Chapter 29: Magic Cure

Okay so I messed up, I think the last Chapter was meant to be longer, which is why this one starts differently. (Not anymore)

So I looked back at my drafts and I missed some content, so I'll have to structure it to a stable condition and add it here for a slightly longer Chapter.

So enjoy, as there is no confusion after this!

Blue: Hey, remember when we first met?

Elena: Yes, you also saved me from my Father

Blue: I'm....sorry about him

Elena: It's okay, like I said, I moved on knowing that he is watching over me. I'm not sure if he would like you

Blue: Why would you say that?

Elena: He was angry most of the time

Blue: Ah, fair ._.

Elena: But I don't think he would hate you, especially since you saved my life and helped me escape.

Blue: Oh yeah, that would sway him

Elena: You know.....I didn't think I would come back to the village. I thought that would be the last time I see it

Blue: I can understand that, it was ravaged, Miranda and the Lords were there and then the place blew up

Elena: Yes, but now we're here because of you. Blue, when you came to me with this idea, you have no idea how happy I was to hear it.

Blue: I had a feeling you would, I'm glad you are happy because you deserve to be

Elena: [Giggles] Once again, thank you, oh could you pass me that piece over there

Blue: Say less

After checking up on the progress, Blue thought about how they needed more men....so he decided to call some women.

Logic!

Blue: Hey Ethan, we should reach out to one more person

Ethan: Who?

Blue: Alcina, her castle is a significant part of the village. If we can get her to help, it'll speed things up a bit

Ethan: You reckon Alcina will help? You're really aiming high, Blue. But I guess it's worth a shot.

Blue: [Rings Alcina] We're Gs now.....but let's hope she's in a good mood ._.

The phone rings a few times before Alcina Dimitrescu answers, her voice regal and commanding.

Alcina: Blue Winters. To what do I owe this unexpected call?

Blue: Heyo, thank you for taking my call. I'm calling because we're starting the process of rebuilding the village. We need all the help we can get, and your castle is a central part of this community.....so want to help?

Alcina: Rebuilding the village, you say? How ambitious. And what exactly do you want from me?

Blue: Oh, you know, helping out with your castle since it's your home and you might have some idea on what things looked like....before the big boom.

Alcina: I see, well I must admit, I did not expect such a proposal. However, my castle is indeed in need of restoration. Very well, Blue. I will oversee the reconstruction, and I will bring my Daughters to assist. They could use a project to focus their energies, and not on those mindless phones

Blue: Hah, that's true. Thank you.

Alcina: Do not disappoint me, Blue. I expect this to be a well-coordinated effort.

Blue ends the call, turning to Ethan with a smile.

Ethan: Huh...she actually agreed. This is huge, Blue.

Blue: Not really, it's just more help.

The two get back to work. Soon after, Alcina Dimitrescu arrives with her Daughters, Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela.

Heisenberg: Well well, Alcina, didn't expect to see you here.

Alcina: I am here to oversee the reconstruction of my castle, the same way you're doing with your factory

Heisenberg: Let's see who has the better 2.0 version of our places

Alcina: It will be mine

Heisenberg: Fuck no!

Bela: They're....already fighting

Cassandra: [Sighs] I'm not surprised but.....our Home will be much better!

Daniela: I agree!

With Alcina Dimitrescu and her Daughters now part of the effort, the rebuilding of the village takes on a renewed energy and determination.

Each person contributes their skills and strength, united in their goal to restore the village to its former glory. Later on, Blue and Alcina could be seen on one of Castle Dimitrescu's balconies, which over looked the village.

He had helped Alcina and her Daughters with the castle, and they had accomplished a lot of work today. Of course, there was still more to do, but they'll get it done eventually.

Blue: It's incredible how much we've accomplished. The village looks better than it has in years, and let me tell you, when I got here, it looked like I was back in Nam!

Alcina: Indeed, it looks much better than even before the tyranny. I never thought I would see this place flourish again, especially not with the help of someone I once wanted dead.

Blue: Funny how things change. From enemies to....what do you think?

Alcina: [Smirks] Hmmm, I think Acquaintances is the best way to see it

Blue: Acquaintances, huh? You don't see me as a friend?

Alcina looks at Blue and tilts her head, a cryptic smile playing on her lips.

