A door at the end of the hall burst open, and from the shadows stepped three figures. Jill Valentine, Cassandra Dimitrescu, and Claire Redfield.

Their eyes were blank, lifeless, completely devoid of any recognition. Their movements were slow, deliberate, as if every step was controlled by an unseen force....the Flower Mold, no doubt.

There was no spark of humanity in their expressions, only mindless obedience.

Blue: Oh Noes

Blue's eyes narrowed as he scanned their faces, hoping for any sign of resistance, but there was none. Ada’s eyes flicked toward him, but she was already positioning herself, ready for a fight.

Ada: So they really are taken over, what's the plan, little boy?

Blue: Well obviously we don’t kill them. They’re still in there, so we free them.

Ada smirked, raising her pistol but aiming low, careful not to go for any lethal shots.

Ada: I know the drill, hero. Don’t worry, I’ve dealt with worse.

Without another word, the three women lunged forward, their movements unnaturally fast and aggressive. Blue immediately stood his ground against Jill and Cassandra, while Ada broke off to confront Claire.

Jill moved with deadly precision, her combat training evident even in her mindless state. She threw a series of rapid punches, forcing Blue to dodge and block.

Each strike was powerful, driven by years of experience and the unnatural strength of the Mold. Blue barely had time to recover before Cassandra came at him from the side with her sickle.

Blue ducked under Cassandra’s slash and rolled to the side, firing a quick shot from his Desert Eagle to slow her down.

He aimed for her legs, knowing she wouldn’t feel the pain but hoping to restrict her movements. Jill followed up with a high kick, which Blue blocked, but the force of the blow sent him staggering back.

Blue: They’re faster than ever...

Blue's mind began to race as he dodged another series of attacks from Jill, his thoughts torn between the need to defend himself and the desire to save them.

He could see flashes of the women they used to be in their movements, but the control of the Mold was absolute.

On the other side of the room, Ada was facing off against Claire, who was just as relentless. Claire swung wildly with a combat knife, her attacks sharp and unyielding.

Ada dodged gracefully, her eyes never leaving Claire’s, even though they were clouded with the same lifeless gaze.

Ada: A shame. I always liked you, Claire.

Claire didn’t respond, she couldn’t respond, and instead, she presses forward, her movements more mechanical than human.

Ada, always quick on her feet, maneuvered around Claire with slick motions, using her agility to stay one step ahead. She fired off a shot aimed at Claire’s shoulder, slowing her down just enough to create distance.

Back in Blue’s fight, Jill and Cassandra came at him again, forcing him into a defensive position. Jill’s relentless strikes were met with Blue’s blocks, but Cassandra’s unpredictable slashes kept him on edge.

Blue grit his teeth, focusing on the task at hand. He had to end this without hurting them too much.

Blue: I don’t want to hurt you! So please make this easy for me!

Blue ducks under another kick from Jill. His mind raced, trying to figure out how to stop them without causing permanent damage.

He needed a way to disrupt the Mold’s control over them. But the Flower Mold had already taken deep root in their minds, and it wasn’t going to be easy.

Jill lunged at him again, but this time, Blue met her with a quick burst of electricity from his hand, just enough to stun her without causing serious harm.

She staggered back, the shock coursing through her body and momentarily disrupting her movements. Blue used the brief opening to fire a non lethal round at Cassandra, hitting her leg and forcing her to fall back.

Blue: That was by accident, but....I think that...might be the answer. I've just got to use a bit more of a shock...not too lethal.

Ada, meanwhile, was holding her own against Claire. She’d managed to disarm Claire’s knife and was now dodging her unarmed attacks with ease, occasionally landing a non-lethal shot to keep Claire at bay.

Ada: Hey Blue! You better have a plan!

Blue stood there, looking at the three women who had been overtaken by the Flower Mold. He clenched his fists, feeling the electrical current subtly pulsing through his veins. He was scared, but his body forced him to react.

Jill and Cassandra were ready to attack again, their bodies tense. Blue summons a small charge of electricity, just enough to jolt them, not to harm, but to disrupt the Flower Mold's influence.

Blue: Let’s see if this works....

His hand begins to glow faintly with blue electricity. Blue stepped forward and placed his hand on Jill’s shoulder, sending a controlled spark into her.

She convulsed slightly, her eyes flickering as the Mold’s grip weakened. Cassandra lunged toward him, but with a swift motion, Blue grabbed her wrist and sent the same spark through her.

