The sun rose, glistening on Candytail's fur.
She moaned and woke up.

Everyone was still sleeping-OakMirror, SidClaw, WolfHeart, MorningEar, ZebStripe, LovelyTail, and MimicClaw.

The only ones who were up were Teastar and BrindleWool, who went hunting at sunrise, about 2 hours before she woke up.

They still hadn't returned and their scent didn't smell fresh—the only scent was theirs when they left, but no recent scent.

Candytail shook her fluffed fur and stepped into the sun.

Her shadow appeared as the sun almost blinded her.

She looked around and carefully walked into the forest.

The sun disappeared as the wind blew.

She wasn't comfortable going into the woods alone, but she worried about them.
Teastar—The clan leader, he's the most important to her.
BrindleWool—The deputy, soon to be leader when Teastar passes.

She continued to walk farther into the woods, the camp soon disappearing behind the trees.

She stepped on a branch and she immediately stopped and scanned the forest before walking on.

She felt like she died when she smelt the faint smell of them.
But, between them was a unknown scent.
She continued it until BrindleWool's scent stopped.

It went in the other direction—away from Teastar.

Teastar's scent continued, until the Unknown scent collided when his, only leaving Unknown scent.

Whatever it was, it attacked them.

It seemed like BrindleWool was lucky to escape.

Candytail paused her eyes widen.

She followed the Unknown scent, she soon reached a river.

She wasn't a good swimmer so she ended up trotting over the moist rocks,

The scent continued.

The sky couldn't be seen anymore and she could barely see anything.

Her heart stopped.

She noticed the faint shadow of a creature.

There was a cat.It was cats from a different clan.

The creature must of been from this clan.

She smelt again.

It was SunClan.

Candytail waited until the cats walked into the woods and soon disappearing, before she ran still following the scent.

Over all her loud noises made by her paws she swore she felt the presence of a cat.

The scent soon led into a little camp.

She sighed.

Of course it was SunClan's camp.

She couldn't go through there.

She carefully walked behind the dens making sure to keep quiet.

She passed the camp and smelled for the scent.

The scent continued on and finally the faint smell of Teastar returned.

She followed it.

The scent of BrindleWool came back and the Unknown scent disappeared.

She followed it and soon came up to a opening.

In the distance she could see to backs of cats.

Their scent continued.

It was a Twoleg house.

Candytail realized that the scent most likely was a Twoleg.

She walked over and peered through the picket fence.

There was a Twoleg with both BrindleWool and Teastar.

"Mommy! Can we keep them please!?" A Twoleg asked.

Teastar hissed and jumped out of it's arms.

"Teastar!" Candytail mewed.

Teastar looked around and ran toward her.

"Candytail! Thank StarClan you're here." He said, his voice full of fear.

"What happened?!?" She asked.

"It's a long story." He said.

"I'll try to get you out of here." Candytail said.

It would take too long to dig a hole.

"They have a cat door, but the Twoleg keeps picking me up." Teastar exclaimed.

"I'll distract them, you and BrindleWool make a run for it." Candytail said.

He nodded and ran over to BrindleWool.

Candytail mewed and stuck her paw through the fence.

It was too skinny for them to fit through.

The twolegs noticed and rushed over.

"Mommy! It's another kitty!" Teastar jolted into the cat door, followed by BrindleWool.

The Twoleg shook her paw in a greeting but she noticed both Teatstar and BrindleWool were motioning for her to run.

Candytail hissed and ran toward them.

"We need to go now!" BrindleWool exclaimed.

They ran off toward the forest, not stopping to look behind them.

"I was so worried about you guys!" Candytail mewed trying to keep up with the cats.

Teastar looked pretty embarrassed,"You did well."

Candytail nodded,"Thank you."

Their paws crunched on the leaves.

"I forgot about SunClan.." BrindleWool said.

They halted to a stop and looked at the camp.

They ran into the camp and continued to run.

"What was that for?!?" Candytail exclaimed.

"It was safer to run into the camp." BrindleWool said.

"Ok.."

The sound of the rushing water was heard and they reached the river.

Teastar was able to jump over it.

BrindleWool was also.

Candytail looked carefully at the jump, she sighed and jumped, at first she slipped but she clawed her paws into the ground and pulled herself up.

"Are you okay?" Teastar asked.

"Yeah, thanks." She rolled her eyes.

With the last energy they had they reached the camp.

The cats looked in shock.

It was around the evening.

Pinktoe rushed over.

"Where were you guys!?" She exclaimed.

"It's a long story." Candytail said.

Teastar nodded.

"Well tell me!" Pinktoe said.