Alcina: Friendship is a complex thing, Blue. Sometimes, it can be more dangerous than enmity.

Blue raises an eyebrow, trying to decipher her words. Before he can respond, Alcina leans down and gently kisses the top of his head.

Blue: Wh.....What was that for?

Alcina: A gesture of....appreciation. Take it as you will.

Blue: [Softly Smiles] I'll take it as a nice gesture. T....Thank you?

Alcina: Of course, you have done a lot for all of us, and you are receiving your rewards for it.

They both return their gaze to the village, a comfortable silence settling between them. The others below them were continuing their work, unaware of the unlikely bond forming above them.

Blue: You know, despite everything, I'm glad we ended up working together.

Alcina: And I, despite my initial reservations, have found this experience.....rewarding. Seeing my castle and the village restored is something I didn't realise I would get, but it seems like life would reward me for....not gutting you during our first encounter or the ones after that

Blue: New beginnings, yeah?

Alcina: [Laughs] Yes, to new beginnings.....Blue Winters

As they stand side by side, watching the village continue to thrive, both Blue and Alcina understand that their shared efforts have not only rebuilt a few monuments, but also forged an unexpected and unique connection.

Alcina: Do you want to share my bed?

Blue: Say what now?

Alcina: You're planning to stay here overnight, to avoid time being wasted

Blue: I mean....yeah, but are you sure you want me to share the bed with you? It's not very nice of me

Alcina: Oh please, you've been nothing but nice to me. The least I can do is show you some.....hospitality

Blue: I'll.....think about it

Alcina: That's fine, just note that the sun is setting

Blue: Indeed.

As the sun begins to set over the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, Alcina Dimitrescu turns away from the balcony and begins to walk towards the interior of her castle.

Blue watches her graceful figure move with a sense of elegance and purpose, his mind still processing their conversation.

Blue: She's a mystery, that's for sure. But she's been true to her word, helping us rebuild. Maybe there's more to her than meets the eye.......oh lord she might be a Transformer! I wonder if she is an Autobot now? Or maybe she is still a Decepticon

He leans on the balcony railing, staring out at the village bathed in the warm evening light. Despite the progress made, he knows there's still much to do.

Blue: What's next for me? For us? Rebuilding isn't just about structures, it's also about rebuilding lives.....some of us aren't the same anymore.....

He trails off, lost in thought as he considers the future of the village and his role in it. The challenges they've faced together have forged bonds that transcend the past animosities. At first, the residents of the village, minus Elena, were his enemies.

But now.....they're his friends, at least according to him. It also means he had more people to protect, because Blue believes he has to take that role.

Blue: I'll keep pushing forward. There's still so much to do, but with everyone's help, we'll get there.....I just wonder if I have to do it with my......powers

As expected, Blue was still unsure about his powers. They were hidden from him for his entire life until his past came back to haunt him.

And because of that, he had to awaken them in a battle of Life and Death against the last remnants of that tragic past.

But now.....he didn't know if he should keep using them, they are a bad omen in his mind and it will be up to him to battle against that mental fortitude if he is to defeat whoever comes next.

With a final glance at the village, Blue turns and walks back into the castle, ready to continue the journey of rebuilding and rediscovery, both for the village and for himself.

As Blue goes to find a room to sleep in, he is grabbed by someone and dragged into a bedroom. Blue turns around finds that it was Daniela Dimitrescu, who had a red face full of nervous energy.

Blue: Uhhh hey, Daniela

Daniela: H-Hello....

Blue: So....what's with the sudden kidnapping?

Daniela: U-Umm, I was wondering if you would share the bed with me?

Blue:......Why?

Daniela: I-I thought it was a nice gesture...

Blue: Oh, okay, I'll......share the bed with you

Daniela: Really? Great!

Daniela dragged Blue to her bed and wrapped her arms around him once they were both under the cover. Daniela realised what she did and retracted, but Blue knew what she wanted....in a way.

So he brings her closer to him, Daniela blushes but accepts the warmth and closes her eyes. She knew that this was wrong because Blue was with Donna, but he was also with Eveline.

It gives her hope that she can be accepted as well.

Daniela: I-I really love him, don't I?

