He Is Here!

The elevator door opens, and Jungkook looks back at Yoongi. "What? What did you see?"

As he steps into the elevator, Yoongi stands there, staring down the hall toward his studio. Jungkook pulls his hyung onto the elevator, and before the door closes, he pops his head out for a quick look down the hall.

"I don't see anything, hyung. What did you see?"

Jungkook imagines the loading circle spinning above Yoongi's head as he waits for an answer.

Yoongi is trying to process what has happened since he entered his Genius Lab 2. Why did the door shut? Where did that voice come from? And... who is she?

"Hyung?" Jungkook asks, putting his hand on Yoongi's shoulder and teasing him. "You look like you've seen a ghost." He laughs.

Yoongi pushes his hand away with a playful grimace. "I don't know what I saw. It's only us in the building for now, but I thought I saw someone... a woman."

With a look of surprise, Jungkook says, "But no one is here but us until later, when security comes for the night, and Jun drops off some of our things, right? Should we tell the others and look for her? What if she's a sasaeng, a stalker? What if she goes into our rooms!?"

Jungkook grabs Yoongi's arm, unaware of how tightly he is gripping him.

Yoongi can see that Jungkook is starting to panic; his breathing becomes rapid. At one of their concerts several years ago, a fan was found in Jungkook's room going through his clothes. Since then, Jungkook has had bouts of PTSD when staying at hotels or new dorms.

"Calm down, Bun. I'm probably just seeing things. I haven't had a single catnap today; I'm tired."

Mentioning his lack of naps helps to calm Jungkook down. He knows how much his hyung loves his naps.

When they reach the rooftop, Yoongi entices Jungkook into a one-on-one game of basketball to help take his mind off the stalker and distract himself from the voice he heard over his headset earlier and the frightening sight he saw in the hall.

You feel a surge of thrill! Yoongi heard you! Once Jungkook pulls him out of the studio, you quickly notice that the equipment is still on. Should I? Standing hesitantly in front of his equipment, you decide, this could be my only chance.

You step closer to the microphone and push the button, saying, "Yoongi, Marie... help... me, please."

That is all the strength you have at this moment. You look around his studio before leaving, feeling desperation flooding you. You know... he's close by! You can feel it!

As you enter the hallway, you hear Yoongi exclaim, "What the hell!?"

You weren't expecting him to see you, let alone hear you earlier. It felt as if your eyes locked for a split second.

You break eye contact, gasping as suddenly, HE is here! Quickly, you flee as the darkness closes in on you, wailing a terrified "Beaahhtch!"

You rush down the hall in the direction you always go at this time of day – the same room, the same time, day after day. The room that is now part of Jungkook's apartment.

You silently plead in desperation before disappearing, "Yoongi, please help me!"

Before being pulled into the elevator, Yoongi saw a wisp of a girl just outside his studio door, their eyes locking in mutual surprise.

Right as he shouts, "What the hell!?" a large black shape emerges, and the wispy image of the girl disappears as the dark shadow seems to give chase.

Later on the rooftop, while taking a break from playing basketball with Jungkook, Yoongi sits on one of the benches, thinking about what happened earlier.

Jungkook went to jump in the pool with Jimin and Taehyung as Jin, J Hope, and Namjoon came back out on the rooftop carrying food for the grill.

Observing the quickly approaching evening sky, Yoongi is lost in his thoughts. There are no such things as ghosts . . . right?

His phone goes off, interrupting his thoughts. "Hello?"

"Min Yoongi, it's Jun. Cho, Yung, and I left everyone's stuff in the lobby. Sorry, but we won't be back until morning to help you move any of it. I just wanted to let you know it's there if you need anything from it tonight."

Confused that they would do that, he asks, "Why didn't you let us know you were here? We would've come help take things to our apartments."

"I'm really sorry, Min Yoongi, but the door kept sliding open and close, and when Yung tried to slip through, he was suddenly slammed between them.  Those types of doors have a safety sensor to prevent the door from prematurely closing on people, but something just went haywire with it."

Very concerned, Yoongi asks, "Is he alright? Are you guys okay?"

"I've never seen one slam shut so fast.  Cho and I are fine, just shaken up. Once we forced the door open, we had to take Yung to the hospital. It broke his arm. I thought I would let you know that we think there is an electrical issue with the door. I already called and left a work order for maintenance to check it out, but they said they couldn't get here till morning.  I was able to get the remote door lock to work, and it is locked now. I left a message for security to use the back door tonight when they arrive and to make sure the front door stays locked."

What he didn't tell Yoongi was the three of them saw a blur of a girl being chased by a dark shadow figure across the lobby. Standing in shock, the dark shadow started rushing toward them. Yung had gotten slammed between the sliding doors, screaming in pain. They knew his arm was broken. No one's arm bends that way.

"Okay, thanks for letting us know. I will tell the others some of our things are there. Tell Yung we are very sorry this happened and not to worry. We will cover his medical bills."

After the call, Yoongi is just stunned. What the hell is going on?' He starts to walk toward the others to let them know.

Suddenly, he hears Jungkook yelling as he frantically climbs out of the pool, "LOOK! LOOK! What the hell is that!?"
