Star was brushing her hair in her room in Alfonzo's house. She hears a knock at the door and goes to answer it. At the door was Alfonzo. "Hey Star. How'd it go with Marco?"

"Like I said before, it didn't change my mind about him. He's not nice. The only reason I excepted this date thing is because it'll be good to take him down a few notches. He deserves it.'

Alfonzo did a spit take. "What date?"

"He invited me out on a date."

"But what about Jackie?'

"He said he's decided to break up with her. I almost feel sorry for him. He's breaking up with his girlfriend for me. He's gonna be so sad when he realises I never liked him."

Alfonzo looked worriedly at Star. "I'd be more worried about yourself. When Jackie gets broken up with, she'll be out for blood, and when she realises it's you she's after, she will kill you."

Star continued to brush her hair. "It's ok. I'm sure I can take care of myself."

Alfonzo was about to leave but poked his head around the door frame. "Just be careful ok. I don't want you to get hurt."

Star ushered him out of her room. "I'll be fine. Now get out. I've got to get changed for the date, and I don't want you to see me naked."

Alfonzo left and Star locked the door. Meanwhile in Marco's house, Marco was looking at himself in the mirror wearing a leather jacket. His mum called up from downstairs. "Marco, what are you doing?"

"Getting ready."

"For what?"

Marco came down the stairs wearing his leather jacket. "I have a date."

"With that Jackie girl?"

"No, a different girl."

"Good, I never liked her. Now remember to be back by 10. If you miss curfew one last time I'm going to have to punish you."

Marco flicked out his sunglasses and put them on. "Whatever."

He opened the door and left. The door slammed behind him. Mrs Diaz shook her head and sighed.