Oh right, if it wasn't obvious enough, Daniela had a little crush on the Young Winters. So things might start escalating in strange ways.

Blue: [Yawns] Goodnight, Daniela

Daniela: G-Goodnight....Blue

The two fall asleep, with Daniela cuddling up nice with Blue.
__________________________

Half a Month Later, the village was completed. The residents wouldn't be moving back in just yet as some smaller things needed to be done, and so Blue had an idea as he moves back to his original assignment.

He is seen in the BSAA Laboratory, where he has developed a love for being a scientist ever since he found and got involved. It's strange because no one saw this coming, but only Blue understood the flower.

He doesn't know why, but he doesn't care because it gives him something to do. Blue stands by a lab table filled with various scientific equipment and the small, delicate flower encased in a glass container.

He had a plan, and he was ready to execute it, the door opens, and Donna Beneviento, her right eye covered by her black veil, enters the room with Angie, sitting in her arms.

Blue: Donna, Angie, thank you both for coming.

Donna: Of course Blue, I will always follow you, wherever you go. You also sounded excited when you called me

Angie: Yeah, what's the big deal? You want to fuck Donna-?

Donna: [Blushes] A-ANGIE!

Angie: What?! You said you're ready for it!

Donna: Y-Yes but not right now!

Blue: Umm...I don't think it's that. I don't even know what she said. I've discovered something mad, this flower here, that I definitely wasn't planning to sell for money, has healing properties, like mad tings and that. I've been studying it for some time now.

Donna: A flower? What exactly does it do to heal?

Blue: Well, it has the ability to heal wounds and potentially even cure certain things. I believe it can help with your eye, Donna. The condition you've been struggling with....I think I can get rid of it.

Donna gasp softly, her hand instinctively reaching towards her veil-covered eye

Donna: You....you can cure it? Truly?

Angie: Hey, don't get our hopes up Blue! Are you sure it's safe?

Blue: Nah, I don't think so, but what's life without a bit of Trial and Error?

Donna&Angie: ._.

Blue: I'm joking! I wouldn't suggest it if I wasn't confident, Angie. I've run multiple tests on myself, not really, and the results have been promising. Of course, we'll proceed with caution, because I love you and I don't want to lose you

Donna: [Places Hands Over Heart] Awww, that's so cute of you, Blue. So what do I need to do?

Blue: Well, according to this book called "Science for Idiots"-

Donna: W-What?

Angie: Oh God no....

Blue: I'll have to prepare a serum using the flower's extract. It will take a bit of time, but once it's ready, we can begin the treatment. I'll be with you every step of the way, like the good boi I am

Donna: Thank you, Blue. You have no idea what this means to me.

Angie: Just make sure you don't turn her into a flower monster or something, okay? Otherwise we will be having problems

Blue: I promise, Angie. Donna will be perfectly safe, why would I do that to her?

Donna: I trust you, Blue. Thank you

Blue: Anytime, Donna

Donna approaches Blue, her eyes filled with gratitude and something deeper. She removes her veil, revealing her scarred eye. Blue steps closer, his hand gently touching her cheek.

Donna: You've given me hope, Blue. More than I ever thought possible.

Blue: You've given me hope too, Donna. You made me more happier than I've ever been

They share a tender kiss, a moment of solace and connection amidst the uncertainty. Angie looks away, feigning annoyance but with a hint of a smile.

Angie: Oh, get a room, you two.

The two pull away, soft smiles present on their faces.

Donna: I should go and let you prepare. Thank you, Blue.

Blue: I'll see you soon, Donna.

As Donna and Angie leave, the door opens again, and Heisenberg strides in, his usual confident smirk on his face.

Heisenberg: [Grins] Saw the lady leaving. Looks like you two lovebirds are getting along just fine. I still can't believe it that you managed to bag a beauty like Donna, but now you also have Eveline? Teach me your ways, Mini Winters!

Blue: Big man ting yeah, I have no bloody idea on how I did that. I'm just being me and it works, so for you....you can't be yourself

Heisenberg: Oh you dickhead, so what's the plan boss?

Blue: Simple things, take the healing properties of this flower and create a madness. Your expertise with mechanics might come in handy for the equipment we need, because we need specific equipment that I don't have

Heisenberg: Aright, let's get to it. Just remember, if this goes south, I'm blaming you.

