Kisses in the Night
Here's another chapterrrrrrrrr
⚠️ There is Marichat smut
It's not as intense as *cough* other fanfics *cough*, but I think I would still classify it as smut
Anyways, I've never written smut before so I hope it's alright
...enjoy? 😂😅

Chat didn't know what had overcome him. One moment, he was lying on Marinette's bed, telling her about his breakup with Ladybug. The next, he found himself kissing her fiercely, a hand on her back while her fingers dug into his hair.
What am I doing? He thought as he trailed kisses down Marinette's neck. I was just talking about Ladybug, why am I kissing Marinette?
There was something that came over him, something he couldn't place. Perhaps it was the atmosphere, or how comforting Marinette's hand was on his. Maybe it was how her bluebell eyes and raven hair reminded him so much of his lady. Either way, Chat couldn't deny what he had done, but with Marinette's kisses and her small gasps, it was rather hard to think.
Stop. His mind, the rational part at least, commanded him. You have to stop. You're only going to hurt Marinette.
Chat Noir couldn't help but wonder as she pressed kisses along his jaw, why was she kissing him back? He had never seen Marinette as more than a good friend, someone to spill his secrets to, someone to chat with and listen but here they were, kissing just as passionately as Chat would with his lady under the cover of darkness.
It felt good.
Chat couldn't lie. In that moment, his mind shut off, every part of his body hummed with desire. But it was wrong. It was so so wrong. A part of him wanted Marinette, the same part of him that had forced him to pace around his room for the last three hours. The other part of him wanted Ladybug, his partner, his lady and best friend. That part of him pretended Marinette was her and it was so, so wrong.
"Stop," Chat Noir whispered in a strangled voice. His body didn't want him to stop but his mind commanded it.
Marinette couldn't hear him and his hands tightened on her waist, a purr rumbling in his chest. He could feel everything through her thin, tank-top, the sweater she had worn now lay on the floor, discarded and forgotten.
When did that happen? He thought hazily. Chat Noir couldn't remember taking Marinette's sweater off, nor did he have the memory of it coming off at all.
"Stop!" He commanded, louder this time, thrusting Marinette away from him. Her eyes widened as if she was just realizing what they had done. Something flickered in her eyes. Shame? Guilt? Remorse? Chat couldn't tell.
He watched silently as Marinette snatched her sweater from the floor and slipped it on, tugging it into place, her face flushed crimson.
"I—I'm sorry," Chat stammered, standing up. "I didn't know what happened." He could still feel the kisses she had placed on his jaw and neck, her hands in his hair.
Marinette wouldn't look at him, her eyes trained on the ground. "It's okay," she whispered, as if she couldn't believe what had just occured. If Chat was honest, he couldn't either. "But I think you should leave now," Marinette swallowed.
Chat knew he deserved it but it still hurt, it hurt so bad it was as if he had just been whacked in the chest with a hundred-pound hammer. Nevertheless, he didn't argue, just nodding stiffly. "Goodnight Princess," he breathed, opening the window and hopping out.
Marinette's eyes were still on the ground as she pulled the window close. Licking her swollen lips, she whispered, "goodnight Chat."
Chat Noir hopped onto the balcony railing, glancing back at Marinette one more time but she had already turned. He was so stupid, what was he thinking? No. That was the problem. He wasn't thinking and now he might've lost one of his closest friends, his most trusted confidants.
I could still go to her as Adrien, Chat Noir thought was he vaulted back into his bedroom. The evening air seemed a lot chillier than it had been just moments ago.
Chat Noir could still go to Marinette as Adrien but he knew that he wouldn't, not anymore. After all, he didn't even deserve to meet her eye after what he did tonight.
