Chapter Nine
Bella's POV
I fought harder, ran faster, climbed higher, and shot better than any of my apponents.
I checked on Tris in between my races, fights, climbs, and shooting matches.
She was struggling, and I tried to help her, but she wouldn't let me help, since she was so stubborn.
In the last ten minutes of the training part of the day, I was assigned to fight Molly.
I went up to the fighting pad where Molly stood.
She was a bit larger in structure, so she was a little bit larger than me.
That gave me an advantage.
She had a scowl on her face, as if trying to unhinge me. Little did she know that it wasn't working.
We circled each other for a few moments before she threw a punch!
I took a step to the left, and when she passed me, I elbowed the side of her torso, hard.
She stepped away, gasping and holding her side, my back still turned towards her.
By the sound of her breathing, she was getting angry.
Anger gives you a little power, agreed, but it also makes you stupid.
She charged right behind me, trying to tackle me to the ground.
I bent down on my knees and let her trip over me.
She landed face first on the ground. I walked to the corner of the pad, waiting.
To not appear weak, she got up and stood there, obviously angry, sweating, and a soft trickle of blood coming from her nose.
"Aren't you going to fight, Stiff?" Molly asked, trying to get a reaction out of me.
I smiled at her and started answer her.
"Don't have to......"
This got her incredibly angry and she once again charged at me.
Just before she could touch me, I stepped to the right.
She flew off the pad and into a rack of weights. She was obviously unconscious.
"....... YOU fought for me."
