ADHD is killer, for everyone

3rd Person POV:

It was only two days into summer vacation, and Camp Half-Blood was buzzing with chatter. The campers were making their way to the Dining Pavilion, in not-so-straight lines, with the exception of the Athena Cabin. One could hardly hear themselves think over the ruckus. The chats ranged from shades of nail polish to an announcement being made and back to nail polish. A rumor had leaked out about a huge announcement being made by Chiron, and those were usually the best kinds. The tension and anticipation hanging in the air was thick enough to be sliced apart by the wave of a hand.

Dinner, instead of taking forever to finish, was eaten with the most refined speed. This was much to the pleasure of the Cleaner Harpies, who were able to clean the dishes quicker (They had social lives too, you know). By the time Chiron was finished eating, every set of eyes was gazing at him, with the exception of the Stoll brothers. They were looking at something in their laps, which did not bode well. Any campers that may have seen would certainly stay out of their paths for the next week or so.

Chiron, well aware of the rumor (for he had started it), stood up slowly. Every face in the room lit up, and focused even more intently on him. Taking his time, Chiron cleared his throat and dusted off the invisible dirt on his shirt. Raising his arms above his head, towards the campers, he finally spoke.

"Campers!" His voice boomed. "I believe you are all aware of the announcement I am about to tell you." Legs started to bounce, and fingers started to tap. Chiron could see that if he didn't finish soon, he would lose his students entirely to their ADHD. "Annabeth Chase is building Cabins for the minor gods and shrines. Jason Grace is helping honor the wishes of many minor gods. Due to all the construction, our funds have dropped significantly. We will now be sharing the land with another Camp for an unspecified amount of time. Everything east of the Lake and its rivers will be theirs, though we can use things such as the Climbing wall, the arts and crafts area, the Amphitheater, the volleyball court, and, of course, the Oracle's cave. They will need permission from myself, Dionysus, or a Cabin leader to cross over our side. On the occasion that they do cross, the separate cabins are allowed to go to the necessary measures to return them back to their Camp. Some Capture the Flag games will be arranged with the other camp, and we must use the utmost caution. Due to the proximity of the camp, there is no mist. Since many of them will be mortals, nothing will be exposed. Camp dismissed."

Everyone was flabbergasted. Share the camp? This summer was bound to be more difficult than the rest.

I promise that I'll be back soon!
