Chapter 28
Lola's POV
Suddenly I heard one of the girls. I quickly dried my tears, and rehid the books. Then I opened the door, and went down to make some breakfast.
Kali's POV
I watched Meow~Chan pick out her clothes, and then set them on her bed. Then she came over to me and shook me. "Kali~Chan, time to get up! There is work to do today." Meow~Chan said, picked out clothes for me, and threw them at me. "Get up Kali~Chan." She said, in her sugar sweet voice. "I'm up, I'm up." I grumbled, and got up. At the castle, I never had to be up this early. But here I did. You are probably trying to figure out why Meow~Chan picked out my clothes, and that's another habit I have. When I lived with my father, the maid would always pick out "suitable" clothes for me, so I've pretty much never picked out my own clothes, and that is fine with me. "Kali~Chan is daydreaming again," I heard Meow~Chan tell Lola. Ugg, I should probably get up and eat, we were reopening the booth today.
I opened the booth's curtains, said hello to Logan, and then settled down with my knitting. Meow~Chan was here with me, also knitting, but Lola was at the house, cleaning our stove. It was the first time she had used a cheap stove in a long, long time, and she forgot how they worked. Long story short, she had made a huge mess. I heard something, and looked up, to see Donna and her boys. "Hello Donna, how are you today?" I asked. "I'm doing great, but Yip is cutting wood for me today, leaving me with the twins. Anyway, they are getting cold at night, so I need blankets." Donna said. "Ok, we have the large and small sized blankets. Are they going in their cribs?" I said, happy that I could help her. "Yes they are," She said. "Then you will probably want the smaller ones. We have blue, green, red, turquoise, pink, and purple; though I'm guessing you won't want pink or purple." I said. "I wish, I really wanted a little girl to spoil, one that was less trouble. Well, Yip was a good little one I guess. Anyway, I think I'll take one blue blanket, and one red blanket." She said with a smile. I handed them to her. "Also," she whispered, leaning towards me,"Here are the measurements you need for the sweater. Be sure to thank Lola for her idea of measuring one of his shirts." "I will, and one of us will bring it over when it's finished." I replied, then she left. I went over the measurements, and set my knitting back in my backpack. I pulled out some empty knitting needles, some red yarn, and got ready to knit a sweater.
So Kawaii! Well, I have a question for you guys. Who do you ship in this book? <3
