I was walking to school. Not really paying much attention to the things around me. I was thinking about Murasaki. I had so many questions...

Who was this girl? How did she disappear like that? Why did she have to disappear afterwards?

"Dude! Wait up!" Ned ran up to me. "Dude I was calling after you like 100 meters back. What were you doing? Aren't you supposed to have super hearing?"

"Oh yeah. Sorry man. I was just... thinking..." I replied.

"About what? Oh have you seen that new super hero?" Ned didn't let me answer the first question.

"Oh yeah. That's actually what I was thinking about." I replied. "She was at that hostage thing last night. She has some kind of invisibility power or something..."

"Yeah about that, so what happened?" Ned asked.

"Well I was sneaking in the back when the door opened by itself. Then there was a guy in the back and something happened to him and a voice told me to keep going-"

"You mean like a voice in your head? Are you going nuts man?" Ned eyes me weirdly.

"What no. It was an actual voice like someone standing next to me. Anyway. Then I went to the main room where all the hostages were. The guy had a little boy in his arms threatening to hurt him. Then the weirdest thing happened. His eyes glazed over and he suddenly looked out of it. That's when Murasaki showed up outta nowhere. She told him to 'sleep' in this really mesmerising voice and the guy just dropped. It was so weird."

"Really? Dude so cool! What does she look like?" Ned asked getting excited.

"Yeah. So she was cloaked and had a buff on she only showed her eyes. She has these amazing electric purple eyes... they're so colourful and amazing... it was like looking into whole other universe..." I unknowingly trailed off.

"Dude. Hellooo?" Ned snapped me out of my daze. "Dude have you got a crush?"

"What!? No! No no!" I quickly shut down Neds assumption. "Dude where did that come from!?"

"You totally just tuned out going all dreamy over her eyes." Ned laughed to himself. "I haven't seen you like that since Liz."

"Whatever man. Anyway. After the guy dropped she ran over to the little kid and comforted him. She spoke in this soothing sweet voice...."

"Duuuude. Your doing it again. Hello? Earth to Peter Parker."

"What?" I came back to sense again.

"You trailed off again." Ned smirked.

"No I didn't." I walked slightly faster.

"Yeah you did." Ned kept up with me.

"Whatever dude. Look what do we have first up?" I asked trying to change subject.

"Chemistry." Ned stated.

"Ok cool."

"Did you do the homework?" Ned asked. I stopped dead in my tracks.

"Aw. DAMN IT!" I cursed. "I was too busy with the hostages yesterday." I groaned.

"Your funeral man."

I couldn't focus at all the whole day. All I could think about was Murasaki... all of those questions rushing through my head. Ned would constantly have to pinch me back to reality all throughout the day. So by the end of it my left arm was killing me.

The end of the day finally came and as usual I ran out of class faster than anyone else and jumped over the gate and ran through the streets.

I slipped on the suit and swung off through the city. I looked at the time 3:00pm. Ok. May's agreement to me being Spider-Man was that I just needed to be home by 7:30pm. So I've got four and a half hours to find Murasaki.

Actually now that I think about it, where did she come up with that name... Murasaki... I feel like that I've heard that before.... I wander where. It definitely sounds like some kind of foreign language.... Maybe Chinese? Or Asian... I don't know... wait. I'm such an idiot!

"Hey Karen!"

"Hey Peter. What can I help you with?"

"What is the translation of Murasaki to English?" I asked. How could I possibly forget the fact that I have one of the most advanced AI systems in the world!?!

"'Murasaki' in the Japanese language is translated to 'purple.'"

"Oooh right. Well I was basically on it anyway." I shrugged. "Chinese, Japanese same thing."

"Actually Peter the difference between the two cultures dates back to-"

"It's fine Karen I don't need a history lesson. But thanks for the translation."

"Any time Peter."

The rest of the afternoon was pretty boring again. I help this old lady with directions again and there was a small fist fight that I stopped too. I looked at the time. 6:30pm...

"Well that was the longest three and a half hours of my life." I huffed.

"I do not understand. Every time measurement is the same. Therefore you cannot have the longest three and a half hours of your life as it will always be a measurement of 210 minutes." Karen stated.

