20. my little sweet surrender

An hour later the bus pulled over. You had drifted to sleep once Bakugou finally shut up. But now he was shoving your shoulder overly aggressively for someone trying to wake up another. "Move." He grunted. Your eyes fluttered open and you saw him standing and ready to climb over you.

Cringing, you quickly stood. "Sit down princess, I'm moving. Geez!" You yelled, elbowing him to push him back as you darted out of your seat.

"You little bitch-" he growled and you turned around and stuck your tongue out at him.

You piled out of the bus with the rest of your classmates, stretching your tired limbs.

"Time for a break!"

"Gotta pee, gotta pee."

"Hold on, what kind of rest stop is this?"

"Right and where's class B?"

Glancing around you noticed you were on a mountainous sort of area, trees and tall mountains were the only things in your line of sight for miles.

"Of course, we stopped here for a reason." Your father was off to the side, his ratty long hair covering the sides of his face as he prepared how he would deliver his devious plans to Class A.

Your eyes met Izuku's and you felt a wave of heat rushing to your cheeks. He smiled shyly at you, waving softly. You waved back feeling incredibly frustrated but extremely embarrassed. There was so much for you two to say, but you didn't know how to.

Your longing gazes were cut short when the Wild Pussy Cats showed up.

Your father began to quickly introduce them to the group and Izuku went into fanboy mode like he typically does.

You met your father's eyes and you noticed the way he smirked evilly. "Uh oh." You mumbled.

"What's wrong girl?" Mina asked.

Glancing up at her, you gritted your teeth. "I don't think we're going to like this pit stop."

"Back to the bus!" Kirishima screamed as he began running towards the vehicle.

"Kitties who don't make it there by twelve thirty won't get any lunch!"

"Sorry kids." Your father said, aloof posture still in tact as one of the pro heroes bent to the ground and activated her quirk.

"The training camps' already begun."

All of you tumbled down the mountain, enveloped in this woman's quirk as she sent you all to the forest.

"This is our private territory so feel free to use your quirks!" One of the heroes, Mandalay, yelled. "You've got three hours to reach the facility on foot."

"The beasts forest?" Izuku shrieked as he glanced at the mud covering his hand.

With a groan, you pulled yourself up by tugging on Sero who was already whining about the whole tumble.

Thump. Thump. With a quick snap of your head you saw an actual beast approaching your group. A shiver crept down your spine, but after Koda's failed attempt of calming the beast, you realized that Pixiebob's quirk involved controlling dirt.

Along with Todoroki, Bakugou, Iida, and Izuku, you charged for the monster and sent it into pieces by force.

5:20 p.m
You all had made it, but your strength was quickly depleting.

Todoroki held you by the waist as the two of you limped out of the forest, side by side. The two of you had defeated most of the monsters that came your way together, and he was there to help you when your ankle twisted the wrong way.

"They're finally here." Pixiebob acknowledged your presence giddily.

Once you finished wiping the dirt out of your eyes, you saw Pixiebob pointing to the five of you. "And you dealt with my earth beasts pretty easily. I'm guessing your past experiences allowed you to act without hesitation."

Pixiebob essentially shoved you away from the boys, marking them as 'hers.'

Until she stopped, looking you over rather quickly. "You're Shota's daughter, aren't you?" You blinked, surprised to hear someone call your father by his first name.

"Yeah, so what?" You grunted and smiled apologetically when your father glared at you disapprovingly, clearly ready to scold you for your bad manners.

She let out a low 'tsk' sound but ruffled your already mussed hair nonetheless. "What a cutie!"

"That boy, who's child is he?"

The question snapped you out of your revenge plot you were brewing for Pixiebob.

You noticed the kid with the funny looking hat, angrily staring at all of you.

"He looks like Bakugou." You whispered to Todoroki who actually let out a small smile at that notion.

Izuku, like the sweetheart he is, approached the boy with his hand outstretched. "Hi, Im Midoriya from U.A High School's hero course. Nice to meetcha."

Your eyes just about fell out of your head with the little boy's attack.

"Cute kid." Bakugou smirked.

"You two are a lot alike." Todoroki added shamelessly.

You doubled over laughing.

"Alike? I don't wanna hear anything outta you mister I-threw-the-match!" You kept laughing. "Shut yer damn trap eye bags before I blow you up with this icy hot bastard!"

"Enough of this side show! Go get your luggage from the bus."

**
Dinner was pretty uneventful.

They boys ate like there was no tomorrow and you sat in mostly silence as you peeked at Izuku from the corner of your eyes.

But the bath, that was a different story.

"Y/n!" Mina yelled as you hid in the corner of the springs.

Your entire body stiffened as she sat up on a rock, naked and completely unafraid.

You on the other hand, we're completely nervous. Never in your life had you bathed with another person, and being with all your female classmates was completely unnerving.

"Yes?" Your voice squeaked pathetically as you shied away from her eager gaze. You had no idea where she was going with this, but you were silently praying that it would have nothing to do with getting up and dancing naked.

That just sounded so Mina.

"What's going on with you and Midoriya?" You tried not to notice the way Ochaco visibly stiffened, probably the same way you did.