Both women stopped moving, their expressions softening as the control over their minds dissipated. Ada, watching from the side, raised an eyebrow. She had no idea Blue could do this, and it caught her off guard.

Ada: You didn't mention you could shoot lightning bolts

Blue ignored her for the moment and turned his attention to Claire, who was still under the Mold's control. Claire rushed at Ada, who dodged with ease.

Ada: Now would be a good time to do that thing!

Ada ducks to avoid a punch from Claire, Blue sends another small spark of electricity toward Claire, hitting her squarely in the back.

The current spread through her body, and Claire stumbled forward, her eyes losing the glazed, controlled look as she regained her senses.

She blinked, disoriented, and fell to her knees, breathing heavily. Jill, Cassandra, and Claire all looked confused, clearly unsure of what had just happened.

Jill was the first to speak, rubbing her temples as if shaking off a bad headache.

Jill: What....What just happened?

Blue: In summary, the Flower I picked was an Opp, it possessed almost everyone, took you all to Alaska to the BSAA outposts there.....aaaaand, I used my zappy zaps to free you!

Cassandra: W.....What?

Claire: Oh...I-I think I know what you mean. Smart thinking.

Jill: Yes, well done Blue, using electricity to break the connection...that’s something Chris or Leon would’ve come up with.

Blue: Them two? Nah, Chris would've punched a boulder, and Leon....well he is Leon, he can't think unless it comes to his one liners.

The two girls laugh, while Ada rolls her eyes in amusement. Cassandra, still catching her breath, crossed her arms and looked away, a faint blush creeping onto her cheeks.

Cassandra: Not that I needed your help or anything. But...I guess I owe you one...again

Blue: I only accept Ice Cream and Milkshakes, nothing else

Cassandra: Deal

Ada, however, was still trying to wrap her head around what she had just witnessed. She looked at Blue with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.

Ada: So....since when can you shoot electricity from your hands, Blue? You’ve been holding out on me?

Blue: Remember CORE? And why they were interested in me? Yeah, I’m...an experiment. They were the ones to create me and give me these abilities. It’s a long story, but let’s just say I’m not exactly normal.

Ada’s eyes narrowed slightly, but her expression softened after a moment.

Ada: Well, that explains a lot. As long as you’re not planning to zap me next, we’re good....although I do see opportunities with that~

Blue: I am highly concerned

Jill and Claire, now more aware of their surroundings, both noticed Ada for the first time since regaining their senses. Jill’s brow furrowed.

Jill: Wait, Ada? What the hell are you doing here? Last time we saw you, you weren’t exactly on our side.

Blue: Oh! Right! She’s here to help, now I know it’s strange, but she saved me once, and right now, we need all the help we can get.....that sounds kind of cringe, I should commit Seppeku

Claire: P-Please don't do that

Blue: No promises

Claire:....Okay, moving on...are we really going to trust Ada now?

Ada rolled her eyes but didn’t seem offended.

Ada: Relax, Redfield. I’m not here to stab anyone in the back, besides, I think you’re smart enough to know when you need me when most of your team aren't with you at the moment.

Claire:....Fine, If Blue's says you're helping, I’ll go with it. But we’ll be keeping an eye on you.

Jill: Same here

Blue exhaled, relieved that the tension was easing.

Blue: Now that everyone’s back to normal, we need to move. This is just the first outpost, and we’ve still got two more to go.

Ada: Lead the way, Sparky. You seem to have all the answers.

Blue: Except for 4 + 8......

Everyone:

Before the group can move on, the cold, sterile air of the fourth floor grew heavier as Heisenberg, Eveline, Daniela, and Ashley arrived, Miranda still in shackles behind them.

The reunion was swift and emotional, Daniela practically leaped into Cassandra's arms, while Ashley threw her arms around Claire and Jill.

Despite everything, there was a sense of relief in seeing familiar faces again, alive and well.

Daniela: You’re okay!

Her voice was muffled as she buried her face in her Sister’s shoulder. Cassandra, always trying to keep her cool, patted Daniela’s back, though there was a rare tenderness in her expression.

Ashley stepped back after hugging Claire and Jill, smiling despite the tension.

Ashley: We were so worried about you guys!

Jill, Claire, and Cassandra shared in the warmth of the reunion for a brief moment, but then their eyes shifted behind Ashley, landing on Miranda. The air in the room instantly thickened, their bodies tensing with alarm.

Jill: Wait...why is she here?

