Ben pov

I was currently on the isle with Jay, Carlos and Evie and while they were teaching me how to behave on the isle we ran into gil who was apparently the son of my father's sworn enemy Gaston.

I didn't think that gil was a bad person that wanted to hurt me since as my mom would say. The lights are on but nobody was home. But apparently whoever Gil's friends were they scared the others and they said that we needed to hurry up and get to mal's hideout

Wish me luck I said as I went up the stairs and entered the hideout and saw Mal with her back turned spray painting on the wall

She had changed in the short amount of time that she had left auradon. Her once long hair was now cut short and her clothes were different. More the isle than auradon. Just like it was when we first met and when I fell in love with her

At least I don't see a picture of me with horns and a pitch fork. I said as Mal turned around surprised to see me

Ben. Mal said

Mal, I'm so sorry about our fight. It was my fault I shouldn't have been so hard on you and I should have noticed that you were struggling. I'll be better i promise. Please come home. I said as mal shook her head

Ben, I am home. I don't belong in auradon. I never did. You are a king I'm just an isle kid. I tried my hardest to fit in but I couldn't. I was born a vk I can't change that Mal said

Then I'll change. I'll skip school, have more fun. You know, I-I'll blow off some of my responsibilities. I said willing to compromise

No, no! Don't you see? I'm a terrible influence on you! It's only a matter of time before I do something so messed up that not only does the kingdom turn on me, but they turn on you. Mal said

Don't quit us, Mal. The people love you. I love you. Don't you love me? I said as Mal looked at me and sighed and took off the ring that I had given her when I was crowned king

I have to take myself out of the picture because it's what's best for you, and it's what's best for Auradon. Mal said handing me  the ring back

Mal, please....I said as she shook her head

No Ben. Go back to auradon. You're not safe here. Mal said as I sighed and went back downstairs

So? Where's Mal? Evie asked

She's not coming. I said

"What?! This is ridiculous." Evie said as she went to a speaker and spoke into it "Mal! Its me Evie"

Go away! Mal said back

Ugh! Mal stop being so melodramatic. Evie said as I walked away from the group completely heartbroken

I guess I can see this as a leaning experience about paying attention to my surroundings because the next thing I knew I was hit upside the head and was knocked unconscious.

Evie pov

Let's give her a couple of hours to cool off. Jay said as I looked around not seeing Ben

Guys! Where's Ben? I asked

Ben? Carlos called out

Ben! Jay yelled as we saw a figure   walking to us that kinda looked like Ben

Ben, don't scare us like that! I said

Don't scare you? But that's my specialty. Harry said

What did you do to Ben? Jay asked

Oh, uh, we nicked him. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And if you want to see him again, have Mal come to the Chip Shoppe tonight. Alone. Uma and Circe want a little...visit Harry said as he became to taunt Jay and Carlos before he left us to deal with the task of telling mal we messed up...bad

Are you fucking kidding me?!? You guys shouldn't have brought him here! What were you thinking?!? Oh I'll tell you what you were thinking, you were thinking at all! Mal yelled after we told her that Ben had been kidnapped

He was gonna come with or with out us Mal I said

We just wanted to protect him. Jay said

Oh yeah? And how did that work out for yeah? Mal said sarcastically

Okay! Okay. So, what are we gonna do? I said

"We" are not doing anything. This is between Uma, circe and me. And Uma is a punk and circe wants me dead And guess what now I have to go deal with them and get Ben back Mal said upset

Hold up... What do you mean she wants you dead? What happened to the twin bond? I asked

Bitch don't you dare talk about that damn twin bond. It's your fault that Circe hates me in the first place. You told me that it would be a bad idea for circe to come mal said

Well you didn't have to listen to me you made that choice all by yourself! You made your bed now lie in it I said as Mal glared at me

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Mal. You're still gonna have to go through Harry Hook and his wharf rats. Carlos said not even trying to get into the argument that me and Mal were having

Yeah, you're gonna need us. Jay said

Uma and Circe said to come alone. And that's exactly what I'm gonna do while you three stay your asses here Mal said firmly as she walked off to meet circe and Uma.
