A feeling

There were blaster fire coming from all over the place, and Serena the leader of the crew, co-pilot, and a Jedi, was doing her best to evade them in her ship The Falcon. But she was also trying to not move around so much so that her teammates could hit the tie-fighters that were shooting at them. But the tie's were not the only ones shooting at them, the Star Destroyers were also putting heavy fire on them, but Serena evaded every shot since she had a good experience with flying and maneuvering in ships, since her master taught her everything he knew about piloting during the clone wars. But while Serena was flying, Zook, the Lasat, was at one of the forward laser turrets, shooting the tie's that were blocking their path in which they were going to jump, and get out of there. On the other forward laser turret, was Gaia, Serena's padawan, who was helping clear the way for the jump, and she would also tell Zook where to shoot.

While Hank, the second in command, was on the dorsal laser turret, trying to make sure that the sides were clear so that not a lot of ties would get out front. Elly and Rover, the droid, were in the cockpit with Serena, Elly wasn't doing anything, because there was nothing really for her to do, and had no idea what to do on the ship, and Rover was preparing to jump when Serena tells him to. But Draco, the pilot, was not in the main ship, he was in the smaller ship that attached to The Falcon, which was the main ship, but the smaller ship was called The Vulture, Draco was shooting at the ties that the crew on The Falcon could not get at.

"Zook, Gaia, there is one coming up from the side that I missed." Hank said through his comms unit.

"I got this one Zook." Gaia said.

"Don't miss this one." Zook replied.

"Zook, when have I ever missed?" Gaia asked.

"Well..." Zook was starting to say.

"It was a rhetorical question." She said as she aimed, shot, and destroyed the tie. "Got it!"

"Nice job Gaia." Serena said.

"Thanks." Gaia said.

"Draco how are we looking back there?" Serena asked.

"Well if you are planning to jump, now is the time to do it, because more Star Destroyers just showed up, and you know what that means." Draco said.

"Well you better re-attach to the ship fast." Hank told him.

"I'm trying." Draco replied, as he brought The Vulture back to The Falcon

"Are we clear for jump?" Elly asked.

"Well I sure hope so." Serena answered. "Rover, activate the jumping sequence when I tell you." She told the droid.

"Wah wah whrrrrrr." Rover replied.

"Rover don't argue with me, just do what I tell you to do." Serena said.

"Okay, I have re-attached." Draco said.

"Now Rover!" Serena ordered Rover.

"Wrrrrrr." Rover said as he engaged the hyper drive and disappeared from the sight of the star destroyers and tie fighters.

"Good job everyone, that was a successful mission, now you can just relax until we get back to Garel." Serena said over the comm unit, and then looked over at Elly. "Because of the intel that you received while you were at the academy, we are able to figure out which ships have the supplies that we need, which without it, would have taken weeks, maybe even months."

"It's no problem Serena, I am just glad to help out." Elly said.

"So are we. Now why don't you get some rest. It will be a while till we get back." Serena said.

"Will do." Elly said as she left the cockpit with Rover, leaving Serena alone with her thoughts.

So Serena was alone in the cockpit, thinking about what it would be like if the empire was never formed and all the Jedi were still alive. She knew it would be much different, since she might not have met any of her friends on the crew. She believed that was a downside to all of it, but then realized that if none of this happened, then they would all be living normal lives, well maybe not for all of them, because Gaia would probably be still training as a jedi, and Rover would probably be a pile of metal, since he is a older model droid. But she thought that if none of this happened, then she may not have ever met her older, and only brother, Hank, who was the only true family she had left. Although she thought of the people on this ship were her family now, and they must stick together, no matter what happens to any of them. She lost her train of thought when the door slid open, and then closed, when she looked, she saw that it was Hank.

"Hey." Serena said.

"Hey." Hank repeated as he sat sown in the chair beside her.

"So what brings you up here?" Serena asked.

"Do I need a reason to just hang out with my little sister?" Hank replied.

"No you don't, but I have a feeling that you have one." She said.

"Well, I wanted to talk to you about something." He said as he sat down.

"Okay, what is it?" She asked.

"Well I actually want to talk to you about someone on the ship." He replied.

"Hank, will you just say it." She said.

"Fine. I wanted to talk to you about Elly." He said.

"What about her?" She asked.

"Well i'm just worried, well more like concerned, that she is not telling us everything she knows on what the empire is planning." He said.

"Hank, why do you think she knows that type of knowledge? I mean she wasn't at the academy long, and I really don't think that they would tell a kid their plans." She replied.

"I know. But I have a feeling Serena." He said.

"Oh, you have a feeling?" She said.

"Yes. Yes I do." He replied.

"Listen Hank. I know you don't trust her that much, but she has given us all the intel that she managed to get while she was at the academy, and it has helped us to stay one step ahead of the empire." She said.

"I realize that." He said.

"Then let it go." She said.

"Fine." He said. "Hey, how much longer till we reach Garel?" He asked.

"I think we will be there shortly, so you should probably tell the others." She responded.

"Okay." He said as he stood up and walked towards the door. "You know this conversation isn't over." He told her.

"I know." She said.

"Alright." He said as the door opened and he walked out.

Serena sighed and she wondered if Hank was right about Elly, about her not telling them everything that she knows about the Empire, that she found out while at the academy. But she trusted Elly, and she knew that she will tell them everything when she is ready. Also Serena knew that not everyone on the crew fully trusted Elly yet, but she had a feeling that she has good inside her, and she might be a little afraid also, but she doesn't know what it is, and she knows that Gaia has the same feeling. As she was thinking about all of it, they had come out of hyperspace and have arrived back at Garel, and Serena was relived that they are back, after the mission that they had just did. So she told everyone through the comms that they have arrived and that they should be landing shortly, so they should get some of the supplies ready to deliver to a client.

Once they landed, Serena opened the doors, and Gaia, Draco, Elly, and Hank went to deliver the supplies, while Zook, Rover and herself stayed with the ship. But suddenly Serena got a strange feeling, not the kind of feeling you get when something bad is going to happen, but the feeling that someone that you haven't seen in a long time was close. But she was confused, because she hasn't felt the presence of this person since the Clone Wars. Which made her even more confused, since this person that she felt the presence of, died, when the Clones betrayed the Jedi, she knew this because they were best friends. So she just shook the feeling off since she knew it must be some kind of mistake, that there was no way that her old friend, Kanan Jarrus, was still alive.