"It's just an expression Karen." I laughed.

"ok."

I then saw something around 200 meters away from me on top of a building... it was a black figure. A black cloaked figure... Murasaki.

I swung over to her. "Hey!" I greeted she jumped around and her eyes widened. She then jumped off the side of the building down the alleyway. "Hey wait!"

I jumped down after her. "Wait! I just want to talk about last night! Hold on!" she looked over her shoulder to me and ran off. "Wait!"

She ran around the corner and down the street I followed after her. "Please Wait!" She kept running she turned into another alley way. I turned into the alley after her but when I looked she was gone.

"What? Where'd she go?" I huffed and lent against the wall. "I just wanted to talk and thank her for last night... why is she running away from me? One minute she's there and then-Wait. Hey Karen can you run a heat sensor in the alley?"

"Sure Peter." I waited a second and then my senses allowed me to see a heat sensor lense. There around 5 meters away was red and orange figure that I couldn't see before. That's Murasaki.

I walked up to her. "Why are you running away from me?" She got up and tried to run away but I webbed her hand to a wall. She was struggling against it. "Slow down. It's ok. I'm not trying to hurt you. I just want to talk." I turned the vision off so I was seeing normally.

"Leave me alone." She snapped. "Let me go or else."

"Calm down I promise I won't hurt you." I still couldn't see the rest of her. All I saw was the webbing moving against her struggle. Then it disappeared. "What?" The next thing I new my feet were swiped from underneath me. I feel to the ground with a thud. "owww." I groaned. I reached out and surprisingly grabbed a bit of her cloak stopping her from running off again.

I then felt a pain in my cheek. She had punched me. I webbed where about I thought she was and she fell to the ground. I stood up and slowly walked towards her. But my body stopped moving.

Murasaki was viable again but I still couldn't move. She was holding out a hand in my direction as if stopping me from moving. Wait no. She was stopping me from moving.

She was panting "I told you to stop and just leave me alone. I'm not evil or working against the law ok. I'm only here to help people. I-i just... look you don't know me. You don't know who I am or what I'm dealing with! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" My heart hurt in seeing that tears were making their way down her face. I never meant to hurt her or make her feel scared. But look at me stuffing up I did just that.

Her hand was still extended out in my direction stopping me from moving. The only thing I could move were my eyes. She was shaking... I scared her without meaning to... I am scaring her... why am I so bad at helping people!? My heart dropped. She just stared back at me before lowering her hand and crouching on the ground holding herself. I could move again.

I slowly and cautiously made my way over to her I stopped 2 meters away from her and crouched down to her level. She look up at me and for a moment we just looked into each other's eyes.

Staring into those purple eyes felt like staring into some amazing galaxy. I found myself relaxing and sitting down next to her. She flinched at first but then let me sit down next to her. She then sat down properly too.

"I'm sorry about the whole you know webbing you and running after you thing... I'm just not use to meeting other people like me..." I admitted.

"It's ok... sorry about my whole freak out because ditto I guess..." She smiled well at least I think she did... you can't really tell with the buff but you can tell by her eyes.

Then I realised that the webbing from earlier was still stuck to her hand.

"Uh to you want me to..." I pointed to the webbing. She nodded and gave me her her hand. I pressed the button that shoots the dissolving solution out of my web shooters to get the webbing off.

"Uh what happened before? You know this web disappeared when you did but it's still here?" I was really confused.

"When I uh go invisible, anything that I touch or hold tightly if it's that small turns invisible too. But only if I want it to."

"Wow. Really that's amazing." I awed she smiled slightly.

Her purple eyes then widened and she stood up "What time is it!?" She seemed stressed out.

"Uh..." I looked at my phone "6:57pm." I start.

"WHAT!?" She seemed stressed. "Crap crap crap I've only got like 3 minutes!!" She began to run off. "See ya Spider-Man!!!"

"Bye?" that came out as more of a question... "3 minutes? Until what?..." Well there was one positive at least. She seemed to trust me a little. Only a little but it was there...

I smiled.
