~~Third person's POV~~

Haruhi looked at her father as her father returns it with pure shock in their faces.

"Ummm, did I say something wrong?" Stariette looked at the two.

"How did you know about her?" Ranka asked her with seriousness

" I guess telling you about her won't be painful. Since the two of you bear the same family name as she is. She was my foster mother, but before she became our foster mother she was the one who defended my sister for being innocent because of a crime. She defended us till the very end. This was held back in America when I was only 4 yrs. old. She succeeded but when she was starting to leave back to Japan, she signed something that she is going to adopt us when she came back."

~~Flash back~~

"Why are you leaving? Is it about going back to where you came from and proceeding to another case?" the 4 yrs. old me told her.

Hard to believe right? But that is a 4 yrs. old me acting like a mature woman.
Starting from the day she accepted the case about my sister, she stayed with us and cared for us like she is our mother.

"Yes, you truly are a smart and intelligent girl." She told me while patting my head.

"But who is going to be the one who will care for us? Or who will treat us nicely? Who is going take care of me and my sister?" I kept asking her questions.

"Stariette, dear I need to go back to where I came from. I know, that you know I have a family back there." She knelt until we faced in the same height.

"I know you have a family. But what about me and Eris? I know we could go through life but people look down on us and say we can't possibly do it."

"I tell you this. I will come back someday and you and your sister will be going back with me ok?" she told me while hugging me.

"MMhmm." was the only response I could muster out.

"I am leaving exactly 8 in the morning. And I promise you will be welcome to be in our family." She told me still hugging me.

I never felt so happy when she came to me and Eris' life. It feels like we really had a real mother who really take care of us.

"Y- you are leaving?" I heard an angelic voice asking. I looked at the direction where the voice is. It was my sister, Eris. She looked at us with tears in her eyes.

"Eris, Come here" She opened her other arm and gesturing to my sister to come forward.

My sister lunge forward to us and hugged tightly to me and Kei-san, no our mom. She sobbed in her arms.

"Star dear, please explain to her." She told me.

I telepathically explained everything to her.An hour conversation is just a mere second to us.

Why?

We are not ordinary humans ,only.....

" She understood, she just want to spend a last moment before you leave." I stated

" Ok, What about a stroll on the park?" Keiko suggested.

"That sounds good. What do you think eri-chan?" I asked my twin.

She nodded.

"Then it is settled. Go get dress, I'll wait" Mom smiled at us.

We changed our clothes and I got Eris a blonde wig and a pair of blue eye contacts. It is to hide her identity.

(( Stariette is wearing blue, While Eris wore pink))

We stroll for a bit and went to the amusement park, Ice cream shop and to the zoo.
We even go to the photo booth. Eris took of her wig in the booth to take pictures.

And by the end of the day we slept together...
Since this is the last time that we will be together...

~~End of Flash back~~

" But unfortunately, she never came back. We waited until 6 years passed by. The orphanage contacted us and gave us some information and some things Mom left." Stariette ended

"Mom?" Haruhi asked

" Oh I am terribly sorry about that. I am used to call Keiko-san as my mom.She was the only one who defended us." I told them with sad expression across my face.

"I completely understand." Ranka told me while looking at me with concern.

"Keiko is my wife who died when Haruhi was still a little girl" Ranka explained to the blonde.

" O-oh My condolences. I didn't know Keiko-san died" She looked down.

"Do not worry we will be your family. True, Mom is not here but we could at least treat you like a sister." Haruhi told me smiling.

"Ok! I will tell my loving sister about it." I told her

" I guess you should be living with us. But we only have 2 rooms and a small apartment." Haruhi looked at me with an apologetic way.

"Oh no, I have that covered up. I will be moving here soon with my sister. And I will give you the letter she left for you and haruhi-san." Stariette looked out the window.

"Oh look! the rain stopped! I should be going. I have some things to take care of. Till we meet again" She bowed down to the father and daughter.

"Same as for you, Just call me Ranka. Please no honorifics." Ranka looked at the girl.

"And same as for me, Just haruhi. I will escort you to the door" Haruhi walked to the door with Stariette.

"Till we meet again, Haruhi" The blonde hugged the the brunette and left.

Starriete-san hugged me and left our apartment.

'I am having a sister or two next time we meet.' I smiled to myself.

I walked to the living room and dad gave me a bag.

"Haruhi its for you" Dad gave me a bag.

It is one of the bag that she had!!

"She must have forgotten it. I will give it back for her." Started to walk towards the door and a voice rang in my head.

'check the bag' It said.

I thought and looked at the bag. It has a letter in it directed to me. It read:

I opened the bag and I found a white cloth. I took it out and I was shocked at what I saw. It was the white dress I wanted to buy. And it costed so much.

'why is she bothering to buy me this? She could use the money for her own needs than mine'

Then I look at the small bag inside the shopping bag. I took and opened it.

It was a pink butterfly keychain.

"thank you Stariette. I am looking forward for being a sister to you in the near future.'

I smiled as I looked at the butterfly keychain.
