Couple trigger warnings for light angst but it isnt that bad-

It had been about 6 weeks since the truth or dare game and Etho and Grian had been getting closer and closer that even some hermits could notice how they seemed to go almost everywhere together. Everyone knew about the two, and knew how close they were. But....some would say they were too close.

Occasionally, when a hermit came to talk to one of them, the other would give the hermit a death glare as they spoke. Also keeping an ear on what their talking about. Naturally this made the conversations shorter but why did the pair care? More time together. Alone.

On this certain occasion, the couple were sat on a chair in Etho's ice shop, cuddling and messing around just like they do when someone walked in. That someone being Beef. He was minding his own business and went to grab some ice and ignoring the couple in the corner, but that didn't help Grian who occasionally glared over when Etho wasn't paying attention.

Beef overheard something that Etho said and sighed at the cheesy couple messing about in full view of other people.
"Hey Grian, ya know, your eyes shine so much brighter than the stars" Etho spoke calmly and smiled as he booped Grian on the nose to earn a small flustered squeak from the younger hermit.Beef smiled and decided on a small joke to play as he walked over and leant against the wall and smiling at the glare he got from Grian at that, "Hey Etho, i overheard you two talking about stars and it reminded me of how I wanted to ask you to come stargazing with me tonight"

This, understandably, surprised Etho who looked down at Grian who was doing a pretty good job at trying to ignore it. However, inside, Grian was already deep in thought about what Beef just said and occasionally glared up at the other builder as if looking for something.

The masked hermit looked up at Beef and chuckled, before putting a singular hand up as if to stop whatever Beef would say next, "Ah, thank you for the invite but I already have....plans for tonight"
Etho immediately looked at Grian as he spoke before looking up at Beef and giving him a small eye smile.

Beef smiled and nodded in approval, "Someone is faithful I'm impressed. I'll leave you two love birds alone now, I have some work to do in my base"
He walked out and waved, jumping up and flying away.

"Well that was....weird" Grian nodded in agreement, already knowing what he was going to do about it but smiled up at Etho and snuggled into the redstoners chest and smiling as Etho ran his hands through the builders hair.

Grian looked at Etho and sighed, "Who even was that?" The redstoner chuckled before looking off at the door where Beef just left from.
"That was just my friend Beef, he jokes around a lot" Grian thought again, nodding and humming. 
"Okay thanks"

That night, Etho stayed around at Grians place. Etho had already fallen asleep, Grian in his arms and a small smile on his face. Once Grian was 100% sure that the other was asleep he slipped out of his arms and quietly got out of bed. He walked over to a set of drawers and pulled out a notebook.

He read what he had written earlier on, smiling at something before putting away the notebook and walking up the stairs. He looked back to Etho and smiled at him before murmuring quietly, "This is for you, and don't forget it" before walking out the mansion with a nametag and a knife in his hands.