Claire: Yeah, she's meant to be locked up!

Blue stepped in between them, raising his hands to calm everyone down.

Blue: Look, I know it seems bad, but we need Miranda. She knows more about the Mold and what we’re dealing with than any of us. Trust me, she’s not here by choice

Blue gestures to the shackles still on her wrists. Heisenberg folds his arms, raising an eyebrow.

Heisenberg: Yeah, she’s not exactly free, if that makes you feel any better.

Miranda kept her head down, her eyes glancing from face to face, but she remained silent. She was used to the hostility. Jill’s expression didn’t soften, but she didn’t press further. She had bigger concerns, and the same went for Claire.

Jill: Fine, but if she tries anything...

Blue: She won’t, we’ve got bigger problems right now.

Just as Blue finished speaking, a strange sound echoed through the building, a slow, deliberate set of footsteps that made the floor vibrate slightly.

The tension that had momentarily eased returned with a vengeance as everyone looked toward the source of the sound. Jill’s entire body went rigid.

Claire’s breath caught in her throat, and Ada’s confident smirk vanished as her eyes narrowed. Even Ashley seemed to tense, her gaze hardening with recognition.

From the shadows, a figure emerged....tall, broad-shouldered, dressed in a long black coat, his blonde hair slicked back. His presence was commanding, almost suffocating.

Blue’s eyes narrowed in confusion, he didn’t know this man, but the reactions from Jill, Claire, and Ada told him all he needed to know.

Jill: W....Wesker?

Albert Wesker stepped fully into the light, his cold, calculating eyes scanning the group before landing on Jill. A cruel smile curled on his lips.

Wesker: Jill, Claire and Ada. How nice to see you all again. You look surprised, didn't know you missed me

Jill: You were supposed to be dead! Chris killed you!

Wesker: Chris thought he did, but it seems fate had other plans for me. Or rather...the Flower Mold had other plans.

Heisenberg, Eveline, and Miranda watched closely, already aware of Wesker's reputation. Blue, however, was still piecing things together. He looked at Jill, confused.

Blue: So who is this Super Saiyan Vergil guy?

Jill: Albert Wesker, a former....friend and mentor...and the reason behind a lot of our nightmares. He was supposed to be dead, Chris saw to that back in 2009

Wesker: Hahahaha....oh Jill, I’m flattered that you remember me so well. But as you can see, I’m not as easy to kill as Chris might’ve hoped.

His eyes glinted with amusement as he looked at Blue, assessing him.

Wesker: And you must be the younger Winters Brother. Interesting...I didn’t expect to see another one of you.

Blue: You've...met my Brother?

Wesker: Not exactly, I've met his body since the Flower Mold is using his body as the main vessel

Blue clenched his fists, the electricity inside him beginning to stir, but he remained focused.

Blue: So you’re back because of the Mold?

Wesker: Precisely. The Flower Mold’s influence has brought me back to life, stronger, faster, and more powerful than before. And I have it to thank for that

Claire: So the Flower Mold brought you back for a reason. What is it planning?

Wesker’s gaze flicked to Eveline, and for a moment, his smile faltered. He recognised her since she was a creation of Mold before.

Wesker: You’re a clever one. The Mold didn’t bring me back just to be a mindless pawn. It’s using me for something much larger, something that involves all of you.

Cassandra and Daniela were still confused by Wesker’s presence, but they could sense the threat he posed. Cassandra stepped up next to Blue, her sickle at the ready.

Cassandra: This guy is dangerous, isn’t he?

Blue: Very, I can feel it.

Jill: What’s the Flower planning, Wesker?

Wesker: All in due time, Jill. You’ll see soon enough. But first...

Wesker flexs his fingers, the sound of bones cracking filling the silence.

Wesker: I’ve been given a second chance, and I’m going to make the most of it.

Heisenberg: He talks too much

Blue could feel the tension in the air, the imminent battle on the horizon. He could tell that Wesker wasn’t going to go down easily, especially now that he had the Flower Mold’s power coursing through him.

Blue: So you want to run the ones? Alright, let's throw down Discount Vergil!

Wesker: Let’s see how strong the Winters family really is.

The fight was on, as Wesker launches forward, he was quicker than Blue had expected. Wesker’s fist slammed into Blue with such force that it sent him flying across the room, his back smashing against the cold, metal wall with a deafening clang.

Blue crumpled to the ground, gasping as the breath was knocked from his lungs, pain radiating through his body.