"Elaborate." You grumbled, sinking farther under the water and blowing bubbles—to give you an excuse to not speak any further.

She pouted. "The two of you clearly like each other, but now you're being all weird and distant, why is that?"

You waved her off. "Nothing. There's nothing to tell." You smiled, completely unconvincing.

Her brows furrowed.

"I have to say," Momo began, standing but covering her chest with her forearm. "I thought there was something going on between the two of you as well."

Your cheeks flared. The smartest person in your class thought there was news that share. You we're screwed everybody knew and-

"I agree." Ochaco's voice was small as she placed her input. "Even if there's nothing going on right now, I've always told her that I thought the two of them would be really great together."

You were at the highest point of embarrassment, you could have died right there. Here you were naked in a bath full of gorgeous woman, all staring and interrogating you about a boy in the other bath just over the wall.

What if he could hear them? Are they ever going to stop staring?

Seriously, if you could just die right now that would make you feel a lot better.

Jirou opened her mouth to speak when a jolt of panic surged through her body. We all heard the sound at the same time, the rampant thumping of a little beast climbing up the wall.

"A hero? Really?" Kota's voice echoed down once the noise ceased. "Try learning how to be a good person first."

Mineta's screams were incredibly loud as he fell back down the wall.

"Mineta's really the worst, huh?" Mina whined, but quickly replaced the expression with a cheery one, along with a big thumbs up. "Thanks Kota!"

You died inside as his big eyes widened, seeing all of you. His pale cheeks were replaced by a vibrant red hue, before he tumbled over the wall out of sheer embarrassment.

**
You lingered in the hallway that night, worried for Kota after that fall.

Izuku had rushed him back to his aunt before even changing, being the same admirable boy he always was.

You wanted to see him, talk to him, maybe even hug him. Wait, no! You were checking on Kota.

A door squeaked open and you saw Izuku cringe at how loud it was, before closing it once more. It took him a moment for his eyes to connect with yours, but when they did a light blush (you weren't expecting) dusted his cheeks.

"Y/n?" He smiled gently at the sight of you, "What are you still doing up?"

You bit your lips nervously as you fumbled with your fingers. "I-I was just checking on you—and Kota!" You added a bit to quickly, and far too loudly.

He laughed, patting your damp head quickly. "Well, thanks for that." His smile never faltered and he made no move to turn down the opposite hall.

The two of you just stood there, longer than would be appropriate for any other pair of people.

The two of you didn't expect to be so relieved to be in each other's presence again. It had only been a few days, but such minimal contact had made it feel like a life time.

You were surprised how long it took you to move, when you realized it was actually him who stepped forward first.

He wrapped his long arms around you and held your smaller frame close against his chest. His head crouched down to meet yours, and you could hear his heavy breathing against the shell of your ear.

You wondered in that moment if he could feel your heartbeat. You were pressed so close against him and it was beating oh so fast.

But again, neither of you moved from each other's grip, fully prepared to spend the rest of the night here as long as you could be together—and not get caught.

"I've missed you." You spoke up after minutes of silence.

He chuckled only slightly, one quick change of breath and sound. "I've been thinking about you nonstop." He added, and you could tell he meant longer than just that day. "And seeing you next to him on the bus was terrible. I wanted to badly to scoop you up and put you next to me."

"But you didn't." You teased.

"I'm like 110 percent sure you would have called me a creep if I had done that."

"Touché, but I wouldn't have minded." Your voice lingered.

He eased back just enough to look into your eyes. Your right hand was cradling the back of his neck, your fingers trailing slowly against the side.

You noticed the way his breathing hitched with every light touch, every subtle movement.

"What are we doing?" He whispered.

Not a part of you moved, not until you shook your head and responded breathlessly—"I don't know."

That's when Izuku began leaning in closer, his nose teasing yours with a light bump as your lips parted expectingly.

"You didn't come here to check on Kota, did you?" His whisper was so soft that you could only hear it due to the proximity of his lips.

You gulped, hard. "No."

His green eyes shimmered as they flickered so very quickly towards your lips, a silent plea that you accepted with a quick nod of your head.

His hand was tangled in your hair and his lips were on yours, molding perfectly together like the last piece of a puzzle you spent hours searching for.

It was more than that, it was everything, a perfect harmony—finally synchronizing the two of you together.

You tried to pull him closer, your head tilting to his will as the kiss continued. It wasn't sweet like you expected it would be from Izuku, it was rich and full of the passion and desperation the two of you had been feeling for each other for what felt like an eternity.

Your hands were both desperate as you clung to each other, his hand that wasn't on your head found your waist as he pressed you closer to him.

It was everything you could of imagined, perfect in every imperfect way. With every mess up, with all the messiness a first kiss would bring—it was perfect because it was yours.

Exactly how it was supposed to be.

His lips parted from yours, leaning in quickly to plant another kiss against your swollen lips. This time it was sweet, gentle, quicker, and so classically Izuku.

"You're so perfectly my favorite person." You whispered.

Izuku's forehead leaned against yours, his breathing slowed down and that charming smile found its way back to his lips. "That's exactly how I would describe you."

Lmk if you caught the reference :)
