It was the day after we left off, Freya had found the prophecy of the Rose family but decided to keep it to herself. She believed that Scarlet was the girl that was mentioned throughout the prophecy and was determined to find another way to determine peace in the quarter.

But it was time for Scarlet to know the true meaning behind her powerful background.

It was a beautiful summer's day and Scarlet had just returned from her trip to the park with Hayley and Hope. Freya stood hopelessly in the hallway awaiting Scarlet's presence. Scarlet made her way over to Freya after placing her shoes and coat in the closet. "Freya what is it?" She said in a worrying tone "Come with me, We need to find Elijah then I will tell you everything!" Scarlet was taken back by Freya's response.

After Elijah entered the room, Freya turned to Scarlet to hand her a book with marked pages for Scarlet to know what she needed to read. Once she had finished she dropped the book and fell to her knees; Elijah quickly rushed to her side and observed Scarlet's current state. Freya was confused by Elijah actions towards Scarlet. She did not know the relationship between Elijah and Scarlet. Scarlet raised her head "I'm going to die!" Freya was shocked by this and said "No there's other people in your family, right?" Scarlet shook her head and was pulled into a hug by Elijah, who was still on the floor by the side of her.

"Scarlet is the last of her blood" Elijah stated. Scarlet proceeded to cry and Elijah began to kiss her forehead and rub her back in an attempt to comfort her. Freya took notice of Elijah's feeling towards Scarlet and spoke softly "She will not die, She is family and I'm sure Nik will agree because she did save his life." Elijah nodded and lifted Scarlet from the ground and the thought of losing Scarlet had brought him to the verge of breaking down. But he had to be strong.

Scarlet was truly the one. As he had said I believe that when you love someone and that person loves you in return you're uniquely vulnerable. They have a power to hurt you that's like nothing else. Scarlet's death would be the breaking point for the noble Elijah.

Freya and Scarlet continued to sit in the study talking but had burnt a herb so they could talk freely without the others knowing the subject of the conversation. They began talk and Scarlet excepted the fact that her death would be the key to peace and that she could potentially die anytime soon. They began on a plan on what will happen after Scarlet's death and Freya agreed to protect the family and most of all Elijah.

Elijah began to worry along with Klaus and Hayley and soon joined by Rebekah; Freya and Scarlet had been talking for hours but they had noticed the burning herb. Elijah was starting to imagine what life would be without Scarlet and decided to return to his and Scarlet's shared room but as soon as he entered his room, once the door was closed, he could no longer hold back his tears. He proceeded to fall to his knees. He had lost Scarlet once and now he could lose her at anytime. Then there would be no way on heaven nor earth that he could get her back again.

Scarlet existed the study and retired to her own room that she didn't share with Elijah. Klaus attempted to stop Scarlet but he could tell that she was in desperate need of a friend but Nik decided to leave her instead of following her, he believed if he followed she would get annoyed. Rebekah had caught note of Niklaus' actions and ran after Scarlet but by the time she got to the other side of the room, the door was locked and Scarlet had sat down in front of it.

Elijah had finally picked himself off of the floor just in time, a scream had come from Hayley's room. Nik rushed into Elijah and Scarlet's shared room "Their gone!"
