I ran. I grabbed my stuff and ran to my place.

My place was an old storage unit, until they made a better one that was more accommodating to their needs.

I have a music player and speakers in the main floor on a small table that has CDs and cassette tapes. Wherever I was in the building, I could hear the music perfectly.

And my place was in the chasm to keep hidden, and the only thing that you can hear from the chasm is the roaring of the water which was so loud, it covered the sound of my music.

I quickly put in a CD that had my favorite song on it and started playing it.

I breathed slowly, trying to regain my exploding heart.

My right foot started tapping to the beat.

My body started to move naturally to the music.

I started to heat up faster so I took off my jacket without stopping my dancing.

I threw the jacket and really started dancing.

The objects around me became props.

What happened earlier was gone.

Slowly, so was everything else from the past few weeks.

I finished my series of dancing with a forward backsault with a full twist before landing on my feet with ease.
