The next day Scarlet had plans to go shopping with Rebekah but as Scarlet made her way down the stairs, Rebekah approached "You're up early!" She started. "Change of plans, Sister" Elijah shouted from the third floor. "Seems we've spoiled your day, Scarlet" Klaus said with the biggest grin on he's face.

Elijah made his way down the stairs and said "Looks like you're coming with me Miss Rose" Elijah was smiling and knew his brother would question him. So he did "A Rose, Elijah in the French Quater? You must be kidding, the Rose family was killed in 1996"said Klaus confused like hell but yet held his grin. "Yes brother but this is the daughter of Emily" with that Elijah took her arm and they left leaving Rebekah laughing at the confusion Elijah put Klaus in.

Scarlet's point of view:
Where was he taking me, he must know that I don't like running into a fight with my eyes closed. Elijah stopped quite suddenly as we approached the main streets of New Orleans, shops as far as the eye could see. Elijah turned around "So where shall we go first?" He said looking carelessly at the street.

We looked for hours and Elijah picked up some outfits that he had already chosen for me.

He knew my style and you could clearly tell. When Elijah Mikaelson chooses your clothes then they are designed to your personality and also very expensive.

Outside look at the two of them:
Elijah was blown away by how stunning she looked in the outfits he had chosen and she loved them so much.

Scarlet and Elijah returned to the compound and Elijah showed Scarlet to her new room, not the one she had spent this morning in. Scarlet was astonishing by the elegance of the room and turned and hugged Elijah, Elijah couldn't help but hug her back but was too afraid to speak his feelings for her.

But Elijah was in love and he could never deny it. Hayley had once broken him but Scarlet had shown him how to mend himself. He was ready to love again. At that moment Scarlet pulled away for the hug and Elijah said in his noble tone "I'll leave you to get settled and would you accompany me to the charity ball this evening?" Scarlet nodded "I would love to but I have nothing to wear!" "Here" Elijah replied and handed Scarlet a rather heavy bag. "Rebekah will come and collect you this evening." Elijah smiled then he disappeared from the room.

Later that evening Scarlet opened the bag and laid out the items on to the bed she was amazed by Elijah's style.

Scarlet slowly made her way down the stairs and approached Rebekah. Rebekah looked stunning in a black on the shoulder and accompanied with a black bow at the back. But Rebekah was taken away by the beauty of Scarlet. She wore a navy blue wrapped sleeveless dress which outlined all of Scarlet's curves. To accompany the dress she wore gold accessories such as a leaf necklace and stilettos with a clutch. Elijah had picked a beautiful outfit. Of which she dressed up with a bracelet and earrings.

Elijah:
Rebekah had informed me that Scarlet had arrived but yet she was nowhere to be found. Where could she have gone? I can't let anyone hurt her! I can't and I won't!

Rebekah:
I had personally escorted Scarlet to the charity ball as a favour for Elijah. But the two of us had been separated from the moment we both stepped through the door. Elijah was scared and so was I, I had let Scarlet slip out of my sight. If something was to happen to her, I wouldn't help but blame myself...

Scarlet:
Rebekah had kindly provided me with a ride to the charity ball. Yet as soon as the two of us arrived I was pulled aside by Klaus. "Marcel has requested you're presence upstairs in the upper wing." He said, this was the first time Scarlet had seen him since Elijah had left him confused this morning. "Fine" I said in a careless manner. "What does the man want" I said trekking my way up the stairs as I followed the self proclaimed 'The Devil in Disguise'.

Hayley:
As I trekked my way through the enormous crowd gathering in the main drawing room. Elijah stood full of anger as if he was going to explode. I rushed over to see what was wrong but he just ignored me, then continued to talk with Rebekah. "I can't see her" Elijah said to Rebekah, he was so worried but who was he looking for? If only he would talk to me. "Who?" I said trying to find who he was talking about. "I'm sure she'll turn up, she can look after herself, you know this" Elijah calmed down and in he's softest tone he said "Hello Hayley, do join us" Finally.

Scarlet:
Klaus lead me to the upper wing and there sat Marcel, he stared blankly at me as he held a sixth of a glass of whiskey. "Welcome home!" He said shocked to see that Klaus was not lying about my survival. "Home is far from the name for it" I said in a sarcastic tone, then he stared at me and laughed. "Well let's go join the party" he smirked and we made our way to the stairs in the main drawing room. Marcel grabbed a champagne flute and drew the attention of the room. "Welcome dear friends, I guess you're all wondering why we held this ball tonight!" He looked back at me and smiled "I would like to welcome home a long lost hope of our dear town!" He turned and offered a hand, then he guided me halfway down the stairs. "I would like to toast to the return of Scarlet Rose, the daughter of Emily Rose, we all thought she perished in a fire 24 years ago and now she has returned to our beautiful city!"

