Chapter 12-???

The pounding of rain banged the roof of Teastar's den.The rain become more violent as the leaves of the canopy of trees fell of their stems and onto the wet earth ground.

Teastar tossed and turned, trying to make himself comfortable on the damp bed of leaves on top of the stone floor.

Cracks of lightning lit up the sky, in the darkness.

Teastar's eyes bolted open, as he listened carefully,The crunch of the leaves was heard.

Teastar perked his ears up.

The sound was coming from the elder's den, which only had one living elder, SunningStone.

SunningStone was a beautiful she-cat, that was almost 205 moons old(17 years old).

Teastar shook the leaves off his fur.

His paws hurt, but he managed to trot his way to the elder's den.

His paws smashed on the ground, paw by paw.

Finally he reached the elder's den and peaked his head into the den.

SunningStone was  playing with a rock, she seemed quite amused with the rock.

Teastar's fur relaxed, as he knew she was okay.

"Oh, Teastar!" SunningStone croaked, her voice raspy, and dry.

"What brings you out here?" SunningStone asked, moving the rock aside.

"I heard something outside and just wanted to investigate." Teastar mewed.

"That was BrindleWool, he was patrolling around for awhile." The elder said.

"Why? I told him he could have a break," Teastar seemed quite annoyed."He told me something about predators." SunningStone rasped.

"Why in StarClan does he need to watch out..,Especially predators, we have no kits right now and all the cats could fight perfectly fine." Teastar shook his fur.

"Except for Pinktoe," She added.

Teastar completely forgot about Pinktoe's pregnancy and nodded.

"I'll leave you be," Teastar spoke,"Alright."

Teastar walked out of the elder's den his pads hurting from walking.

The wind whistled.

Teastar reached his den and curled up on the leave bedding and tried to calm himself down.
The forest was flooding, BrindleWool disobeyed him–And he worried about his mate.

The birds chirped, the soft pitter of the rain hit the canopy.

Teastar shook his fur, specks of water flying everywhere.

He looked outside, still raining.

The sun shined.

He stretched himself and made his way.

"Teastar!" Willowheart mewed.

Teastar looked to his right, looking at the she cat.

"You need to come see this.." Willowheart's voice was pale.
Teastar's eyes widen and he followed the medicine cat to her den.

In the den was OakMirror, Teastar's littermate.

Her face was pale, and next to her was Manepelt—Her mother.

"What happened...?" Teastar choked, lost for words.

"We don't know, BrindleWool brought her back like this."

Manepelt, licked her kit's head nuzzling against her.

Teastar ran out of the den,he felt foolish, yet he needed to get some answers out of BrindleWool.

BrindleWool was with Pinktoe.

Teastar contained his anger as he approached BrindleWool.

"BrindleWool may I speak with you." Teastar growled.

"Uh, okay." BrindleWool mewed.

The cats walked over to a tree.

"So would you like to tell me why you were out last night?" Teastar demanded.

"I was patrolling.." He answered.

"You had NO right to be out last night! I completely told you that you weren't allowed to patrol because you had GREEN COUGH do you even care about your health?!?" Teastar exclaimed

"It went away! I'm trying to be a good deputy and protect our clan!"  BrindleWool choked back.

"I understand that BUT you had NO right to go and disobey me!You have completely disobeyed the rules of a deputy!" He hissed.

"Why are you acting like my mother?!" BrindleWool interrupted.

"Because I care for you! We have lost TOO many cats!I will not let you die because of your foolishness!" Teastar replied,"I though I could trust you, but apparently I can't! You think being a deputy is a joke! You need to put aside your fun days and start acting mature! You will be a leader and you aren't going to get anywhere if you keep acting immature!"

BrindleWool stared blankly at Teastar.

"Is that what you think about me!? A worthless cat!?" BrindleWool exclaimed,"I never said you were worthless! You just need to take your job seriously!" Teastar protested.

"What did you do to OakMirror?!" Teastar added.

BrindleWool always seemed like he had a death wish on her.

"I didn't do anything! I found her like that!" BrindleWool mewed.

"Until you tell us what happened you can no longer be deputy! You will not loose your position BUT you will have no deputy rights until you tell us, you will stay like a warrior!"

BrindleWool nodded, and walked off.

Teastar then walked over to Pinktoe.

"What happened over there..?" She asked,"Somethings....How are you feeling.?" He asked.

"I'm fine, I'm predicted to have 2-4 kits." She purred.

Teastar rubbed himself against his mate.

Pinktoe had been resting in the medicine den, and she should have her kits in about 4 days.

"It's a lovely day isn't it?" Pinktoe asked, the soft drops of rain hit the cats' fur.

"It's better then last night that's for sure." Teastar exclaimed.

Teastar knew BrindleWool most likely found OakMirror like this, but his parents were from SunClan and LeafClan, and BrindleWool was kicked out of LeafClan for being half from a different clan, and he most likely wanted to kill someone from Mountainclan every since he was born.
