The money was missing. Who knew where it was. "It was here. It was just here. Why is it not here? No! No! No! No! Oh! Shit. Shit. Shit. It was here. I swear to God." Jamal said to us with his hands on his head.

"Yeah, here we go again." Ruby said to him.

"Another RollerWorld delusion." Monse said to him and I looked at her and nodded.

"Jamal, it's hard to believe." I said to him. Especially when there was no money.

"No, no, no. I can prove it. Look. We'll find the perp." Jamal said and he sat on the bed. Phone out. He put the CCTV footage from his room on. That's when we saw the money.

"Holy shit! Where did you find it?" Monse asked him as we saw the money.

"Wait, the green's real?" Ruby asked him.

"RollerWorld's real." Cesar said and it was hard to believe that this was real.

"Wait, what was that?" Ruby asked as we saw something on the video.

"I don't want to ask." I said to them all.

"Yeah, what are you doing?" Cesar asked Jamal.

"Nothing. Not important. Okay, okay, we got something." Jamal said and that's when he forwarded to later on in the day. That's when we saw his parents. "My parents, we are completely disrespecting my privacy- -" Jamal said as we watched his dad lie down on the bed.

"And about to get it in on your bed." Cesar said as he watched the video.

"No, they're not about to get it in. Oh, my god. No. No, no, no, no, no. Stop. Don't do that. No, no, no, no, no, no!" Jamal said and he let out a disgusted scream. That's when we all stood up.

"That took a turn." I said to him as we all looked back at where we just sat. I couldn't wait to change.

"Here, take it. I can't- -Can't do this." Jamal said as he passed his phone to Ruby.

"Ugh!" Ruby said and there was no way I could look at the footage. "Ugh, okay. It's over. Okay. I'm never gonna be able to look at them again." Ruby said as he passed the phone back to Jamal.

"Wait. Why is she in my closet?" Jamal asked and that's when he looked at us. "Mom?!" He shouted and headed out of the room. That's when we heard him scream again. "Oh, my god! Aren't you guys tired already?" We heard Jamal shout. I didn't even want to know.

"Do you think they were?" Ruby asked and I looked at him.

"I don't even want to know or ask." I said to him. That's when we took the comforter off of Jamal's bed and sat back down. Jamal then returned.

"Why is that down there?" Jamal asked us.

"Better safe than sorry." Ruby said to us and that's was true.

"Understandable. Okay, so I've cracked the case. The money's at the Goodwill. Let's roll." Jamal said and he snapped his fingers. It was dark out.

"What? We can't go now." Ruby said as he stood up.

"Yeah, Jamal, think about it." Monse said and that's when we all started to stand up.

"You're right. It's a full moon. But don't worry, Monse. Werewolves don't like dark meat." Jamal said and I just shook my head.

"It's not the moon. It's New Years in Freeridge. Drunk drivers and drunk people with guns." Monse said to him. We'd just be putting ourselves in danger.

"Man, no one's hitting up the Goodwill at this hour. Good night." Ruby said and we started leaving. I was the last.

"We'll go tomorrow. First thing." I said to him and then started to head out.

"You all suck. And I hate you. See you tomorrow morning? Oh-eight-hundred hours. Don't be late." Jamal said and that's when we started to head home. That's when Cesar went to walk Monse back. That's when I called Oscar.

"Everything okay, Mana?" He asked me and I was still outside the Turner's house.

"Can you pick me up from Jamal's?" I asked him and I was hoping he would.

"I'll be there as quick as I can. It's not safe for you out there." He said to me and I smiled.

"Thank you." I said and he hung up. It wasn't long until he arrived taking me home. I couldn't tell him about the money. He'd never believe me. When the morning came around. I went to get Ruby.

"Mrs. Martinez, I'm here for Ruby." I said to her and she looked at me. That's when she let me in.

"Good luck. He's not leaving the house. He refuses to." She said to me and I looked at her.

"Let me try." I said to her and she looked at me.

"You can try. But it won't work." She said to me and I headed towards Ruby's room. I knocked on the door.

"Go away." He said to me and I opened the door.

"Not happening." I said to him and that's when he looked at me.

"I'm not going." He said to me and I looked at him. He was still led in bed.

"Why not? It'll do you good." I said to him and I looked at him.

"Because what's the point. That money could be anywhere. Might not even be in that blue box anymore." He said to me and I looked at him shaking my head.

"It might not be. But, we've got to do it. For Jamal." I said to him and he looked at me.

"That doesn't change anything. Just go. Please, Y/n." He said to me and I put my hands up.

"Fine I'm going. But I'll let you tell them you're not going." I said to him and that's when I saw Mrs. Martinez.

"No luck." She said and I shook my head.

"None at all." I said to her and she looked at me.

"Don't take it to heart. You know how hard it's been on him." She said to me and I looked at her and nodded.

"I know. It's been hard on all of us." I said to her. We said our goodbyes and that's when I started to head to Goodwill. That's when I saw Spooky.

"You don't look too happy." He said to me as I walked past the house.

"Well, I just went to see Ruby and he's in the anger stage. Doesn't want to do anything." I said to him and that's when I got a text.

"That him?" He asked me and I nodded.

"He'll be coming past any minute. Can you talk to him?" I asked him and he looked at me.

"You want me to talk to your friend?" He asked and I looked at him and nodded.

"Please." I said to him and I gave him a look.

"I'll do it. Because it's you." He said to me with a smile. He had a soft spot for me.

"Thank you." I said and that's when I moved on. Walking down the street. To the Goodwill. That's when I saw Monse, Jamal and Cesar get into a cop car. This wasn't good. That's when I started walking away. I couldn't be caught. Especially when I've done nothing. That's when I got a call from Jamal.

"Abort mission. Abort. Don't come to us." Jamal said and I knew exactly what that meant. He then hung up before I could say anything. I knew exactly what that meant. But I had nothing to do in the meantime. Instead I headed home. I couldn't do much. Later on I could smell food. When I looked out, I saw Ruby and Spooky cooking. It was best to just leave them. Later on I had a call from Jamal.

"Hello?" I answered, who knew who this was.

"I'm out. I've got the money as well." He said to me and I smiled.

"At least it didn't go to evidence." I said to him and I could tell that he was close to home.

"I'm glad about that. I've got to go." He said to me and I smiled.

"Okay, keep the money safe." I said to him and that's when he hung up. I was just hoping that tomorrow, everything would be better.
