I scanned the book and saw this book was dated about 8 years ago. I read the words...

Day 1
I am working with my father. He has always been into dimensions and so have I but of course it's hard for a 10 year old to understand this kind of thing. Today we are making a portal to another dimension, I don't know where it will send us but it will be cool.

Day 12
We are making good progress in the portal but I feel like something will go wrong. I don't know what but I can sense it

Day 21
The portal is complete and ready. We decided to try it out but it was a disaster. The portal was unstable. I nearly got sucked in but my father pushed me out of the way and he got sucked in.

Day 22
I will do whatever it takes to get the portal open and get my father out. I don't care what it takes I will do it......... But can I? I will rebuild the portal with whatever I have. I would open the portal I KNOW I WILL

Day 35
It's my birthday today and I lock myself in this secret room. The best gift I can get now is an open portal in order to get my father out.

Day 37
I'm making better progress but it's still hard I'm 11 after all. I actually think I should get someone to help me but I'm afraid they might get sucked in just like my dad.

I wasn't even halfway through the book but Jess took the book from me and hid it behind her (along with her book that she got)

"So I guess you read it, you probably don't want to build a portal anymore?" Jess asked

"Why wouldn't I wanna make a portal this won't happen?" I asked her

"How are you sure?!" Jess kind of screamed , was it something I said? (She got upset because he said it wouldn't happen)

"I'm not this just doesn't happen to everyone there's a 5% chance of that happening to us. Why are you upset was it something I said?" I said kind of wondering why Jess (kind of) screamed

"Oh so out of all the people it had to be........... Never mind. How could you not know you read this book!" Jess scolded a bit while showing me the book

"Ummmmmmmmmm?" I suddenly feel so stupid for not knowing what she was talking about

"Ughhhhh! I was that girl!" She said pissed

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I didn't know" I said, now I feel bad

"It's fine you just didn't know, now let's start" she said and we started

I just nodded and we started the project. I swear I just wanted to hug her but I couldn't, I wouldn't I just can't

Jess's POV

That was easy (what it's minecraft just craft a portal gun). I still can't believe I just blabbered my past to Jin. I never even told anyone that. It's just there's something different about him........... I like him

"There were done" I said

"Who's going to keep it?" Jin asked but Before I was about to answer I heard a knock on the door

"Wait a minute" I said and smiled as I went to open the door

IT WAS THE GIRLS. If they see me with Jin they might think something is going on with us and they might assume.... Things. I mean I do like him but yeah that's not the point........... I ran to the living room and told Jin to hide

"Jin you need to hide the girls are here" I said and pushed him into the closet

"Woah wait" Jin said but I shushed him and closed the door

I walked to the door and saw the girls and Cluckarina standing there

"What took you so long to answer?" Alesa asked

"I was upstairs fixing my room. Now come in" I said, that was the only thing I thought of

"Ok sure"Unica said while the others just nodded and smiled

They went in and started heading for the living room where Jin was.

"Oh you and Jin are done with your project. Where did you guys do it?" Shelby said

"Oh uh here" I said, I couldn't lie to Shelby she would find out really quick, I'm a bad liar

"Oh well Sky did all the work and told me to do whatever I was doing" Alesa said

"Well I had fun doing the project with Ross"Shelby said while twirling her hair

"Ooooohhhhhhhh someone has a crush" Unica said as Shelby blushes

"Why don't you guys go upstairs and I will meet you there" I suggested

"Ok sure" Alesa said as they went up

I ran to the closest where Jin was and opened the door

"Ok I'll keep the project see ya at school bye" I said as I was pushing him out

"Oh ok bye" he said as I closed the door on him

As I was going up I heard a button being pushed. As I got up I was shocked to see the secret room open.

"Hey Jess what's this?" Unica said

"I......uh....its just..."I didn't know what to say, suddenly Cluckarina ran in the secret room clucking like
crazy with Shelby following behind her.

