Part Three
Cameron
"Cameron, suck in! If you want to find a man you need to squeeze your ass in these jeans." Sammy complained trying to help me pull up my pants. We had been going at it for at least five minutes and about four minutes ago I was ready to find new pants, however Sammy insisted that these were the best pants for me to wear.
"I'm not even trying to find a man! Just let me find some more pants I can't where your skinny ass jeans!" I whined out trying to remove the pants from my thighs. I basically had the pants on, but they looked incredibly stupid and didn't zip up. There was no use in wearing them.
"Fine, but the pants you pick better look good or I'm leaving you here." He huffed out folding his arms over his chest.
"That's what I wanted anyway." I said turning to go to my closet.
"On second thought, I'll make us stay at the party longer if you come out with ugly ass pants on." Sammy replied stubbornly eliciting an eye roll from me.
I had no desire to go to this stupid party, but Sammy had been breathing down my neck on how excited he was about the party ever since I had agreed to go. I just really hoped the party isn't going to be too wild because if it is I will be walking back to our dorm no matter how far the house is from our college.
After a couple minutes I finally decided on wearing my ripped black pants with the jersey I already had on, that Sammy insisted I wear.
I walked out to see what Sammy had to say.
"I guess it will do." He states scanning over my attire. "But, we have to get rid of the glasses."
"Hell no. You know I'm practically blind without my glasses. The glasses stay." I said not budging.
"Fine." Sammy groaned.
"Good because I'm not changing again." I stated sternly taking a seat on the couch.
"I'm just saying what's the point in having a gay best friend if you can't get him laid." Sammy compliance director checking himself out in our full body mirror.
"I'm not even gay!" I shouted at Sammy who gave me a look that showed he didn't believe a word I just said. But, I wasn't lying, I'm not gay. Yeah, I found the boy from Walgreens attractive, but that didn't indicate anything in my book.
"Yeah, I want you to tell me that again when you have a dick in your mouth." He said with a shrug and I felt disgusted from the imagery of a dick in my mouth.
I had never really imagined me doing anything with a female, let alone a male, so imagining that was too much for me.
"Can we just go?" I huffed out wanting to get this whole party situation over with.
"We have to wait for my man to come first." And almost as if on cue Skate knocked on our dorm room door. Once the door was open Sammy was clung to Skate participating in a kiss that made me feel like the third wheel I always was.
"Hey baby, you look sexy." Skate said gripping Sammy's waist. They always participated in flirting as if I wasn't there so now I was use to it.
"You clean up nicely yourself." Sammy said with his hand on Skate's chest.
"Can we go now?" I urged knowing if I didn't say anything this would last for at least another five minutes.
"Oh, look who's eager to go the party now." Sammy said with a smile.
"No, I just rather not watch you two make heart eyes at each other for the next hour. Plus the sooner we get there the sooner we can come back." I admitted grabbing my key and my phone.
"Fine we'll go then grumpy."
"Thank you." I said walking in between them to go through the door.
"Hey, Cameron." Skate said with an amused smile.
"Hey Nathan." I greeted knowing he hated when anyone, but Sammy called him by his actually name, but I didn't really care.
"Again with the government name." He groaned and I simply shrugged in response awaiting for all of his to pile up in Sammy's small ass car.
Once we arrived at the huge house of my personalized creeper, I had to admit that the house was huge.
"Woah." Sammy whispered stealing the words right out of my mouth as Skate parked the car in an empty space alongside all the other cars.
"There is a shit ton of cars out here. This should be fun." Sammy said in delight loving parties. I mean Skate and him had met at a party. He claims their meeting was fate and it only justifies why he loves going to parties so much.
"Yeah." I stated sarcastically already feeling myself becoming socially anxious from the thought of the amount of people piled in there. I hated being really close to people, undiagnosed claustrophobia I believe, and parties only worsened that phobia.
"Well lets go." Skate announced wrapping one of his arms around Sammy's waist as I followed closely behind.
Right when I got in the house I was engulfed with smoke from people most likely vaping, which was so stupid to me. There was girls grinding on guys, girls grinding on other girls, guys grinding on guys, drunk girls falling all over the place, and drunk guys jumping around to the music as if they had no home training.
I followed close behind Skate and Sammy like a lost puppy not wanting to get lost in the crowd as they made it over to the drinks.
"You want a drink, Cam?" Sammy asked bobbing his head to the beat of the music.
"No thanks." I answered. It's not that I didn't drink, it's just that I didn't like drinking at parties. Too many things can go wrong when you don't drink at a party, but that possibility becomes even larger when you do drink.
"Oh come on bestie. Loosen up." Sammy said putting both his hands in my shoulder.
"I am. I'm just not use to the party scene, you know this." I huffed out looking at Sammy under the flashing lights.
"I know. But for tonight the only rule I give to you is to have fun. Let's start by dancing." Sammy yelled over the music grabbing both me and Skate's hand. Skate was laughing at my obvious discomfort and I simply scowled at him.
Soon enough we were in the middle of a bunch of drunk college students dancing and although, I hated dancing I decided to just try and have fun. Not too much later Sammy and Skate were grinding on each other, practically having sex and I decided I wanted to sit for a bit.
"Hey, I'm about to go get a drink." I informed Sammy.
"Okay." He said happily continuing to dance into the front of his boyfriend.
I pushed my way to the crowd and got a bottle of water, when I felt someone tap on me. I turned around to see a very drunken Emily. Although, this was her party I was trying my very best to avoid her.
"Oh hey Emily." I said trying to sound happy to see her.
