The shock of what had happened had finally hit all of the remaining test subjects, after looking through the files and talking to each other. Jaxon and Emily, it was pretty clear, were under some sort of mind control. Tiger and Kamari were turned evil by their powers. Jared, on the other hand, was just siding with the team he believed would win. Now, they had no clue what to do.

Westley had healed the wounds of the injured members, at the cost of his own pain. Toby, now seen as the de facto leader of the group, had begun making a plan, and eventually shared it with everyone. They all hunkered down to wait, rest, and mull over the plan.

Now, it's important to remember that while Jaxon was under mind control, he still retained the intelligence and strategic planning skills he had formerly used to help the group. So while Toby had been making a plan, Jaxon had too.

He had known that the group would eventually have to rest, especially with the emotional strain on everyone as well. So as the group began to fall asleep, Jaxon and Emily were spying on them from the shadows.

"Do you see a guard?" she asked him, perched on top of a small ledge that he had shielded from view with darkness. Jaxon nodded, and looked away from the scope of his sniper rifle.

"Nathan, and Maya. Should I take one out, Father?" He was speaking into a comms system, waiting for direction from the man who had placed the mind control device in his brain in the first place. If Toby had seen it, it would have made him sick.

After a few moments of silence, Jaxon nodded. He laid down on the ledge, brought the scope of the rifle to his eye, and rested his finger on the trigger. He was aiming at Maya.

He pulled the trigger. However, as he did so, his arms jerked abruptly to the side, and the bullet slammed into the stone wall of the Duat. Nathan sounded the alarm, and they began to wake up the sleeping members.

Jaxon stood up, and turned to look behind him, fuming. "Pokechu! What in the name of Osiris are you doing?! You just compromised the mission!" The indigo-haired man stepped away from the wall he had been leaning against, eyes burning with anger. He shoved Jaxon back into Emily, causing him to drop the sniper rifle.

"Not. Maya. We had a deal." Tiger growled. He picked up the dropped rifle, and shoved it back into Jaxon's hands. Then he unsheathed his khopesh, and stepped to the edge of the ledge. "Now, let's get this over with." In one step, he was off the ledge, and landing on the ground. The first battle had begun.

Alright guys, first battle of the roleplay, isn't that exciting?! Anyways, basic rules, just keep things reasonable. If I or any of the admins tells you something is not okay to do, don't argue. Also, no killing people unless I say so. (Trust me, I am willing to say so). I already told Tal the basics, so if you have any questions and I'm not on, feel free to ask her (not the murder one though). Let's begin!