"Cluckarina come back!" Shelby screamed behind her

" wait don't go in there th-" I said

"Jess what the heck is this?" Alesa asked confused

" I'll explain later but now we have to get Shelby out of there" I said

I ran into the room with the girls following behind me, but we were too late. Inside the room I saw an active portal sucking small things in and in front of it was Shelby hugging Cluckarina.

"Jess what do we do" Unica said

"I don't know! This never happened before" I said panicked

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DONT KNOW YOU BUILT IT" Alesa screamed

"Shelby get out of there!!" I screamed ignoring what Alesa said but shelby just sat there not saying anything

"Jess what do we do!" Unica said As the portal was about to suck Shelby in.

Without thinking I ran in and pushed Shelby out of the way and the portal sucked me in. The last thing I heard was the girls screaming my name as .....everything....went...black

Shubble's POV

I saw an active portal and Cluckarina pecking a wire. I got her away but the portal suddenly lit up really bright. I didn't know what happened but I suddenly froze. I didn't know what happened but I suddenly got pushed by someone(technically she never heard anything the girls said). I turned around and saw Jess getting sucked into the portal then the portal just deactivated. I couldn't believe what I just saw.

"What do we do!!!!!????" Unica asked, she was shocked as well

"There's only one person who knows a lot about this and its Jin" Alesa said

"Well let's go get him" I said

"Good thing the sky army live across the street" Unica said as we ran out

~at the sky army's door~

I knocked on the door and heard a certain someone say "just a sec" then a bunch of things falling. After a few seconds Ross answered the door

"H-hey sh-Shelby" Ross stuttered

" Ok first its shubble not Shelby, second stop stuttering, th-" I said

"Ok tell us where Jin is sloth!"Alesa said interrupting me

"I'm not a sloth" Ross whined

"Yeah yeah whatever sloth where's Jin" Alesa said

"He's in his lab I can show you where his lab is m'lady" Ross said extending his hand

"No th-"Alesa said before I elbowed her and I said "sure"

We went in and Ross showed us to jin's lab and opened the door

"Shouldn't you knock first?" I asked him

"Nope" Ross said

We went down and saw Barney playing with the hover board with sky and Jin putting finishing touches on his new invention

"Yo Jin the girls are here" Ross said and Jin came over

"Hey girls what are you doing here?" Jin asked

"We need your help" I said

"Well what do you need and by the way where's Jess"Jin asked

"That's why we need your he-" Alesa said before she got interrupted by the guys screaming "weeeeeee"

"Will you boys just shut up and come with us!!!" Unica screamed and did her thing

"Y-yes mam" the guys said

~in the secret room~

Jin's POV

Jess is missing this portal must have something to do with it. I looked around and found the problem one of the wires that kept the portal stable was pecked at.

"I found the problem" I said

"What is it?"Shelby asked me

"Did Cluckarina peck the wires?" I asked

"Um yeah why?"she asked Me again

"She pecked the wires and it made the portal unstable"I said

"Well fix it already!!!" Alesa said

"That's the problem I can't" I said

"What do you mean you can't" Unica said

"She used redstone wires"(it's just something that I came up with) I said

"Where do we get that?" Shelby said

"It's really rare to get it. Oh but lucky for you I used it for my new invention I'll just remove it and buy some more" I said

"Why isn't that yours?" Unica said

"It is but I would do anything to help Je...... I mean you guys" I said

"Ok great"

~3 hours later~

I was still fixing up the portal while the others were sleeping. I can't sleep when I know that Jess might be in trouble. I turn around and saw the guys and the girls on the couch and the tv turned on Barney was on the edge and Unica was laying on Barney's shoulder, sky was beside Alesa and Shelby and Ross laying on the floor, then I whispered "I guess my ships are sailing" and went back to work

~3 more hours later~
It's 2:06am I just won't stop until I get this done. I just need to put the last wire in place and I'm done. There finished now I wake up the guys and girls but before that I'm going to take a picture. I'm showing this to them and to Jess this is just priceless. After I took the picture

"Yoooooooo bruhhhh I'm done!!!" I screamed and the others woke up.

We got the stuff we need, basically it's just the phones, and got ready to save Jess.
I stepped in the portal first and ....... Everything......... Went.......... Black
