Rosa's Pov

I've spend so long trying to avoid Ethan at school and even in the hallways. Every time he spots me, he looks at me like a wild Pokémon and I was the one who just walked into the tall grass.

It became clear to me that it wasn't what I did that bothered Ethan, it's what Kris said. She said my name, calling out to me, and due to Ethan being emotionally distraught, he thought of it as a negative thing and thought that somehow I had something to do with it... Even if Kris can't opened her eyes and see who messes with her.

Because the final exam was coming up, there had been many students in the library whose been studying before school, lunch time, and after school. It's the only time I can feel relaxed without having to hide from Ethan.

Before, I've been using the library to hide from people who wanted to talk to me and become my friend, then it helped me escape Nate's friends looking for me, and now... Ethan.

Before students came in to start studying this week, I've suffered all of last week when the library was emptier than usual. The librarian left me in charge while she goes to meetings and Ethan would come in to bully me. He'd pull my hair to yank me to the back of the library and hit me over and over, pushing me against the wall, and pulling my hair just to get a answer out of me and blaming me for what happened, even if he knew that wasn't the case! My answer was the same every time...

Frankly, I've been feeling more safe now than I've been last week. The only reason why I don't escape the library before was because the librarian knew I was always there, and would suspect something was wrong.

I didn't want him to get in trouble. I can still find a way to fix this! But I haven't had much luck on finding the berry...

It was the last period of the day and I was assigned to deliver papers to students who had requirements before being able to take the final exam, such as required grades and such, so many students have been studying to not only to prepare for the final, but just to be able to take the final.

Everyone was expecting this delivery, and they were already prepared. On my last stop, I waved to the students in the classroom and walked back to the hallway, where I was later pushed into the locker and pressed my head into it.

"There you are!" Ethan glared. Oh no... I was too careless to look around me! "I'm not done teaching you a lesson!"

"Ethan! Let me go!" I glared "Where is this taking you?! Beating on me whenever you get the chance. When is it going to end?!"

"Until you tell me what the hell you did to Kris!" I groaned and spotted Nate and Hugh walking the hallways and turned the corner to see us. In less than a second, they were ready to pounce and ran over. I didn't want them to blame Ethan... Only I can help him!

"Why are you quiet!?" Ethan banged my head on the locker "Answer me!" Instead of letting Ethan do what he wanted with me, I forced his hand onto the locker and swung my elbow across the cheek, making him fall on the floor and the boys stop right near us.

"I've told you time and time again. I did nothing to her!" I shouted.

"Lier! Why did she say your name then!"

"She can't see me, Ethan!" He flinched "Didn't you ever think of that!? I've always known you were too aggressive for your own good. I know you're emotionally distraught, but this will not help you!"

"Shut up! What do you know about me!? You're just a pathetic little girl who can't fight for herself!"

"Even if I am pathetic, I never cared about what you think of me. I wasn't born for your opinion!" I glared "How many times will you blame others before you blame yourself for what happened to Kris" he quickly stood up and grabbed my neck.

"Ethan!" Nate charged at him. I lifted my hand to stop him.

"Will hurting me bring you satisfaction?" I asked Ethan "I told you time and time again... I did nothing to her. You can hurt me all you want, but it won't change my answer" I pushed his arm away "I'll make you regret messing with me. I am not one to be stepped on" I huffed "Watch yourself, because I'm done being nice" I walked away without another word "Oh" I stopped to look at Nate and Hugh watching me while Ethan hid his eyes behind his long hair "Don't worry about him. I can handle myself. It's like I said before, I'll make him regret messing with me" I took out my tiny bottle of dream mist Bianca gifted me the other day just for the heck of it "So don't do anything to him. That's my job"

I walked back to the office and asked to leave early so I could go to the hospital to visit everyone. My first stop was to see Kris. I was able to leave early, so he shouldn't be there.

"It's becoming worse" I told Kris as I rubbed her forehead with a finger spread of dream mist "I'm not even close to finding the last ingredient. I'll have to tell you in my dreams and maybe you can help me. I have no other options..." I finished what I was doing and went to visit Zoroark transformed into a human again.

"What happened?" I asked, sitting down.

"I don't trust these humans..." I nodded.

