"Ooo that's cute Arty!"
"You really think so?" She said twirling in the mirror.
"Would I lie to you."
"Point taken."
Artemis and I were shopping for dresses to wear at tonight's Gala.
Her dress was a two piece emerald formal dress that looked amazing on Artemis.

I convinced her to get the dress and now it was my turn to be shoved in a dressing room.

After an hour I was about to give up and just wear the dress I wore to the last gala when Arty threw a royal blue ball gown over the door. I put it on and walked out of the dressing room to look in the mirror. It was beaded at the top with cap sleeves. I spun in a circle and the skirt spread out. I let out a small giggle and Arty smirked.

"Dick is going to drop dead." She chuckled under her breath. I blushed but pretended that I didn't hear her.

"I'm getting this one" I nodded.

After paying for the dresses we went to Barbara's house to get ready. Babs greeted us at the door with a bright smile. Her hair was already curled into loose ringlets and her makeup was finished.

We fallowed  her up to her room and Babs began pinning my hair into some sort of up do that she wouldn't let me see.
Since my first gala me and the girls have made it a game. We aren't allowed to se what we look like until we look at the photos.  We finished getting ready and piled into the car. Time to have some fun!