Blue: W-Why did that hurt more than it should?

Ashley: Blue!

Ashley's eyes were wide with fear as she rushed toward him. Eveline followed close behind, her expression hard but concerned as she helped Ashley lift Blue back to his feet.

Eveline: Get up, idiot...

Eveline mutters, though there was a clear trace of worry in her voice. Blue groaned, shaking his head to clear the dizziness. He could hear the sounds of the fight intensifying behind him.

Jill, Claire, and Heisenberg were already on the attack. Jill moved first, dashing in with quick, precise strikes, but Wesker dodged them all effortlessly, his superhuman speed making him almost untouchable.

Claire followed up, pulling her knife free and aiming for his blind spots, but Wesker saw through her every move.

Heisenberg, meanwhile, raised his arm and sent a wave of metal shards flying toward Wesker, manipulating the steel in the walls to trap him.

But Wesker sidestepped, moving faster than their eyes could follow, effortlessly avoiding Heisenberg’s attack.

With a combination move, Wesker knocked Jill and Claire back, sending them sprawling across the floor.

Heisenberg grunted and charged forward, but Wesker met him head-on, their fists clashing. For a moment, it seemed like Heisenberg might overpower him.

But Wesker twisted at the last second, delivering a brutal kick to Heisenberg’s side that sent him crashing into the ground.

Ashley winced as she watched Heisenberg hit the floor, but she focused on Blue.

Ashley: Are you okay now?

Blue: Yeah....I’m fine, just give me a moment

Blue glanced up just in time to see Wesker standing tall, completely unharmed, while Jill and Claire struggled to get back to their feet.

From the sidelines, Ada, Daniela, Cassandra, and even Miranda watched with grim expressions.

The sisters exchanged glances, unsure of whether to get involved, but Ada, who had remained passive until now, let out a resigned sigh.

Ada: This is such a bad idea...

Nevertheless, Ada sprang into action. Her grappling hook shot out, latching onto a beam on the ceiling. She swung forward, aiming to strike Wesker with a flying kick, but the man saw her coming.

He caught her by the ankle mid-air, spinning and hurling her toward the ground with a savage force. Ada landed hard, gritting her teeth as she rolled out of the way just before Wesker could stomp down on her.

Ada: Dammit, you were already annoying back then, why did you have to come back?

Wesker: It's all for a good cause, Ada

Before Wesker could press the attack, Daniela and Cassandra rushed in, their speed rivaling Wesker’s. Cassandra’s sickles gleamed as she slashed at Wesker, while Daniela circled around, trying to catch him off-guard.

But Wesker was too fast, he caught Cassandra’s wrist in mid-swing and twisted it painfully, forcing her to drop her weapon.

Daniela’s sickle slashed through the air as Wesker dodged, retaliating with a punch that sent her flying back toward the wall.

Wesker: You're all just children playing at war

Even Miranda, who had been watching silently, flinched at how effortlessly Wesker dispatched the Dimitrescu sisters. Seeing his strength firsthand reminded her of the overwhelming power they were up against.

Ada, hurt but determined, tried once more, this time with her knife drawn, but Wesker was faster. He swatted her aside like an insect, sending her crashing into the nearby wall.

Blue could see it, all of them falling one by one. Even Heisenberg was staggering to his feet, blood dripping from a cut on his forehead. Jill, Claire, Daniela, Cassandra...they were all down.

That left only Blue. Eveline tightened her grip on Blue's arm.

Eveline: Don’t do anything stupid

Blue: Relax, I’ve got this, I just got to lock in

Heisenberg: Tch...You bastard.

Wesker: You’re all outmatched.

Blue finally stepped forward, shaking off Eveline and Ashley's hands. His trench coat shifted slightly as he rolled his shoulders.

He had watched and studied Wesker’s movements, the man was powerful, faster than anyone he’d faced before....but there was something else.

Wesker’s arrogance, his superiority complex, left him exposed in ways he didn’t even realise.

Blue: Alright big man, that’s enough

Wesker: And what will you do, boy?

Blue doesn't say anything and jumps in battle. Blue and Wesker collided like forces of nature, their fists flying with such speed and precision that it was hard for the others to follow.

Blue was fighting on pure instinct now, adrenaline coursing through his veins as he traded blows with Wesker.

He could feel the raw power behind each of Wesker’s strikes, but Blue’s own enhanced strength allowed him to keep pace.

Every punch that Blue threw, Wesker countered with inhuman speed, his smirk never leaving his face.