Blue: Of course you would, it's fair but.....Trust The Process

Heisenberg: Ah, the infamous words, I like it!

The two get to work, their combined skills and determination focused on creating a solution that could change Donna's life forever. Any maybe they can do the same for the others.

[Two Days Later]

The lab is filled with the hum of equipment and the faint, medicinal scent of antiseptics. Blue stands by a lab table, a small vial of serum in hand, his expression a mixture of anticipation and hope.

It's been two days and somehow, he managed to make the thing that can change Donna, Alcina and the others.

Blue: I may not be smart, but if I keep saying the magic three words, I feel like I can do anything

The door opens, and Donna Beneviento, now without her veil, walks in with Angie perched on her shoulder.

Blue: Heyo! I've made the ting, so now I can help you

Donna: It's.....t-time, then?

Blue: Yes. I've run every test I can think of, it's as safe as it can be. Are you ready?

Donna: Y-Yes....I'm ready. Let's do this.

Angie: You better not mess this up, Blue! Otherwise I'll call my Father on you!

Blue: You....have a Father?

Angie: Oh yes, but he's pulling a Vergil right now. He doesn't want to admit it~

Blue: Is that so? Well, nevermind that, because I made sure that Donna will be okay.

Blue gently takes Donna's hand and guides her to a chair. He carefully cleans the area around her eye, then prepares the injection as he thought that this was the best way to do it.

Blue: Now don't panic, but you might feel a slight sting.

Donna: I trust you, Blue, it's why I love you....because we trust each other.

Blue injects the serum near Donna's eye, his hands steady and precise. Moments pass in silence, the tension palpable. Slowly, the scar tissue around Donna's eye begins to heal, the skin smoothing and returning to its natural state.

Donna noticed this and began to tear up.

Donna: I....I can see clearly. It's gone, Blue. It's r-really gone!

Blue: Oh my God, it actually worked!

Overwhelmed with emotion, Donna leans in and gives Blue a heartfelt kiss, the culmination of weeks of hope and hard work was felt.

Angie: Okay, okay, enough with the mushy stuff. What about me? I need help too!

Blue: Haha, alright, Angie. Your turn, I've got a dial for you as well.

Blue prepares another dose of the serum and carefully injects it into Angie's doll form. At first, nothing seems to happen, then, gradually, the wooden and fabric parts of Angie's body begin to smooth and clean, her appearance becoming more refined and lifelike.

(So what she looks like in the picture above)

She was still missing a piece of her face, but an arrangement can be made for that.

Angie: Whoa, I look amazing! Look at me, Donna!

Donna: You look wonderful, Angie.....thank you, Blue

Blue: Of course, I would do anything for you

Suddenly, Angie jumps onto Blue's face, her tiny hands grabbing his cheeks.

Angie: Hahahaha! Now it's my turn to give you a kiss!

Blue: Angie you're a doll! It doesn't work like that!

Blue begins to struggle, as he tries to remove Angie from his face. But the doll just laughs as she makes Blue work to get her off.

Angie: So what? Dolls need love too!

Eventually, Blue manages to set Angie down, he had a smile on his face, appreciating the moment.

Blue: Alright, alright just.....no more jumping on faces.

Donna: Thank you, Blue. For everything.

Blue: It was all worth it to see you both happy, especially you. Now, let's make sure everything stays this way.

As they share a moment of relief and joy, the bond between them stronger than ever, the future looks brighter for Donna, Blue.....and even Angie to an extent.
_____________________________

[Later that Day]

Even though Blue had cured Donna and Angie, his work wasn't done. He was feeling all sorts of confidence, so he got down to the next thing which was helping the others.

Blue was busy preparing another set of vials, his focus unwavering as he ensures the precise mixture of the antidote. He wasn't sure if he had enough of the flower's essence to work with, but will do what he can.

The lab door opens, and Bela and Cassandra Dimitrescu enter through, as Blue had called them over.

Blue: Bela, Cassandra, what's up?

Bela: Well, you did call us right?

Cassandra: Unless you forgot, like an idiot

Blue: Oh no, I remember, don't worry.

Bela: I see, good. Because you sounded really excited when you wanted to see us

Cassandra: [Crosses Arms] Yes, What's this all about? You're not thinking about anything unholy, are you?

