Our story starts in vaccuo (except bad spelling) a small kid named y/n is standing with his father f/n the young boy walked away from his father into a temple later the young boys father came looking for the boy but dies in the temple.
Y/n POV
I was wandering around the temple and then I got lost and got scared and broke down in a corner crying when a beam of light came out of nowhere

And a floating helmet and cape appeared in front of me and said "hello my child I am sorry to inform you that you're father has died in my temple due to traps." I started crying but the cloak said " I will help you my child I will train you to become the strongest sorcerer." I lighted up at the offer and  accepted it.

13 years later is now 17 years old now
The cloak who I now know is named nabu he said to me "my Apprentice it is now time for you to restore order." He went and gave me me a suit and told me to leave.
For now on I am doctor fate.

I teleported to vale to Restore order to this place starting with a man named Roman torchwick I teleported to him and saw him robbing a dust store I walked behind his goon and blasted one of them and said "I am looking for the one named Roman." The goons immediately pointed to a man in a white coat I told him "you will answer for your crimes." And in response he told me " well Goldie I'm not really in the mood for this neo get him."
Out of no where a pink and brown hair girl rushed at me with an umbrella and pulled to top off to reveal a blade underneath and swiped at me I blocked it with an symbol of fate I then picked her up with my telekinesis and threw her at Roman they both got up Roman dusting his coat off and said " you know how hard it is to find a dry cleaner around here." I responded by silence Roman said "tough crowd two silent people lighten up." I sent down 4 fate cross on each of them immobilizing them but right as that happened a fire ball from a girl I know as cinder blasted the cross of them and the ran away I flew towards the ship cinder was on and yelled at her "cinder you have broken fate by stealing a part of the fall maiden for that you will die." I sent a blast of lightning at her and she responded with a fire ball her get away driver flew her away I cursed at my self I failed my first task then I sense him ozma I see him below me he seems happy to see me he says " ahh so nabu has a new doctor who would you happen to be." I responded by saying "my name is y/n I am the new protector of fate what do you want ozma you wouldn't come see me without a purpose so what is it." He responded by saying "I would like you to join my school." "What would I get out of this," ozma responses is "free living place and free food." I said "deal."and we shook on it.
