2. Exploitation and Friendship

"Yeah what about it?" You shrugged.

"That wasn't like—not allowed?" He asked, stumbling over his words and making little sense.

"What? Me being in his class?" You leaned forward slightly for confirmation. "It's U.A. they clearly don't give a fuck about much, other than mass producing heroes." His eyes widened at your bluntness, but scrambled forward once he realized you started walking again.

"So is that why you want to be a hero?" He asked as the two of you began walking side by side again.

"No."

"Why do you then?" He pried.

"Mind telling me your name first before you go on asking all of these personal questions?" You seethed. "Because I know it's not Deku." You added with a snort.

His body stiffened. "I'm guessing you heard Kacchan then." He muttered as his eyes drifted off to the side. Your brows furrowed in confusion. "I'm Izuku Midoriya." He snapped back to attention, worried how you would react if he took to long to respond.

"I guess it's nice to 'officially' meet you Midoriya." You leaned over lazily after speaking to him mockingly.

"Uh—you too Aizawa-San."

**
"He's like—super broken."

"Aizawa-San! You popped out of nowhere." Izuku whined as he slumped even further over, Iida now walking beside the two of you.

"Yes! You are quite stealthy Aiz—wait—you're the daughter of our teacher?" He asked loudly and you groaned, slumping over as well.

"Yeah, yeah get over it already would you?"

"Get over what?" A lovely voice asked from beside you. "Can I join you three on the walk to the station?"

"Ah! The other infinity girl! Of course." Iida allowed.

"I'm Ochaco Uraraka! And you're Tenya Iida, you're Midoriya—uh Deku? And I'm sorry I don't know your name." She bowed apologetically towards you.

You waved your hand dismissively. "I never really announced it."

"My name is actually Izuku...Deku is just the name Kacchan uses to make fun of me." The boy blushed awkwardly which you grunted at.

"Oh gotcha sorry! Deku just kinda screams 'do your best!' I like it!" She was grinning and Izuku broke out into a flustered mess.

"Deku it is!"

"So lame." You grumbled, rolling your eyes.

"Show a bit of backbone! It's an insult isn't it?" Iida whispered as quietly as he could to Midoriya, which wasn't very quietly.

Your voice snapped Izuku back to reality as he stood up straighter, ignoring Iida. "This is Y/n Aizawa."

"I don't need you to introduce myself for me you jerk!" You yelled and crossed your arms, looking away from the group.

"With all do respect he certainly only did it since you had yet to do it yourself!" Iida interjected and you simply stuck your tongue out at him.

"Woah teacher's kid! That explains how you moved so quickly throughout the test!" She exclaimed and you blushed as you rubbed the back of your neck.

Yes, you would boast often, but when you actually got praise from others (out of the moment) you got seriously embarrassed.

"Thanks...you were cool too I guess." You grumbled as you fidgeted with your fingers, trying hard to ignore the burning feeling creeping up your face.

Izuku stared down at your flustered form and tilted his head to the side as he watched you. One moment you acted like the coolest person in the world, and the next you were grumbling like a little baby. You were strange, but he wouldn't pretend like he didn't enjoy it.

You and Ochaco talked about the differences between your quirks up until you reached the station—happily ignoring the boys you were walking with.

"My train is that way! Gotta beat my dad home so he doesn't make me run! Or cook dinner!" You added with a grin and ran off towards your train.

"Could you imagine what that's like, having a pro hero as a parent?" Ochaco asked Izuku, who she noticed was the only one still standing there with her. He was watching you run off up until you hopped on your train.

"No." He simply said, but he couldn't help but wonder if there was more to that story than you were letting on.

**
"Aizawa! You big fat liar."

"All Might." He grunted, "So you were watching."

"April Fools Day was over a week ago." The large hero was still grinning even though his brows furrowed hard. "What did you mean by a 'rational deception' you expelled an entire class of first years last year. You must believe that Midoriya boy has prospects too—won't you agree?"

Aizawa eyed him warily. "So you're supporting the boy? Isn't it a little early to be picking favorites?" He kept walking forward.

"Well you can't really say much about picking favorites Aizawa." The hero countered, making him stop.

"What do you mean?" He almost spat.

"Last I checked the roster—that girl had the same last name as you. I never knew you had a daughter. She's a little old to be yours, don't you think?"

Aizawa snapped his head around. "You clearly don't keep your tabs on people."

All Might's eyes narrowed. "So she is my old mentor's protege. I knew those movements looked familiar." He was plotting something and Aizawa didn't like it one bit.

"You need to leave her alone." Aizawa snapped.

"I will stay away from her as long as you tell me the truth."

"I don't care what you think you know, but I can assure you it is wrong. Y/n is my daughter and is going to be an amazing hero. All you need to worry about is fostering that growth. Now if you excuse me-"

Aizawa pushed forward, leaving the sight of the number one hero.

All Might didn't mean to impose. Eraser Head had pulled out of the hero game so suddenly after they discovered a case in a neighborhood in one of the towns he patrolled often. He never knew the man of the shadows to have a love, and that quirk of yours was nothing like your father's.

It was all to suspicious for his liking.

**
"I beat you home so that means you have to make dinner!" You grinned, standing on the couch as you made mocking faces at your father who was grumpily walking through the door.

"Fine, if you go run six miles."

"You're growing crazier with age old man."

"Same can be said for you." He retorted, making you roll you eyes. "Go run."

"Can't make me." You kicked yourself up into a handstand and walked around the room.

"I'm your father and your teacher so yes I think I can." He kicked you over and you pouted as you regained your footing.

