Crystals P.O.V.

After I got some fish for Nightmare we headed back to the cave. When we got to the cave I saw what I had been working on and started the fire again so I could finish it. I finished it in about a half hour  "Nightmare I have a surprise for you." I called. Nightmare comes barreling towards me. "Its not fish. It is something even better!" I tell her. "That is if it works." I mumble to myself. "You are going to have to trust me though." Nightmare looks at me with a confused look.

I laugh a little while I put the tail on her. I attach the saddle to the tail and the saddle to Nightmare. While I was doing this Nightmare was nervously hopping around, which made things a lot harder. It took me ten minutes to set it all up.

"Okay girl I am going to sit on your back and out my feet in the stirrups, then I want you to walk out of the cave and then we are going to try something, but in order for this to work I need you to fully trust me." I slowly explain to Nightmare.

 I hop on her back and say "Okay, now walk out of the cave." She walks out of the cave slowly. "Alright now I want you to fly." She looks back at me like I am crazy. "Trust me girl." 

She looks back forward and jumps up and starts to fly up and before she falls I open up the tail and she starts to glide. "YES IT WORKS!!!! Okay let's go up." I say as I change the tail so that we can climb up.

Nightmare starts to climb up. She stops climbing once we pass the clouds I shift back to gliding. "How is this for a surprise Nightmare?" I ask her. She responds by shooting a plasma blast right in front of us.

I laugh until the explosion washes over us blowing my loose hairs up. "Thanks for that." I say in a sarcastic tone. Nightmare laughs at me and I shortly join in. Nightmare leans down and I change the gear so we can dive. She doesn't let up until we get close to the water.

She pulls up and I switch the gears at the same time making it go smoothly. We head back to the cave and land. "How was that girl?" I ask her when we land. She jumps around happily as a reply. I laugh and sit down on my log. Nightmare starts the fire and I grab some fish that I have stored.

I get a stick long enough to cook my fish on and I throw Nightmare five fish. "I am going to stay here to night with you." I say as I cook my fish. When I finish eating I go out of the cave to get more leaves and wood.

I get the leaves so I can make my bed and the wood because the fire was dying. While I was chopping some wood in the forest I hear something. I stop cutting the wood and listened to see if I could hear where the noise came from. To my left a twig snapped, I quickly pulled a dagger from my belt and threw it so it would either skim their ear or go right passed their head. I hear a scream and quickly go to see who it was.

I sigh and step out from my spot. "Asta I could have killed you!" I said to her. "And I am thankful that you didn't." She said with a bit of fear in her voice. "Why are you here?" I state plainly. "I came to apologize to you." Asta says.

I make no movement towards her and left my face plain. "I am sorry for pissing you off back in the arena. I am also sorry for ignoring you since we got older. Can we be friends again?" She pauses waiting for my answer.

"You are just like my father, you don't care about me till I do something 'Viking worthy'." I spit back at her. "Tell my father that I won't be home tonight." I say and walk further into the woods. I make it look like I turn an walk away when really I stand behind a tree and watch her leave.

I quickly and quietly walk back to the cave. Nightmare looks at me curiously. "We are leaving this vile place tomorrow." I state.

I realize that I didn't get my leaves for my bed or the wood for the fire. I yell and go back outside the cave.

That is when I saw the dragons attacking the village. I wonder how they are doing without me. I laugh.

I look to see a Night Fury flying through the sky. The Night Fury almost gets hit by a flaming arrow. Nobody notices that the Night Fury lands about 100 yards to the right of me.

I smile and go back into the cave. Not noticing the Night Fury myself. "I wonder how low they are on weapons?" I say as I cuddle with Nightmare. "I guess I will see in the morning." I yawn and go to sleep.
