chapter 19
Circe pov
The battle had been won, me, Mal, my parents Hercules, Poseidon, and the other allies turned our attention to the pressing matter at hand - establishing a new order in the divine realm.
After my grandmother locked Zeus and his fellow allies in the dungeon and I went to auradon to make sure Uma, Harry and gil were ok and we sent Ursula back to the isle with the promise test we will give her a chance at a second chance along with my mother we then gathered in a sacred grove, bathed in the gentle glow of moonlight with my grandmother we sat in a circle, our expressions a mix of weariness and determination.
The air crackled with anticipation as we began to discuss the future of our realm, recognizing the need for a fair and just system of governance that would prevent the abuse of power.
Athena, her voice carrying the weight of wisdom and experience, spoke first. "We have witnessed the consequences of unchecked authority. We must ensure that the gods' powers are used responsibly and in the best interest of all. The time has come for a council to guide our actions and decisions."
The remaining gods and goddesses nodded in agreement, there gazes filled with a newfound sense of purpose.
The gods understood the importance of not repeating the mistakes of the past and were committed to forging a better future.
Poseidon, his voice resonating like the vast ocean, added, "This council should consist of representatives from various realms and pantheons, including gods, demigods, and mortal leaders. Together, we can create a balanced system that upholds justice and harmony."
Hercules, his muscles still tense from the battle, spoke passionately, "We must establish clear rules and limitations on the use of divine powers. No longer shall we allow unchecked might to trample upon the lives of mortals. We owe it to them to wield our powers responsibly."
As the discussion unfolded, ideas flowed like a mighty river, each person contributing their perspectives and insights. We all delved into the intricacies of governance, debating the balance between individual freedom and collective well-being. Days turned into nights, and nights into days as we worked tirelessly, driven by our shared vision.
Finally, after two weeks of much deliberation, a consensus emerged. We had crafted a framework for a new order, a system that would stand as a beacon of hope and justice in the divine realm. we stood, our weariness replaced by a renewed vigor, ready to present their proposal to the gods and mortals alike.
Word spread swiftly throughout the realms, carrying the news of the gods and goddesses' efforts to establish a council and a new set of rules. The citizens of auradon, the residents of the isle and the l immortals of the Olympus alike awaited the outcome with anticipation, their hearts yearning for a world where power was wielded responsibly and the well-being of all was valued.
In a grand assembly attended by gods, goddess, demigods, and the king of auradon, the heroes presented their proposal. Their words resonated with conviction, their voices carrying the weight of hard-fought victories and lessons learned from the past. The council would be formed, and the gods would be held accountable for their actions.
As the assembly came to a close, a sense of collective purpose pervaded the atmosphere. We had sown the seeds of change, and now it was up to the divine and mortal realms to nurture them together. A new era had dawned, one where power would be tempered with responsibility, and the gods would serve as guardians rather than tyrants.
And so, with hope as our guide, we embarked on a journey to implement the new order. As we ventured forth, we carried the weight of our shared victory, ready to shape a future where the divine realm would flourish under the principles of justice, balance, and compassion.
In this new era, mortals and gods would walk side by side, their destinies intertwined, forging a world where the legacy of the battle against Zeus would be remembered not only as a victory over darkness, but also as the catalyst for a brighter future.
All that was left to do was to sentence Zeus and his allies for their wrong doing and for my coronation as ruler of the underworld