"Hey, sexy. Nice to see you ditch the button up and show up to my party just for me. You clean up well." She said getting so close to me that I could smell the strong scent of alcohol on her breath.
"Thanks." I said trying to find a good method in order to breath because I absolutely hated the smell of alcohol on someone's breath.
"What do you say, me and you go upstairs and have a party of our own." She giggles out taking my hand into hers, but I quickly moved it away backing up on the table since her chest was literally against mine at this point.
"No, I'm okay." I spoke out trying to get her to stop touching me and right now her hands would not stop trying to grasp my hand or somewhere on my arm.
"Are you really? Or are you just playing games like you always do?" She said grasping the front of my pants and my body went completely frozen.
"Hey, is the loser bothering you?" A boy said coming up behind her and lifting her up bridal style making her release the front of my pants.
"No, we were just having fun." She said sending me a wink as the boy carried away taking her obnoxious giggles with her, but still I was there frozen.
Did she really just-?
I chose to not think about it anymore wanting nothing more, but to leave this stupid party.
"Hey, are you having fun?" Sammy said walking up to where I was putting an arm over my shoulder.
"No, I'm not. I'm ready to go Sam. I really did try having fun, but can we please go?" I pleaded feeling disgusted and almost scared from what just happened. I know many people will say I'm a guy and I could have easily pushed her off or any other bullshit, but for some reason I can't explain, I was scared of her for a second. Now I definitely had no desire to be around her or at her dumb party filled with illiterate assholes.
"Oh, come on Cam! We just got here, let's just stay a little longer I'm sure you'll-" but the rest of his words were drowned out when I spotted someone I had "coincidently" seen for the third time now.
"Cam are you even listening?" Sammy complained from beside me and I shook my head not adverting my eyes from the tall blue-eyed boy who was looking around the party and started walking towards someone in a rush.
"What are you looking at?" Sammy said looking over to where I was looking at.
"Why are you looking at the guy over there?" He questioned.
"That's the guy I ran into at Walgreens." I admitted briefly and I already knew Sammy was looking back at his boyfriend with a smirk.
"Well, go over there and talk to lover boy." Sammy said pushing me to walk and that's when I snapped my gaze, turning to look at Sammy as if he had lost all his brain cells. I was convinced he had.
"Are you crazy?" I asked.
"What is crazy about going and saying hi to someone? It's not like I just told you to go over there and suck his dick. Just simply go over there and say hi." Sammy explained and I looked between him and Skate, who was always amused by his boyfriend and I's banter.
"Skate you agree with this?" I questioned.
"Of course Nate does." Sammy spoke for him.
"I'm not talking to you." I snapped adverting my attention back to Skate.
"I see no harm in it." Skate said with a shrug.
"So it's settled you're going over there and saying hi." Sammy said with a smile pushing me more to go talk to him.
"And I get no say in this!" I exasperated.
"Nope. Now go, we'll be right here when you get back. If you come back." He said with a smirk.
"Fine. I'll go! But only to see if he's stalking me." I said turning to make my way over to the talk man. "This is just too coincidental." I whispered to myself making my way through the crowd of people.
By the time I got over to him he was done talking to the sloppy drunk girl and she was being taken out the house by a guy.
I hesitantly tapped his shoulder since he was turned away from me and once he turned around I felt all my confidence dwindle. I quickly made it return though.
"I'm convinced you're stalking me." I said over the music putting both my hands on my hips looking up at the tall man.
"Funny you say that given you came up to me." He said smirking down at me once he realized exactly who I was.
"Touché. But I'm at a college party because I'm a college student. What's your excuse?" I questioned.
"Well, if you remember I told you I was twenty-two, meaning I could still be a college student. However, I was here to get my drunk little sister that butt dialed me. That was the girl just being escorted out by her boyfriend." He explained and despite my initial apprehension, I knew everything added up that he was saying and this meeting was yet another coincidence.
"Hmm, I guess that makes sense. I'm still onto you though, Nash." I admitted sparing him a small smile and he sent me one back. Even under the small amount of light that was given at the party, he was so extremely handsome that it was almost annoying.
"So, why are you here? From the small encounters we've had I definitely got the vibe that you weren't into parties and I'd like to say I'm pretty good at reading people." Nash questioned.
"I was dragged here by my friend and I want nothing more than to go back to our dorm." I explained sharing with him my predicament.
"Oh, I see. Well, if you'd like I could take you back your dorm." He suggests showing his keys. "I mean if that's cool with you."
"How do I know you won't kill me?" I questioned looking up into his blue eyes.
"I want to take you on a date, not kill you." He explained making my heart flutter a bit for a second. He was unbashfully flirting with me, something I was not use to from anyone other than Emily and I didn't know what to make of it.
I thought about my options for a second. I could either stay here and be miserable while trying to avoid Emily or leave with Nash, a boy I've had three small encounters with and could possibly kill me or learn where my dorm is at and further stalk me.
Whether this was a smart or dumb decision, I picked the latter choice.
"I guess I can go with you, but only if you keep the flirting down to a minimal." I demanded.
"I'll try." He said with a wink leading the way for both of us to leave the huge house.
I quickly texted Sammy that I would be getting a ride home and continued following behind the tall man. I already knew once Sammy read my text he would know who I was leaving with and I would be hearing a whole lot from Sammy once he got back to our dorm.
If someone would have told me by the end of the night I would be riding home with a guy I met at Walgreens I would have said they were delusional, but yet here I was.
Fate had brought me and the blue-eyed boy together again.
A/N: I know, it's been a really, really long time since I've updated, but I think I've found my live for this book again and I plan on updating a lot more. Just stick with me!