Jill, still catching her breath from the earlier fight, sat up from where she had been knocked down. She wiped the blood from her lip, her eyes narrowing as she watched the clash between Blue and Wesker.

Jill: This might actually be interesting

Claire nodded, still dazed but equally captivated by the fight unfolding before them.

Claire: Blue’s strong, but Wesker...he’s on another level...always

Jill agreed but said nothing. She knew Blue had something special, something that made him unique. The real question was whether Blue would tap into it or if his hesitation would hold him back.

The fight raged on. Blue dodged a lightning-fast jab from Wesker and retaliated with a heavy right hook, slamming his fist into Wesker’s face with enough force to crack the air.

Wesker grunted as the impact knocked him back a few feet, but he quickly recovered, glaring at Blue with eyes full of fury.

Wesker: Not bad, but not good enough.

Before Blue could react, Wesker closed the distance between them in a blur, his hand gripping Blue by the arm. With a brutal display of strength, Wesker lifted Blue off his feet and slammed him into the ground with a devastating suplex.

The force of the impact was so intense that the floor beneath them buckled, and Blue crashed through the third floor, falling with a heavy thud into the room below.

Dust and debris filled the air as Blue groaned, struggling to push himself up. His body screamed in protest, but he refused to give up.

As he looked up, he saw Wesker leap down through the hole, landing effortlessly on his feet. Wesker’s eyes gleamed with superiority, as if he was savoring every second of their fight.

From above, Jill and Claire leaned over the edge, their expressions tense as they watched the fight unfold.

Claire: Come on, Blue. You can do this.....

Blue scrambled to his feet just in time to block another punch from Wesker, their forearms colliding with a sharp crack. The force sent Blue sliding back, his boots grinding against the floor.

He knew he couldn’t keep this up forever, Wesker was too fast, too relentless, and though Blue was strong, he hadn’t fully embraced the powers within him.

Wesker: You’re holding back, boy. Why? Are you afraid of what you’re capable of?

Blue didn’t answer, his jaw tightening as he lunged forward again, this time aiming for a body shot. His fist connected with Wesker’s ribcage, but the blow didn’t seem to faze him much.

Wesker responded with a vicious elbow strike to Blue’s face, sending him stumbling back.

Wesker: You can’t win with half measures. Your strength isn’t enough, you’ll never match me if you keep running from what you really are.

Blue wiped the blood from his mouth, his mind racing. He knew Wesker was right. Even though he had enhanced strength and speed, Wesker was more experienced in using his power to its full potential.

Blue had always been afraid of letting his abilities take over completely, fearing he might lose control. But now, facing Wesker...someone who embodied the very thing Blue feared, he realised that holding back wouldn’t save him.

If he wanted to stand a chance, he had to embrace the power within him, fully. Still, Blue hesitated...he wasn’t sure he could trust himself.

Wesker: What's the matter? Afraid you’ll become like me?

Blue’s eyes flashed with anger, but it was Eveline’s voice that snapped him out of his thoughts.

Eveline: Blue, stop holding back! If you don’t use everything you have, you’re going to lose!

He looked up at her, then at Jill and Claire. They had trusted him to lead this mission, they were counting on him. Blue took a deep breath, squaring his shoulders.

He could feel the electricity pulsing within him, begging to be unleashed. But he still wasn’t sure...instead of releasing the full power, he made a decision to continue fighting without fully giving in.

Maybe he could win by relying on his enhanced physical abilities alone, he just had to work smarter, not harder. He charged at Wesker again, his speed nearly matching the superhuman.

The two exchanged a flurry of punches and kicks, each strike echoing through the ruined floor. Blue managed to land a strong uppercut, sending Wesker stumbling backward.

For a brief moment, it seemed like he was gaining the upper hand, but Wesker quickly recovered, his eyes blazing with cold fury. Wesker grabbed Blue by the throat, lifting him effortlessly off the ground.

Wesker: Pathetic, you’re wasting your potential.

With a burst of strength, Blue broke Wesker’s grip, landing a kick to his stomach. Both fighters were panting now, but Wesker’s confidence remained unshaken.

Blue, on the other hand, felt the weight of his own hesitation. He knew deep down that this fight would only end one way if he didn’t make a choice soon.

Blue stood there, his body battered and bruised from the relentless assault Wesker had unleashed on him. His vision blurred, and every breath felt like fire in his lungs.

