Lauren's POV

Every girl first dream is to picture their first date. I finally get to have that chance with one man who understands me completely. I personally have no chance to become a mate, but I'm worried and nervous.

After last night problem with the needle. I wasn't even aloud to leave the tent to go see Chris. Apparently Chris eat food poisoning and he couldn't get out of bed for two weeks until the doctor and his mate let's him get out of bed.

So called for having our first date.

The opening to the tent opened. I quickly got out of bed, went to the bathroom, and locked myself in there to wash up.

Hopefully I can go see Chris before I get caught by Jordan or Chris's mate.

I looked at myself in the mirror, and I looked like hell.

My body aches from the needle, I feel sore from all the struggles.

I just want to see Chris.

A loud bang, scared the hell out of me. I realized it came from the other side of the door. I'm guessing my not being the bed is making them mad.

"Where is she?" A broad voice banged through the whole tent.

Keeping myself quiet. Figuring that if I don't make a sound or say anything then they will leave the tent and I can go see Chris.

Being pulled out of my thoughts the noise came to the door.

What is this guy problem.

"Mate, are you in the bathroom. If you are please tell me your okay. I need to know if your okay." Jordan whimpered.

Sounds like his wolf is going nuts, of me not being in his eye sight.

Me not answering really must of pissed him off. I didn't even turn on the light in the bathroom, let alone nothing was running.

"Alpha, The Beta daughter mate is asking for our Luna. What do we do?" I'm assuming it was the doctor talking to him.

"Is he well enough to get out of bed after he got food poisoning." Jordan growled.

"Yes, he recovered faster than I expected, and I know that he's human not one of us yet." The doctor answered.

Thank you Jesus for keeping an eye out for Chris and me.

"Keep an eye on Chris and tell the whole pack to keep a look out for my mate." Jordan growled.

His footsteps went away from the door.

So did the doctors footsteps.

Praise to heaven for being good at keeping quiet.

I quickly wash up and change into a romper, blue is the color. Blue is my favorite color to be honest. Opening the tent, I look over to where Chris tent is and found Chris laying on his bed, reading a book.

"Well, well, well. I never thought you would be into reading, as a lot of men hate to read." I laughed closing the zipper to the tent.

"Yeah laugh it up. You should know from our meeting that I always carried a book with me." Chris laughed back.

Running over to him. All I wanted to do was kiss him like the world was ending for us both. I kissed him on the lips passionately.

"I've been wanting to do that since last night." I smiled, kissing him again.

Chris smiled at me and pulled me onto his bed, putting me right next to him.

"I'm sorry for all of this. Today was post to be our date, then it got ruined when I got food poisoning, you had an allergic reaction to one of the needles. I wanted our date to be perfect." Chris sighed holding my hand.

"I know. I was in shock to hear you had got that from the food here. I was hoping to come in here to see you since I had nothing to do, but we can call this our trial first date. I'll order us pizza, rent some movies and we can see how that goes."

"I would love that. But first I want to give you this."

I looked over to see a box, I couldn't see what was inside it, but I knew Chris went through a lot of trouble to get me something special. Inside the box I found this pretty rose.

"I heard from Janet that you both loved to watch the Bachelorette. So this is my first rose to you. I hope that our next dates that I hope to have will prove our friendship will be stronger and we will maybe have our happily ever after." Chris smiled.

"I love you Chris, thank you thank you thank you." I kissed him more on the lips. "So what kind of pizza do you want, I was thinking BLT."

"Could we get half BLT and half Taco?"

"I love both kinds, so why since it's kind our first date." I kissed him once more.

Picking up the phone I smiled at Chris who was renting the movie were going to watch.

It took about another hour until our pizza arrived. So I got up on Chris bed, and layes down next to him and opened the pizza box, then I put our movie in the tv.