"I understand, but it's the only way. Your pups are safe. So take this time to get some treatment before I find what I need" I sighed "Zoroark... I wanted to tell you something" he listened as I grabbed my knees tightly "Alder had went to the castle where N use to live. There's no more berries in sight. There is no light anywhere near the castle for them to grow. They're nothing but twigs now"

"I see..." he snorted "So I have no chance to see my pups again"

"My only choice is to wait for graduation this weekend. Once I get my diploma, I can go to find the berry!" I pressed my teeth hard "I don't have time to get my trainer card. Nothing matters to me most than to help everyone! I can't leave you this way any longer!" I shut my eyes and felt tears falling.

"Those bruises on your body..." I opened my eyes and looked at my open arms that were exposed since I removed my jacket when walking into this room "There's more than last time"

"That's why I'm in a hurry..." Zorua walked in as a little girl soon after and got excited to see me "Hey Zoey" I smiled. She showed me a new bag of berries "So many this time... You've worked hard" I smiled and looked at each berry individually "Nothing..." Zorua whined "it's okay, let's keep working hard" I stood up from my chair "I have to get home. I have a meeting with someone in my dreams" I chuckled, knowing that sounded weird to hear, and left.

I walked pass the room my Pokémon was sleeping in, still guarded by two guards "Any changes?" I asked.

"No ma'am" one of them responded. They let me enter the room where there was much more machines inside than last time. Since I could hardly see Victini, I placed the dream mist on her forehead before heading out and went home with a heavy heart. I kept my eyes open for Ethan or anyone who else who wanted to mess with me. I've had enough of drama and just need to get home and relax for a bit...

Hilda was home, cleaning while food was being prepared "Hilda?" I called, confused on why she was here "What's up? Why are you here?"

"What? I can't be here?" She stuck out her tongue "Your graduation is coming soon, so I took the next few days off so I can help you prepare" I sighed in relief and smiled.

"Oh, I just thought it was something more urgent, since graduation isn't till this weekend"

"Yeah! It's Wednesday!" I sighed "Graduation is Saturday and the outdoor final is Sunday. I never knew why Cheren made that up since opening the school, but it's a thing and you're not ready for it. Please tell me you've caught a Pokemon since I've been away. Please tell me Alder helped you!"

"Depends. Have you found that berry I'm looking for?"

"Rosa!" She whined, disappointed.

"I'm serious about this, Hilda! I'm not stopping and you won't be the one to stop me! I don't care how long it'll take. I'm going to wait until Victini is awake!"

"You know what? I don't want to talk anymore about this. Mom asked me to clean the house and make dinner, so go upstairs and do whatever you want until she comes this evening" she rolled her eyes and went back to the stove. I shook my head and went upstairs to spread the dream mist on my forehead instead of thinking about everything that's going against me in reality. I have to leave for awhile and talk to Kris and Victini waiting for me.

"I'm sorry you've had to go through so much" Kris said, laying on a cloud while I sat on the moon with Victini in my arms "To think so much burden is placed on you. Are you sure you want to go through with it?"

"I have no other choice. If it means I can help you and the others, it'll be worth it" she smiled at me and played with my hair.

"Your hair is so long... How long is mine?"

"It's pretty short. They keep it short so they can wash it faster" she nodded and looked down.

"I believe in my heart that you'll succeed. Modella flowers are very common in every forest across the land, living deep within those forest. Usually, people don't enter those forest that far deep, knowing it gets dark and dangerous. The protectors of those forest keep intruders from getting closer to it. Even if some Pokémon fear humans, they don't want them to get near it. Somehow, Ethan and I entered too deep into a forest and found this particular flower. I wish I can tell him that everything is okay now, because you're here to help" she smiled at me "But he won't believe you... I'm glad you are patient. I promise I'll make it up to you for helping us. I'll give Ethan a piece of my mind"

"It's not his fault. He's just concerned about you. I know what it's like to be emotionally distraught" she shook her head.

"That doesn't give him the right to behave the way he has. I've heard what he said... I know what to tell him. I'll teach him for acting stupid" she played with my hair "Wake up. I'll be with you shortly" I nodded and opened my eyes to bring myself back to reality after saying my goodbyes for now.

