On the way back Artemis talked me into stopping for ice cream and we picked up a double scoop of strawberry for Dick and a 30 scoop for Wally. I was amazed that someone could eat that much before it melts but Artemis swears that it's possible. The lady behind the ice cream counter acted as if it was an everyday thing. When we got back to the limo Alfred just shook his head and smiled.

" The bucket is for master Wallace I presume."

"Yeah It's only 30 scoops instead of 40. I wonder if he'll notice?" Artemis said.

"Without a doubt. The cone is for Master Dick?"

"Of course!"

"How are you settling into this wild family, Mistress Sonya?"

"To be honest Alfred, I feel kind of out of place. I'm really not used to this at all, spending money on anything that I want."

"I do believe master Dick was the same way."
"Really? He was always really good at adapting to things. Me, not so much."

Artemis spoke up. "It takes a little time to get used to it, I live in an apartment with my mom in the bad part of Gotham."

"Really?! I mean you don't look like someone who would-. Maybe I should just stop talking."
" No, No it's ok i get what you mean."

We pulled into the manor and I smiled. I can't wait to show Dick my new clothes.

I practically threw myself out of the car, grabbing my bags of clothing on the way. Artemis followed me with the ice cream and we sprinted to the door. Artemis managed to beat me and she kicked the door open, considering that the door was left unshut so the kick didn't do any damage.

"Yo Birdflash! I didn't spend my money on you ice cream for it to melt! Especially you Baywatch this thing was 35 dollars!"
"Birdflash?" I asked confused.

"Long story, I'll tell you eventually." She said with a slight smirk.

I could hear the boys steadily running down the stairs then I heard a Crash and the boys came tumbling down the stairs.

The boys groaned and sat up.

"You said something about ice cream?" Wally said cracking a small grin.

Artemis smirked and handed him the bucket of the now melting icecream.

"Sweet!"

Dick smiled and took his cone from Artemis.

"How'd you know that strawberry was my favorite Arti?"
"Oh, I didn't, It was Sonya who picked it out." Artemis said motioning to me.

I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly. " Umm yeah, I remembered when we were in the circus and we would always get strawberry and I thought you might still like it." I could feel my face heat up because of my sudden rush of nervousness.

Dick chuckled which made me feel better.

"Wally and I have a surprise for you."

"Um, Okay."

"Wally did you remember the blindfold?" Dick asked.

"Dang. I knew I forgot something."

"Okay well it looks like i'm going to have to cover your eyes."

"Why can't I cover my own eyes?" I asked.

"You'll peak. Duh." Dick concluded. Artemis took my bags from me and Dick finished off his ice cream come and Wally went to throw away his empty bucket. I didn't even see him eat it!

Wally ran back into the room. "Okay time for your surprise!"

I laughed at Wally's excitement. Dick pulled me up the stairs, Wally and Arty in tow, and stopped at the closed door to my room. Dick stepped behind me and covered my eyes with his hands. He pulled me back a little so my back was against his chest. I did not expect to feel a warm sensation spread through my body and my breath hitched.

"You okay Sonya?"

"Y-Yeah just anxious."
"We could let you see your surprise if Wally would walk a little faster." He said that a little louder towards the end, directing his voice down the hall.

"Sheesh Dick, a girl can only walk so fast." I heard Artemis complain as she and Wally came to stand by us.

"Ready?" Dick asked.

"Ready."

I heard the creak of the door opening and with my eyes still covered, Dick nudged me to walk forward. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 steps and Dick uncovered my eyes.
