Chapter Six: Man Up

Lauren's POV

There's nothing more manly is when your kind of on your first date, and the boy who your with kisses you more than once.

That's the kind of guy I need in my life. Someone who will make me laugh. Make me smiled. Comfort me when I'm down. Look after me when I'm old. Be himself. Treat me nicely.

All those things.

Sadly I can't forgive myself for not protecting my family the night they died. I was at a party at school.

One of the movies I found while searching for something to do. The movie I found was Phantom of the Opera.

I just started crying. This movie brings out the side of me that doesn't always come out. I mean this girl loses her father, then she falls in love with a man who wears a mask.

One song from this movie really brings tears to my eyes.

You were once my one companion
You were all that mattered
You were once a friend and father
Then my world was shattered

Wishing you were somehow here again
Wishing you were somehow near
Sometimes it seemed if I just dreamed
Somehow you would be here

Wishing I could hear your voice again
Knowing that I never would
Dreaming me of you wont help me to do
All that you dreamed I could
Passing bells and sculpted angels
Cold and momumental
Seem for you the wrong conpanions
You were warm and gentle

Too many years fighting back tears
Why cant the past just die

Wishing you were somehow here again
Knowing we must say goodbye
Try ro forgive
Teach me to live
Give me the strength to try

No more memories
No more silent tears
No more gazing accross the wasted years
Help me say goodbye
Help me say goodbye

That was magical to me. This girl is in love and in pain.

"Luna. Luna. Please answer me are you okay?" Someone asked me.

Opening my eyes up. The pack doctor and Jordan mom, the female pack consullor were in front of me. Though the movie was still playing.

"What happened?" I asked them, pausing my favorite movie.

"You blacked out, when a song came on during the movie." Jordan mom answered.

"Look I'm fine. I'm not tired. Chris and I had our first date last night-"

"Wait, are you telling me, that you went on a date with my mate. Wrong move honey." Chris's mate growled.

"Luna. Chris is not meant for you. Please do not make this a big deal when your mate is losing his mind as you and Chris are always together, he thought you left yesterday when he couldn't find you. My point is you need to stop seeing Chris and give Jordan a chance." The doctor pleaded taking a step towards me.

"None of you can tell me what to do. You may have killed everyone that was human or turned them into one of you, but Chris and I are trying to make a relationship out of each other. We have our own freedom so we don't take orders from any of you." I yelled back.

All of them look at me in disapproval.

Like I care.

A new person stepped into the tent. It was Jordan dad, and Jordan himself.

"How is it going on here?" Jordan asked.

"Not so good. Luna won't stay away from Chris and she is denying the fact your her mate." His mother replied.

"Doctor. I want guards outside my mate tent and Chris tent. If they want to see each other they have to inform the guards and my mom and the female Beta dad has to be there with them a long with the guards." Jordan commanded.

"What, that is so stupid. I don't need some bunch of crazy people hanging around with me and Chris when he and I want to be alone." I yelled out loud.

"Defiance like this mate will cause you to have an allergic reaction to a sedation needle. Now be a good little mate and continue watching your movie. I also found other movies that I thought you might like to watch. Now if you need anything please press this button and I or anyone who comes into the tent first will be here right away and get you whatever you want. For now your not allowed to leave this tent, without a guard with you or someone from this pack. It's for your own safety along with me, Chris and the whole pack. I will be come in to visit you. You will eat in here, as you know there are clothes in the back room for you to change into." Jordan explained.

Bastard. When a girl tells you to leave her alone. Leave her the hell alone. God.

All men in this world need to man up.

As all of the freaks leave my tent, you could hear them lock the flap to the tent.

Great.

Grabbing the bag full of movies, I might as well look to see what they thought I might like.

All the Avenger movies.

Maze Runner movies.

The Princess Bride.

Halloween Town series.

Field of Dreams.

Children of the corn series.

Pitch Perfect series.

Scooby Doo.

Etc.

Wow. They sure know how to impress a girl with some movies she doesn't like.

Idiots.

Half of these movies are dumb.

Field of Dreams.

