A couple months have passed and it's now Christmas, which means there is a blanket of fresh snow on the ground. Winter has always been Delilah's favorite time of the year, it was the only thing that she was looking forward to growing up. But it also sucked because that's when her brother would be home, and she hated her brother.

She had been the brains of the twin's mischief at Hogwarts, but they wouldn't tell anyone, not wanting the girl to get into trouble. They were the only ones that knew about her past, outside of Hayley. Despite being in the same house, Delilah and Hayley haven't seen each other that much, which is fine but also a bit concerning to Delilah. But she tries to keep those thoughts to herself.

Delilah was debating on spending Christmas back home, but what made her change her mind was when she got a letter from Fred. It didn't really shock her that much but she wasn't expecting it. She opened it, she was shocked that she could read Fred's handwriting. It made her blush a little when it said, Dear Lilah.

She read the last of the letter, as she immediately grabbed some parchment and started on a reply. She hooked it on the owl, when she was done, as until then she packed a small bag of stuff that she would need and or want to bring.

When it did come time for her to leave, it was Molly Weasley who mailed the girl this time which at first made her scared to open it. Delilah's fear when she opened it was that Mrs. Weasley said no, or that the twins never told her that Delilah was coming over for winter break.

It made her happy to open it, as she felt sorta giddy doing it. Molly had arranged for Delilah to be at Kings Cross that day that she was going to be picking her up. So Delilah had kindly ask McGonagall to take her, because she wouldn't have a way to get there. So the Professor was happy to drop her off, and also pick her up when it was time for her to come back. Though Delilah said that Mrs. Weasley would drop her and the twins off. So Minerva was gonna contact Molly about that, just to clarify.

So before Delilah knew it, she was on the way to the Burrow, which Delilah was confused at first but after Molly explaining it to the girl, it started to make sense. Arthur came to pick u the girl also, as he was the person driving the Ford Angela. Molly had also gifted Delilah a little basket of her favorite snacks, (given from Fred and George), so that was a nice surprise when she got into the car.

"Thank you, Mrs. Weasley. I appreciate the snacks." Delilah says to the older woman as she stuffed her mouth with some chocolate.

The said older woman turned to the girl with a wide smile on her face which made Delilah wish that's what her mother would do.

"Of course, dear. The twins gave me a list of stuff they said, you'd might like." Molly says.

"We should be at the Burrow in a couple hours. So feel free to take a nap, if you'd like." Arthur says to the girl as she nods her head.

a couple hours later

Delilah's POV

We are almost to the Burrow, from what Molly and Arthur said. Which is a good thing because I need a nap. I didn't really take a nap. Sadly.

I think it's funny how Mr. Weasley loves Muggles. He asked me a bunch of muggle questions which was fine for me. Mrs. Weasley kept trying to stop him from asking me so many questions, which was fine. I think it's funny. When Harry does come to Hogwarts, he's going to love Molly and Arthur.

When we got to the Burrow, it wasn't I expected. It looked like it was a barn like, house, and it gradually got taller and it looked like it was held by magic. At least that's what Molly said.

"Also dear you're gonna be sharing a bedroom with Ginny. Our youngest." Molly tells me and I nod my head.

"Works for me."

"She's about two years younger than you."

"Oh that's cool."

After we got out of the car, Mr. Weasley offered to take my bags and to bring them in the house which was fine to me, but also new. Typically I would bring my own bags in the house. This is also gonna suck because I don't really talk to people. The only person before I got to Hogwarts that I talked to everyday was Harry. Yes, you have my parents and my brother, but they aren't the easiest person to talk to.

Is it bad I am starting to miss Harry?

I mean for so long, he was the only friend I had. Even though we are cousins, I miss him so much. I just wish there was a way for him to come to Hogwarts now.

"You must be Delilah, Fred has told me so much about you." A girl says as I'm guessing it's Ginny.

"Yeah, that's me. Nice to meet you." I say with a small smile as she then rushed off somewhere.

"I'll go put your stuff in your room." Arthur says as it was relatively quiet in the house. Given what Molly had talked about, is that something to be concerned about?

"So what's your home life like, with the Muggles?" Molly asked as I sighed not knowing where to start.

"Well, where do I start? It's not good but not terrible. The only good part of my life is having my cousin around. The bad part is that my parents and my brother, aren't the easiest people to talk to, or be around with. I just wish I could be the only child, without having to deal with any of them. The other good thing about my life, is realizing that I am a witch." I say to her as she was just looking at me. I lowered my head. "Sorry, I tend to talk fast." I muttered to her as I felt her put her hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry to hear that, I really am. But I am here if you need anything, okay, sweetie. I am one letter away." Molly says as she wiped away my tears.

I wish my mother would do that. I wish that she could do a lot of things, but sadly she doesn't. I wish that she would ask me how I am doing. How I am feeling. How my day was. If I want a hug, but all she cares about is gossip from the neighbors. All my father cares about is my brother, not me, not Harry; just my brother.

Moments later, there was a loud boom sound, which only meant one thing: the twins.

"Fred! George! Get down here right now!" Molly shouted which made me smile.

"Trust me, it happens a lot." A voice said which made me scream a bit.

"The twins? What are they possibly doing?" I ask the kid, I'm guessing is Ron because from what the twins said, Percy is in his room and Bill and Charlie are already moved out.

"Probably making potions or something. Their favorite ones are making bombs. Which mom isn't happy about. As you can tell." The kid says which made me chuckle a little.

Figures.

"What gave it away?" I jokingly asked the kid, and he smiled a little.

"I'm Ron, by the way." He says as he held out his hand, and I shook it.

"I'm Delilah." I say to him, as just then Molly came back with the twins.

"Go and de-gnome the garden, and George, clean the barn." Molly said giving the twins their punishments for the bombs. She walked inside and walked towards me. "I see you've met Ron. Percy is somewhere, and Ginny is in her room helping her father."

"Sounds good to me." I say to her as I look around. "You have a really cool house. Better than mine." I tell her with a small smile.

"Trust me when I say this, it used to not be like this. Then again it was when me and Arthur had Bill and Charlie." Molly says as I nod my head.

"I will be in my room if you need me." Ron says before heading up the stairs.

"Do you need help with anything?" I ask Molly as she seemed taken back by the question. "Like the dishes, cleaning, dusting....anything. I can help, if you want." I offer her as it takes her a couple moments to stop staring at me.

"Why do you wanna help out?" She asked me, as I shrugged my shoulders, it's like a switch went off, as that was my parents' rules. If I go over to anyone's house, offer to help them clean it because I am not doing anything productive. I am just standing here, not doing anything.

"I guess, since I am in your home, and I am not doing anything productive, figured I'd try to help out. Give you one less thing to worry about." I say to her as she still looked confused. Also I think I broke, Mrs. Weasley. She's still staring at me, and it's sorta getting creepy.

"You don't have to, Delilah. I can manage actually, but thank you." Molly says which made me confused.

"What else am I supposed to do?" I asked her as Molly looked like she was thinking about it.

"Wanna set the table for supper?" Molly asked as I nod my head.

"Sure, where is the stuff?" I asked her as she pointed to the cabinet as I went to the cabinet that she pointed it and grabbed the stuff to set the table.

Third Person's POV

It made Molly think what Delilah's home life was like for her, from what she said, it wasn't any good. It was like she was...guilt tripped so much that she was manipulated that she needs to be doing everything and or something to be 'productive'.

Not under Molly watch.

She is gonna love that girl.

She is gonna give that girl all the attention that her little heart desires.

She is gonna give the world to Delilah Dawn Dursley.

She is going to be the mother that Petunia should have be.
