Kai's P.O.V:

As I walked into my house, my little brother and sister, Nia and Nai, ran up and huged me. "Hehehe, helllooooo" Nia said, smiling.

I chuckled and have them a hug.
After they finally let go, I went into the kitchen to say hi to my Dad.
"Hey Dad, what you cooking?" I asked, peering over his shoulder.
It seemed he was making some sorta pasta. It looked good.

"Just dinner, tell me, how was school?" He asked, grabbing a can of tomato sauce. I shrugged and gave a weak smile. "Meh, I've had better days. But there was this one kid who got hit with a volley ball... So that was kinda funny" I said. Dad chuckled and went back to cooking.

I smiled to myself and went to my room to change. After I changed, I fell on my bed, opening my phone.
I was gonna try to find out who that werewolf kid was... I don't know why, but he seemed to stand out from the others. Now, how am I gonna find this out? Well, as a Teachers Aid, we get to see who's going to the school. Its manly so we can make sure no one is skipping... But we all no that doesn't work.

I opened up the page and started to look. At first it seemed hopeless. Just a bunch of random names, until I found the name, Ein Phoenix, next to a picture of a Werewolf boy.

So thats his name...

He was a freshmen, 15. He had black hair with a blue highlight. He was related to Aphmau Phoenix. Were they twins? I kept looking, seeing if there was anything else. Oddly enough, there wasn't really anything, no record, just nothing. Weird....

"Kai! Its time for dinner!" My Dad yelled from down stairs.
"Alright, be down in just a minute!" I yelled back.

I got up and fixed my hair a little, whenever I would lay down it always got all messy, no matter what I did. Kinda annoying sometimes. Like, really annoying....
I walked out of my room, closing my door and went into the living room.

"Pasta and chicken is severed" Dad said, doing a little bow and placing the severing plate down on the table.
The twins clapped and I did a little 'woohoo!'. Dad smiled and sat in his own seat. Nia and Nai quickly started to put food on there plate.

We talked and laughed as we ate. Our famile may be small, but we care about each other. I looked down at my, now empty plate and smiled.
This was nice.

Eventually, it was bed time, at least for the twins. I tucked them in and said good night, Dad gave them a kiss on the forehead. I told Him goodnight and went to my own room.

I let out a sigh.
"Alright, let the long night being..."
I don't really sleep well, either I just can't or I get a nightmare. I know?
Some 16 year old having nightmares about losing people? Dumb right.
Heh, guess I will just stay up tonight.

Just as long as I don't have to dream....

~Time skip to the next morning~

As the sun began to rise, and the birds started to sing, I got out of bed and went into the bathroom.
I looked at myself in the mirror...
My hair was more messy and weird looking then usual. But thats what tossing and turning all night does.

I got a hair comb and brushed my hair, trying to not scratch up my ears. For some reason, I always end up cutting them somehow. I'm like a four year old. I let out a small laugh at myself and went back into my room.
I changed into my uniform and put on my shoes. 6:45, Twins and Dad aren't up yet. I have to wake Nia and Nai at 7:15 and Dad gets up at 7.

I slowly walked into the kitchen.
I grabed three pieces of bread, putting them in the toaster. Turned on the coffee machine and put in some water. Okay, 7:00 Dad should be up now. I took out the toast and put them on three different plates, I put some jelly stuff on and ate one. I set the other two on the table where the Twins sit.

"Hey son. Been up long?" A voice asked. It was Dad.

I turned around and gave him a smile.
"Eh, kinda. Your coffee should be done. I gotta go wake up the Twins" I said, walked slightly past him.
I heard a thank you, and went to they're room.

I opened the door and gave it a little knock, "hey guys, time to get up." I said softly. After a few minutes, Nia sat up. "Mmm, Brother? Is it time for school?" She asked, half awake.
I chuckled and smiled, saying yes.

"Alright, Nia will you get Nai up?" I asked. She nodded and got out of bed, walking over to his.