Don't get me wrong. The movie is kind a good, but seriously who care about. If Chris played baseball that's fine, but making a movie about that sport. No it's uncalled for 100%.

I'm more into writing, singing, and a few other things.

For example a few of the songs I like is called Wolves by Selena Gomez.

In your eyes, there's a heavy blue
One to love and one to lose
Sweet divide, a heavy truth
Water or wine, don't make me choose

I wanna feel the way that we did that summer night (night)
Drunk on a feeling, alone with the stars in the sky

I've been running through the jungle
I've been running with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you
I've been down the darkest alleys
Saw the dark side of the moon
To get to you, to get to you
I've looked for love in every stranger
Took too much to ease the anger
All for you, yeah, all for you
I've been running through the jungle
I've been crying with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you (oh to get to you)

Your fingertips trace my skin
To places I have never been
Blindly I am following
Break down these walls and come on in

I wanna feel the way that we did that summer night
Drunk on a feeling, alone with the stars in the sky

I've been running through the jungle
I've been running with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you
I've been down the darkest alleys
Saw the dark side of the moon
To get to you, to get to you
I've looked for love in every stranger
Took too much to ease the anger
All for you, yeah, all for you
I've been running through the jungle
I've been crying with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you (oh to get to you)

I've been running through the jungle
I've been running with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you
I've been down the darkest alleys
Saw the dark side of the moon
To get to you, to get to you
I've looked for love in every stranger
Took too much to ease the anger
All for you, yeah, all for you
I've been running through the jungle
I've been crying with the wolves
To get to you, to get to you (oh to get to you)

And here's my other favorite song.

We don't talk anymore, we don't talk anymore
We don't talk anymore, like we used to do
We don't love anymore
What was all of it for?
Oh, we don't talk anymore, like we used to do

I just heard you found the one you've been looking
You've been looking for
I wish I would have known that wasn't me
'Cause even after all this time I still wonder
Why I can't move on
Just the way you did so easily

Don't wanna know
What kind of dress you're wearing tonight
If he's holding onto you so tight
The way I did before
I overdosed
Should've known your love was a game
Now I can't get you out of my brain
Oh, it's such a shame

That we don't talk anymore, we don't talk anymore
We don't talk anymore, like we used to do
We don't love anymore
What was all of it for?
Oh, we don't talk anymore, like we used to do

I just hope you're lying next to somebody
Who knows how to love you like me
There must be a good reason that you're gone
Every now and then I think you
Might want me to come show up at your door
But I'm just too afraid that I'll be wrong

Don't wanna know
If you're looking into her eyes
If she's holding onto you so tight the way I did before
I overdosed
Should've known your love was a game
Now I can't get you out of my brain
Oh, it's such a shame

That we don't talk anymore (We don't, we don't)
We don't talk anymore (We don't, we don't)
We don't talk anymore, like we used to do
We don't love anymore (We don't, we don't)
What was all of it for? (We don't, we don't)
Oh, we don't talk anymore, like we used to do

Like we used to do

Don't wanna know
What kind of dress you're wearing tonight
If he's giving it to you just right
The way I did before
I overdosed
Should've known your love was a game
Now I can't get you out of my brain
Oh, it's such a shame

That we don't talk anymore (We don't, we don't)
We don't talk anymore (We don't, we don't)
We don't talk anymore, like we used to do
We don't love anymore (We don't, we don't)
What was all of it for? (We don't, we don't)
Oh, we don't talk anymore, like we used to do

We don't talk anymore, oh, oh
(What kind of dress you're wearing tonight)
(If he's holding onto you so tight)
The way I did before
We don't talk anymore, oh, woah
(Should've known your love was a game)
(Now I can't get you out of my brain)
Ooh, it's such a shame
That we don't talk anymore

This last song reminds me of Chris and I right now.

I miss those sweet sweet lips of his. Those eyes oh those eyes.

I guess it doesn't matter anymore. When he and I want to actually be alone, we won't get it anymore due to these sick bastard of America.

I think it's time to Man Up. Or I should say Woman Up.