Blue: Umm....no? I've been working on something that might interest you. An antidote to remove your weakness to the cold winds. I think I've finally got it sorted out

Cassandra: Wait, with that flower?!

Blue: Yeah, I think it will work

Bela: [Eyes Widen] Really? That would be incredible, Blue!

Cassandra: Yeah! I-I mean well, it better work. I'm tired of being so vulnerable to a little breeze!

Blue: Don't worry, I'm confident it will. I mean, did you see Donna and Angie the other day?

Cassandra: Wait, that was you?! Why didn't she mention it?

Bela: Probably to keep it a surprise, she knew that we were going to get the same treatment

Blue: I did mention this to her, now....are you both ready to give it a try?

Bela: Absolutely, I trust you completely

Cassandra: [Rolls Eyes] Yeah, as if I trust you....whatever. Let's just get this over with.

Blue goes over to prepare the antidote, and while he does that, Bela noticed that Cassandra seemed nervous about this. Her arm gripped the other, and Bela could see her face showing doubt.

Being the Older Sister, Bela places her hand on Cassandra's shoulder, to reassure her that everything will be okay.

Cassandra: T...Thank you, Sister

Bela: Of course Sister, look....you will be fine. I'll go first if you want

Cassandra: T-That would be nice

Blue: Alright Cabrons, I've got it ready, so who's first?

Bela: Do me first

Blue nods his head and administers the antidote to Bela first. She stands still, a calm expression on her face, as he injects the serum. Moments later, a faint, warm glow envelops her before dissipating.

Bela: I feel....amazing. Warm, even. Blue, I-I think it worked! We could never feel warmth before, which is why the cold hurt us badly, but now we can live in those conditions!

Blue: Oh damn, I'm glad that worked, Bela. Cassandra, it's your turn.

Cassandra: Alright, alright. Just be quick about it, and don't you dare cause me any pain

Blue: I won't, I won't

Blue switches to Cassandra and inserts the antidote to her. She tries to maintain her aloof demeanor but can't hide her curiosity. As the warm glow envelops her as well, she shivers slightly, then relaxes.

Cassandra: I guess it's...not bad. Thank you, B-Blue.....I suppose...

Bela: [Giggles] You know that you can be honest, Cassandra. It's amazing what Blue has done

Cassandra: [Blushes and Looks Away] W-Whatever!

Blue: Haha, I'm just glad it worked for both of you. I assume Daniela will want to try it too?

Bela: Well yes, but Daniela is busy with something at the moment. But I'm sure she'll be thrilled once she hears about it.

Cassandra: That girl....she's probably off playing with her latest obsession. You know how she is.

Blue: Ah right, I did give her that Nintendo 2DS.....

Cassandra: An idiotic idea, now she is obsessed with completing this game.

Blue:....What game?

Bela: Something about....Bowser's Inside Story?

Blue:.....Let her play

Bela: What?

Blue: Let her play!

Cassandra: But-!

Blue: I said let her play!

Both: ._.

Blue:......Well, whenever she's ready, let her know she can come by. I'll have the antidote prepared for her as well.

Cassandra: Y-Yeah....

Bela: Thank you, Blue. This means a lot to us. Truly.

Cassandra: Y....Yes, thank you.....Winters

Blue: It's my pleasure. I'm just happy I could help.

Bela smiles and gives Blue a kiss on the cheek, he is surprised while Cassandra was in disbelief. Her face was red, but not as much as Bela's who smiles at Blue before dragging Cassandra away.

Blue:.....Well.....that just happened.

As Bela and Cassandra leave the lab, Blue watches them go, feeling a deep sense of fulfillment. He turns back to his work, already thinking about the next steps and how to continue making a difference for those he cares about.

The next day comes, and Blue is once again working. His focus is intense as he carefully mixes ingredients for a new antidote. The door opens, and Rebecca Chambers enters the lab.

Rebecca: Hello Blue!

Blue: Heyo

Rebecca: You've been holed up in here for days, what are you working on?

Blue: I've now entered my Science Arc and been making these antidotes to help some of our friends. Right now, I'm working on something for Alcina and Ethan.

Rebecca: Alcina and Ethan? Oh, right! I saw what happened to the girls!

