ALRIGHT SO. Gloria is based off a woman I actually know. However, I needed a good name for the character. I wracked my brain a bit, looking up female Spanish names... nothing was clicking with me.

As always, I was listening to music as I wrote/brainstormed. Well, this song came on, and I started rocking out...and it dawned on me, GLORIA! PERFECT!

So, thank you, Green Day, for naming my character. <3