"I will be in the kitchen, breakfast is ready, get ready for school then come eat" I told her.

I walked back to the kitchen and got their backpacks ready. Made sure that Nai's inhailer was in there and put them next to the door. By then, they had both walked in and started to eat.
"Okay, gotta go. Bye Kai, Bye Nia, Bye Nai, love y'all" Dad said grabing his keys and walking out the door.

The twins said bye and I waved.
I waited a minute or two for them to finish, then helped them get ready.
I braided Nia's hair and helped Nai with his shoes. Afterwards, we were ready to go, 7:40.
It took ten minutes to get them to school, then another ten to run over to Phoenix Drop.

"Alright, lets go!" I said happily.
Nia cheered and Nai just shrugged his shoulders. I took they're hands, locked the door, and started our walk to school.

"Hey Kai?" Nai asked all of the sudden.

"Yeah?" I answered.
He looked up at me and gave a questioning look. "Are we gonna go see Mom again this weekend?" He asked. I looked forward. "Yes, I think so..."

Once we got there, I waved goodbye and waited until they were inside.
As soon as I couldn't see them anymore, I turned around and started to sprint to my own school.
I ran down the sidewalk as fast as I could, dodging people and pets.
I took a shortcut through the back woods, behind the school.

I slowed down once I got towards the front. No one really noticed, and that was perfectly fine. I leaned against the outaide wall and tried to get my breathe back. I opened my phone to see what time it was, 8:20. I had five minutes to walk to my teacher and start filling out or copying whatever she had. Honestly, I don't know how she got this job, she can't seem to do anything without me. I quickly walked inside and to the classroom.

"Why, hello there Kai. How are you?" She asked when I walked in.
"Oh, I've been okay." I said, not really wanting to talk.
She said she needed some copy's and handed me some papers.

I nodded and took them to the storage/supply room. I was the first one here so far and started the copy's.
I leaned against the wall and waited for them to be done.
After a minute or two, Teony, another teachers Aid, walked in with Jeff.

"One day, these 'adult' will have to learn to do these things them selves" She said to both is us.

"Yes, but it is out job to help them educate the younger classmen" Jeff said, his voice all stuffy.

I laughed a little and agreed.
They kept talking, and I took out the copy's. I said bye and went back to the classroom. 8:53, school started at 9.
Almost time. I handed them to her and she said to go help the freasmen.
We/I have to help them for the first week or so. They uh, tend to get lost.

The other Teacher Aids were already at the front. We waited for the doors to open, most of us were just waiting for friends. I, was just Waitting to go home. The doors opened and student's rushed in, chatting, laughing, yelling...
Just being annoying honestly.

But then that werewolf boy walked in... He was with that Aphmau girl and some white haired guy. He didn't seem to talk to them, just shyly following them.

"Hey! Your a helper thingy right?" Some kid asked/yelled.
I looked at who it was and said yes, trying to have him a warm smile.
You guessed it, he's lost. I mentally sighed and took him to his right class.

After helping a few more kids, I went to my own. I sat towards to front.
The teacher said something about hoping we do good and let us talk and hang out. I looked around, I didn't know anyone else in this class. I was one of the few meif'wa in this class, and I didn't know the others.

As I was looking around, I saw that Ein kid, he wasn't talking to anyone and looked kinda lonely.
I decided to talk to him, I just felt like I was supposed to? I don't know.
I walked over to his desk and sat on the one in front of his, facing towards him. "Hey, you're Ein, right?" I asked.

His head shot up and he stared at me.
"H-how do you know my name?" He asked. He seemed nervous.

"Oh, I'm just a teachers Aid, I'm supposed to." I explained.
He looked a little relieved.
"Oh okay... Well yeah, I'm E-Ein, what's your name?" He asked.

"I'm Kai. Nice to meet you" I said and gave him a smile. He put his hand on the back of his neck and said, "its nice to meet you too"

"Hey so, I don't really know anyone here, wanna hang out?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded.

He's kinda cute....
