Sleepily blinking your eyes open. You get the feeling something quite strange is about to go down.

"Welcome to the Orphanage little one! You will be well cared for here. But there are some rules you must follow. Come, you can have a cookie while I tell you all of them!"

Rule 1. Leave your shoes by the front door, you won't be needing them.
Rule 2. Make friends with the other children, you are safer when you aren't alone.
Rule 3. The toys are meant to be played with, don't be sad if one goes missing! Sometimes the fairies hide them.
Rule 4. Snack time is at 3:00, arrive on time. It makes Parent unhappy when children are late.
Rule 5. Mind your manners. Parent will not tolerate rude children.
Rule 7. Stay indoors unless with an Adult. It is dangerous outside.

"Oh what's that? Who am I? Oh! Silly me, I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Nurse. I take care of little ones like you when you first arrive, or get hurt. If you ever need anything, don't be afraid to ask!" Knock, knock, knock.
Nurse turned her head. "It is time for you to enter now, Big Sibling will guide you from here on, and help you meet some other children. Take care now!

Dazed, you shook your head. What was going on? Are you crazy?...or did that lady have a daisy for a head. You can't remember how you got here, you can't remember anything for that matter. With a final wave of goodbye, Nurse closed the door that led to a large playroom.

Seemingly out of no where, a tall figure began walking toward you. As you looked up at the towering person, your eyes met with their....eye. You wanted to say something, but the sight had stunned you silent. The person's head...was just one large eye. They crouched down so that you didn't have to look up so high, and spoke in a kind but firm voice. "My name is Big sibling, I'll take care of you most of the time." You just blinked as Big Sibling took your hand and led you over to a small group of children. "Why don't you introduce yourself, then you all can play together." Big sibling said before noticing a couple of children arguing and walking over to break up the fight.

You turn back to the kids in front of you, willing yourself not to make a face at the..unsettling appearance of the people here. Two of them ran of giggling and chattering, leaving only two playing at a pretend stovetop. Finally, one of the children turned to you and spoke. She looked mostly human expect for the floating scribble that floated above her neck. She was wearing a rainbow striped long sleeve shirt with some overalls that had paint splatters on them. "I'm Olivia, don't bother us." You were a bit taken aback by the snippy tone that Olivia spoke in. "Oh..sorry- You started to say before being interrupted by the other child, "Don't listen to her! She's just annoyed that the others didn't want to play with us."  The one speaking to you now had one of those..hypnotic illusions for a head. And instead of human arms xe had monster like limbs, with claws at the end. Yet xe still managed to hold a teacup in xyr hands in an almost delicate manner. "My name is Dizzy. I bet you can't guess why that's my name." Xe gave a small laugh that brought a smile to your face. Dizzy wore a multicolor-blocked sweater with a pair of ripped dark denim jeans. Xe held out a hand to shake, and you shook it as you spoke. "I'm _____!" And you hoped that you had found a friend to help you navigate this strange new world.