Wesker was ruthless, and even with his enhanced durability, Blue could tell that Wesker hit much harder than Ezekiel ever had.

Every punch, every kick, every shot from Wesker's gun felt like a sledgehammer driving into his bones.

Blue tried to keep up, using his agility and strength to counter, but every mistake he made, every momentary lapse in concentration, Wesker capitalised on.

Wesker smirked as he fired a shot at Blue, hitting him square in the shoulder. The force of the bullet sent Blue stumbling back, allowing Wesker to close the distance and deliver a savage punch to his gut.

Blue gasped, the wind knocked out of him as he doubled over in pain. Wesker grabbed him by the hair and lifted him up, his cold, calculating eyes gleaming with sadistic pleasure.

Wesker: You’re resilient, I’ll give you that. But resilience without power means nothing.

Blue: Y-You really are like Vergil

Before Wesker could land another devastating blow, the room around them suddenly vibrated with the sound of clattering metal.

Heisenberg, eyes narrowed in concentration, manipulated the metal surrounding them, pulling it toward Wesker in a swirling vortex.

In a matter of seconds, Wesker was engulfed in a spherical cocoon of steel and iron, completely immobilised.

Wesker: What the?!

Heisenberg let out a grunt of effort as he flung the trapped Wesker out of the base with tremendous force, sending him flying far into the distance.

The loud crash that followed echoed through the air as Wesker disappeared from view. Blue collapsed to one knee, panting heavily. Heisenberg rushed over and grabbed his arm, pulling him up to his feet.

Heisenberg: You good? You took a beating, kid.

Blue coughed and winced in pain, but he managed a weak smile.

Blue: Y-Yeah, the British in me...enhances my durability

As always, Blue would crack a joke despite his exhaustion and pain. Heisenberg rolled his eyes, though there was a smirk appearing at the corner of his lips.

Heisenberg: Of course you’re going to say that.

As Blue steadied himself, the others slowly arrived on the scene, their concern evident in their faces. But before anyone could speak, Daniela rushed over to Blue, her eyes wide with a mixture of relief and frustration.

Without a word, she grabbed his face and kissed him deeply, leaving the room in stunned silence.

Blue blinked in surprise, his mind still reeling from the kiss as Daniela pulled back, glaring at him with fierce determination.

Daniela: D-Don’t do that again!

Blue O...kay? ._.

The awkward silence that followed was palpable. Blue wasn’t flustered, but some of the others certainly were. Jill raised an eyebrow, and Claire exchanged a look with Ashley, who couldn’t hide her surprise.

Heisenberg chuckled under his breath, clearly amused by the turn of events, while Ada crossed her arms, a smirk playing on her lips as she took in the situation.

Ada, always the keen observer, was the first to break the silence.

Ada: So....seems like our dense boy is on the fast track to having three girlfriends. Never thought anyone would achieve this, let alone him.

Blue: Wait, how do you know that-?

Ada: Ashley

Ashley flushed, her face turning a deep shade of red as she nervously fidgeted.

Ashley: S-Sorry! It just...slipped out.

Blue: It’s...okay.

He wasn’t upset at all, he was just confused, probably because he feels tired. He glanced over at Daniela, who was standing proudly next to him, clearly unfazed by the reactions of the others.

Eveline crossed her arms and gave a sideways glance at Daniela.

Eveline: So....another one joins the harem.....

Daniela shot Eveline a playful glare.

Daniela: Jealous?

Eveline smirked but said nothing, she was the main girl after all. Watching this, Cassandra rolled her eyes, muttering something under her breath about Daniela always having to show off.

Ada, still amused, looked at Blue with a mix of curiosity and disbelief.

Ada: Honestly, Blue, I didn’t peg you as the type to end up with three girlfriends. You’ve always struck me as the oblivious type.

Blue: I still am, I....didn’t exactly plan for this.

Ada: Clearly

Before the conversation could continue, Jill spoke up, her tone more serious.

Jill: Look, I’m happy we’re all in one piece, but Wesker’s still out there. And from the looks of it, he’s not just going to stop. We need a plan.

The group’s attention shifted back to the pressing matter at hand. Blue straightened up, ignoring the pain in his body. He knew they couldn’t waste any more time.

Blue: Well, we continue to ball and deal with the outposts. We take them down, one by one. No need to rush. And if Wesker does show his face, I'll win.

With everyone now focused, Heisenberg glanced at Blue.

Heisenberg: You sure you're up for it?

Blue: Ye