"At least you have good reflexes." He said as he patted you on the head.

"So what's for dinner?" You asked with a small smirk as you began following him into the kitchen.

"I'm serious Y/n—go run."

"But dad." You groaned as you folded yourself over. "I'm just so tired—shouldn't I sleep instead? I literally got called eye bags by that spiky blonde kid."

He snorted. "Sounds about right."

You once again resorted to making mocking face behind his back, switching instantly to your angel face once he looked back over at you. "Go run, I'm not going to tell you again."

"Perfect—now that you're done with that—" you began and he gave you his scariest expression.

Your entire back stiffened and you floated towards your room. "I'll be back down shortly." You called out nervously.

"Six...damn...miles..." You panted as you finally approached the beach you'd been running towards.

You had only been running for two and decided to get a mile stretch down the beach. You were about four steps in when you saw your classmate Izuku Midoriya doing some sort of strength training near the waterline.

You tip-toed slowly over to the boy who looked incredibly frustrated the closer you got. You stopped once you saw him kick the sand and let out a yell.

He began to turn and storm off in the direction you stood in, but he stopped as his eyes met yours.

"A-Aizawa-San?" He spoke breathlessly.

You shrugged and flashed a soft and awkward smile. "Hey."

"Sorry if you uh..."

"Heard you yell?"

"Yeah." He rubbed the back of his neck, his face bright red.

"I see you're putting in some extra training too?" You asked as you walked down towards him—seeing his handprints in the sand, showcasing where he had previously done push-ups. You also saw an outline of his body, he must've been laying there for a while.

"Yeah." He nodded firmly. "When I first started training for U.A. this is where I came. I figured after today when I-" he looked down shamefully.

"Finished last?"

"You're always saying the hard things aren't you?" His lips broke out into an awkward smile.

You simply shrugged again. "If I don't no one else will. I'm also just a brat." You beamed.

He laughed softly. "I thought being back here would help strengthen my resolve." He admitted quietly.

You nodded, moving around to ensure your legs would stay loose before you had to inevitably run once more. "Is it working?"

"I hope so. I'm not giving up—but that doesn't mean that today was any less difficult."

"I get that."

"Why are you doing extra training Aizawa-San?" He asked as his eyes met yours once more. "You're already so strong."

"Well I can give you the crap about staying ahead." You you began. "But honestly my dad wasn't happy about my long distance time so this is me out on a run." You grinned as you mimicked a running motion.

He looked scrambled once again. "W-Well I don't want to stop your run any longer!"

"Trust me—you're doing me a favor." You sighed. "Wanna join me?" Your eyes met his.

"I'm doing a mile stretch down the beach before heading home." You flashed your running watch.

He took a moment to think about it before nodding and following you down the beach, the sand flying behind the two of you as your pace quickened.

**
"You're back late."

"I'm slow remember." You groaned as you kicked off your sandy shoes before stepping into the house.

"I'm proud of you, for going out." You heard him mutter—making your face go bright red.

"What the hell is wrong with you old man!?" You screamed. "Since when do you praise me?"

"I just!" He yelled, flustered as well. "I don't want you to feel alone. I know I push you hard but that's only because I want you to accomplish everything you set your heart too." He looked away bashfully as he slid you a glass of ice water.

Your eyes were glued to him as you tried to mentally will him to look at you. You smiled gently. "You goof I know I have you guys. I've never been alone."

He waved his hand dismissively at you. "Whatever. Go shower and then you can eat."

"First you torture me! Then you make me wait to eat!" You yelled as you stomped up the stairs.

"So disrespectful." He rolled his eyes.

***
"Aizawa-San!" The girls sulked as they turned to face you once you had finished putting on your new costume.

"What?" Your head tilted to the side as your large scarf—identical to your father's—hid your mouth.

"You-You look so cool!" Mina whined as she grabbed you by the leg.

"I know." You grinned from ear to ear.

Your hair was pulled back in a tight pony tail and you wore a slick, skin tight black suit. On your hips were pockets that held your sets of ninja stars. You wore light weight, nimble shoes to increase your stealth level.

"So confident." Ochaco was also sulking as she stood awkwardly in her costume.

"Let's go kick some ass!" Mina cheered.

"You look great Uraraka." You smiled to your acquaintance.

"Thank you Aizawa-San! I just wish I had been more specific on my request form, this is way tighter than I was expecting." She rubbed her head awkwardly.

"Work it." You grinned as you patted down the sides of your suit to ensure that everything was perfectly placed as you had requested.

As you made it outside, you first noticed Bakugou. He was tall and confident as ever, and you really liked the gauntlets that adorned his arms. He was covered in orange, green, and black. You had to admit that the color really suited him.

"The fuck you looking at—eye bags?!" He demanded.

You shrugged. "I was just thinking that your mask would look better with my costume. Hand it over." You had a cold expression as you simply placed your hand out in front of you.

"No it wouldn't you fucking bitch! You're stupid face is already covered from your scarf and adding my mask would simply ruin the intelligence behind the design." He spat and shoved your hand away from him.

You quickly flipped your hand around and flashed your favorite finger at him before All Might approached your class.

"We will be drawing lots for today's battles!"

Always lots with this school.

You listened carefully for your name as he announced which team letter you were on.

"Team J will be Kirishmia Eijiro, Sero Hanta, and Aizawa Y/n, as the villains. You will be up against team H."

"Hey! Are you ready for this?" You turned and saw a boy with a bright smile that highlighted his sharp teeth.

"My father always did tell me I had a villainous side." You shrugged.

"I hope you don't mean that." He sweat dropped.