Blue: Exactly

Rebecca: That's great! So what have you managed to do so far?

Blue: Well, as you know I started with Donna. I found a flower with incredible healing properties and used it to create a serum that cured her eye condition. It worked perfectly so I thought....why not try it on the others?

Rebecca: Oh wow, that's amazing, Blue. How are you able to do this?

Blue: I have no idea, I just felt like I could understand the flower better than anyone.

Rebecca: Interesting, what else?

Blue: After that, I created something for Bela and Cassandra to remove their weakness to cold winds. Both were successful.

Rebecca: That's incredible! So, what's the plan for Alcina?

Blue: Well, Alcina's condition is a bit more complex due to her vampiric traits and size. I'm working on a thing to help her control her transformations and possibly reduce her need for blood. It's tricky, but I'm close......I-I think?

Rebecca: I think you are, what about Ethan?

Blue: Ethan's situation is unique. The mold has given him regenerative abilities but at a great cost. I'm trying to create something that will remove it completely, and keep him normal

Rebecca: W-Wow, you're doing a great thing. You've taken on a monumental task, Blue, but if anyone can do it, it's you. How can I help?

Blue: You want to help me?

Rebecca: Why not? We haven't talked much or did anything together.

Blue: Well then, I could use another pair of eyes to go over my calculations that I definitely didn't ask Helena for....perhaps some assistance in the lab. Your experience would be good for this, and your uhhh...what's the word? Oh right, resourcefulness!

Rebecca: Say no more, let's do this!

Rebecca joins Blue at the workbench, and together they meticulously review the formulas and data, making adjustments and improvements. Their combined expertise and dedication fuel their progress, bringing them closer to finding solutions for both Alcina and Ethan.

Rebecca: Your work with the flower is fascinating. If we can harness its properties correctly, it would help both Alcina and Ethan!

Blue: That's the plan, we just need to ensure the antidotes are stable and effective without any adverse side effects. I don't want Ethan to be high on something

Rebecca: [Giggles] Don't worry, we'll get there, Blue. You've already done so much, I have no doubt we'll succeed.

Blue: Thank you, Rebecca, I appreciate your confidence and help. Let's make this happen.

As they continue working, the lab is filled with a renewed sense of purpose. Blue and Rebecca's collaboration promises to bring hope and healing to Alcina and Ethan, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in their world.

Later that day, Blue stands by his workbench, carefully checking the final antidote he has prepared for Alcina Dimitrescu. He takes a deep breath, hoping that this latest creation will be as successful as the previous ones.

The lab door opens, and Alcina, towering and elegant, steps inside.

Blue: Hey Alcina, thank you for coming. I have the thing ready for you.

Alcina: Blue, you've done so much for my Daughters, and myself. I hope this works for me as well, otherwise I'll have your head

Blue: H-Haha...don't worry, I'm confident it will. This antidote should help you control your powers a bit more. Your transformations and your need for blood will be altered as well.

Alcina: If you have really done that, then I'll be really impressed.

Blue: Well prepare to be amazed.

Blue carefully administers the antidote in Alcina's neck. She stands still, her height making the procedure slightly challenging but manageable.

As the serum takes effect, a soft glow surrounds her, and she closes her eyes, feeling the changes within her body. Moments later, the glow fades, and Alcina opens her eyes, looking more composed and in control.

Alcina: I feel...different, stronger, more in control. Blue, I believe it has worked.

Blue: Oh wow, another successful experiment? I'm glad to hear that, Alcina, how do you feel?

Alcina: I feel better than I have in years. Thank you, Blue, you've not only helped me but also my Daughters. Your efforts with the reconstruction of Castle Dimitrescu are also deeply appreciated.

Blue: I-!

Before Blue can respond, Alcina leans down and gives him a quick, yet tender kiss on the lips. Blue stands stunned for a moment, as Alcina shows off a playful smile.

Alcina: Consider that your reward, Blue. But don't think about it too much until I decide to bring it up again.

Blue: O.....kay? I won't think about it. I'm just happy to help.

Alcina straightens up, a hint of amusement in her eyes, and then gracefully exits the lab. Blue watches her leave, still slightly puzzled but satisfied with the successful outcome.

Blue: Well that was strange, oh well, back to work!
