"Hurry up slowpoke! You're taking forever!" Evie yelled at Alex impatiently.

"Just wait! I'm coming!" Alex yelled back from the bathroom.

They were in their hotel room that they rented so they would have a place to stay while they're visiting. Evie glanced at the clock, it was 9:40. They were supposed to be at Queen Jada's house in twenty minutes to practice their powers so they could defeat the evil Lord Richard. They'd just finished their breakfast, fried eggs and bacon, served with a cup of orange juice. Three minutes later, Alex dashed out of the bathroom. He was wearing his regular jeans and a green sweatshirt. He quickly slipped on his black sneakers. Evie on the other hand was wearing a pale pink dress and white ballet flats.

"Would it hurt to wear something a bit more more....formal?"

"What are you talking about?" Alex told Evie, "This is fine,"

Alex glanced down at his outfit. There was a stain on the sleeve of his sweater.

Alex shrugged. Evie shook her head and rolled her eyes. They dashed out of the room in a blink of an eye.

A couple minutes later, they rang the doorbell to Jada's palace. Jada opened it in a jiffy.

"Good morning kids! Come in, Come in." Queen Jada gestured them into their palace. They rushed inside.

"So today, for a few hours, we will practice your magical powers. We must be prepared anytime for that crazy villain." Queen Jada said fiercely.

"Let's get started!" Jada said happily.

They walked to the Queen's backyard. It was crowded with lots of super fun things: A pool, hot tub, zip line, small playground, trampoline, bouncy castle, there was even a large roller coaster by the pool. It was positioned that once the roller coaster ended, you could jump into the incredibly large pool.

They couldn't wait to play in the backyard once they finished power practice. They started practicing in an instant.