Mom entered my room soon after I opened my eyes "Hey there" She smiled as I sat up and wiped my eyes "It's almost your big day" my eyes were droopy. I can't seem to keep them awake... Did I put too much dream mist on me..? "Are you okay?"

"I'm going back to sleep... zzz" I passed out and was brought into the dream world again. I was in the castle from the other day! Only this time it was dark and destroyed "This can't be the same place..." I walked around the large place and managed to find a room filled with plants! I gasped and looked around, seeing so many Lum berries around!

"There's so many here, but I know the berries are gone" I frowned "Alder told me he was going to search for the goddesses that took care of N, but who knows how long that will take. I need their help soon..."

"This room has always been our treasure" I flinched and looked back at two beautiful girls standing by the doorway, looking at the garden around us. I recognized them... N told me their names before "It is filled with many kinds of berries that can help a Pokémon and even humans recover. Our favorite is the Lum Berry" the blonde girl, Concordia, picked a Lum Berry and handed it to me. She can see me? "Isn't this what you needed?" I took the berry and frowned.

"Yes... I need at least three. I'm trying to save two Pokémon and a girl" I admit, holding the berry close "I need help"

"With those who are kind to the world, the world will be kind to it. You will have to be patient. Gifts may not be rushed" the pink haired girl, Anthea, smiled. Gifts..? "You are dedicated and beautiful" she picked up my hair to play with "Your heart is made of gold, but the outside is made of coal" she frowned "You care for others, and it's obvious, but you don't care about yourself at all"

"I-I..." she moved away from me.

"You blame yourself for everything and only want to help others. You suffer alone, just for the sake of keeping others from getting hurt, but you don't realize this at all" Concordia pet my head "because of your beautiful heart, you are worth it" she pointed at the berry in my hand "all good things come to those who wait... just wait" Anthea leaned over to me.

"A little piece of advice. The way to help your friends is by giving the medicine to them in the same way they first got infected" she smiled and showed me the book from the library.

"That book!"

"We trust you to keep those notes close while we protect this book" Anthea smiled "We know you'll do great things in the future" I snapped my eyes open and saw my mom standing over me, shaking me with a worried look on her face.

"Rosa? Are you okay?" I sat up and dusted off the dream mist from my forehead.

"Yes... Sorry, I just haven't had much sleep" Hilda walked into the room and leaned on the door.

"Don't go worrying us like that" she put her phone on her ear "Yeah, Nevermind. She ended up waking up. We'll call if we need help" she hung up and walked up to me to touch my cheek that felt numb "I had to call an ambulance because you wouldn't wake up no matter how hard we shook you or how hard I slapped your cheek" She... slapped me?

"I didn't mean to worry you. I put too much dream mist on me" I admit. She crossed her arms and sighed.

"Don't do that. You might end up losing your memory" R-Really!? "Maybe. Hilbert has his own Munna who sucked his dreams in order to keep him from overthinking and focus on his work. I don't recommend it, but you seem to be using the mist for a different purpose" I yawned "Don't do it again. We don't want you ending up like your Pokémon"

"I can promise that won't happen, if I do" I stood up and walked pass her "Let Anthea and Concordia know" she widened her eyes and watched me walking away from her. I yawned again and looked back at her and my mom looking at me "Um... Can I be excused for a bit? I need to take a walk"

"Okay... Be careful, please" mom frowned. I nodded and left the house even if I just came home not too long ago. I should be spending time with my family, since I haven't seen them in a while. Instead, my brain was too foggy from dreaming so heavily. I couldn't even hear the person calling me from behind me.

I stopped walking and saw Dawn jogging over to me, already losing breath with only a small jog "Rosa" she breath heavily. I turned to face her completely "I've been meaning to talk to you" I yawned.

"What's up?" She collected herself and stood up after leaning on her knees "don't push yourself"

"I've been wanting to talk to you for so long, but it's like you've been hiding for so long" I frowned.

"Sorry, everything's just been weird" I admit "Want to talk right now?" Her eyes lit up.

"Y-Yeah! Totally!" She smiled happily. I smiled and walked over to the outlook to look over at the pretty view of the route outside of the city. It use to be my favorite spot to be with Nate... Thinking about him all of a sudden, I thought back at him giving me useful advice. So strange... Why would he bother? Him being so friendly is... a bit concerning. What is he up to?