Everyone applauded and Elijah stood smiling continuously at me, he could tell that I was blushing and that made him smile even more.

Elijah:
There she was, even more beautiful than I could imagine. Marcel began his speech but I didn't quite know what he said; she had imprinted her beautiful face deeper into my thoughts than before. As Scarlet made her way halfway down the stairs, she caught sight of me and began to smile and blush. I took notice of her blushing and raised my glass for Marcel's toast. "To Scarlet" we all drank and I walked to the bottom of the stairs where I awaited Scarlet to join me, then said "Let's commence the evening with a centuries old waltz" I laid out my hand and Scarlet made her way down the other half of the stairs. Everyone made their way to the ballroom and Scarlet took my hand and we followed.

Scarlet:
We danced for hours and became the last people on the dance floor. Everyone stared at the elegance of the two of us dancing. As the last song ended, I curtsied and Elijah bowed then kissed my hand. Everyone applauded then we moved back into the main drawing room.

We spent hours at the charity ball but I was planning to leave by midnight so I could wake up for an interview tomorrow but Elijah was so handsome and kind. He lead me out to his car but drove me to his house. As we stumbled through the door we rushed upstairs and the rest is history...

Scarlet woke around 7:00 and slowly tried to make her way out of bed before Elijah awoke. But Elijah was already awake and started to caress Scarlet's neck "Where are you going, Beautiful?" He said it almost made her not want to leave the bed. "I'll see you later, I have some things I need to do" She said avoiding Elijah's original question. He got up for the bed and smiled. Then reached for his trousers and throw on his shirt "I'll see you later, my love"

Scarlet was changed and made her way downstairs, it was okay nobody else was up so she carefully made her way out. There was no time for breakfast.

Scarlet made her way to the art gallery where she intended to work as the new artist but she had to meet the owners first. The owners were fairly elderly and accepted the outstanding effort gone into making Scarlet's masterpieces. They accepted her in with open arms, Scarlet could tell that she was going to be sticking around for along time.

The owners had let Scarlet go home to prepare for her first day tomorrow and also Scarlet had to pick up art supplies for tomorrow.

Later that evening:
Scarlet had made her way to the local bar and out of the corner of her eye she saw Andrea, or so she had thought. As she walked towards the woman she released that it was only Hayley. But they looked so similar. "Hayley" Scarlet said requesting a private conversation. "Yes I need to talk to you Scarlet" Scarlet was blown away what could Hayley possibly need to say. They walk away from the crowd by the bar and made their way to a table. "You know me" Hayley said determined to open closed doors. "You know me by the name Andrea, am I right?" Scarlet nodded and Hayley and Scarlet stood and went for a sisterly hug. "It's been too long, why do you go by the name Hayley?" Scarlet said relieved that she had found her long lost friend. "I was adopted so they changed my name" Hayley replied "You have to look after Elijah he needs you more than he thinks he does" Scarlet was shocked but she was possibly right.

Elijah:
'We all are living in a dream'

Elijah was blown away by the elegance of Scarlet but there was no way she was real, she was like an angel. The heavens had given Elijah a chance of happiness.

Rebekah:
'We will learn to love again'

Rebekah thought it would be impossible for Elijah to find someone to love. But she never thought that they would be seeing Scarlet again. Now he was happy again, he told Scarlet's mother that he will love and protect her and that is what he did. Elijah never breaks his word. Even though Scarlet's parents both tragically perished in a fire 22 years ago.

Klaus:
'I'm running with the wolves tonight'

It was true he was running with the wolves, Hayley had taken Klaus to the Bayou to meet the whole pack. He was excited it was about time that him and Hayley spent some time together.

Hayley:
'She works the nights by the water'

Hayley had decided to take Klaus to meet the pack. She and Klaus were becoming exceptionally close and they were going to do the night watch together. Things were falling into place. Hope was going to have both of her parents together at last.

Marcel:
'Fucking up the world for just one day'

Marcel was still trying to find his way round recent events. Scarlet was alive meaning she was a walking target. But she was in safe hands, the least Marcel could do was make sure his vampires will not harm her. She was practically royalty in the French Quater.

Scarlet:
'Let me love you'

Loving any of the Mikaelson family is a death wish. She's been warned to keep her distance but why should she they're the only people that knew her family. She was still overjoyed that she had found Andrea, now known as Hayley. Hayley said she would introduce Scarlet to Hope as her Auntie. Some friendships last a lifetime.

Elijah had declared his love for her at the ball and at the end of the evening she found herself in his bed. I guess you know how she got there. She had also got her dream job as new artist at the town's gallery, but Elijah did not know of her new job.
