3rd Person POV

Olga and the rest of the Dark Elves managed to put some distance between them and Garan.

Once they were sure they were far enough Olga decided that they should stop to wait for the king and his generals and the white wizard.

Chloe: My queen, why must we wait for the humans?

Olga: They risked their lives to save us. It's only fair that we wait.

Chloe nodded, accepting her queen's decision.

They eventually heard the sounds of horses approaching.

They turned and saw (Y/N) and his group on their horses.

The Dark Elves stood up to greet the group.

(Y/N) took off his helmet, making most of the Dark Elf women including Olga and Chloe blush at his handsome features.

(Y/N): Everyone alright?

Olga: Y-Yes thank you.

He nodded.

(Y/N): We must move, they'll be looking for us.

Olga nodded and she along with the rest of the Dark Elves saddled up and they continued on their journey to Verenigd.

Timeskip

It is now nighttime and everyone is now resting after the long day they had.

The warriors of Verenigd managed to hunt some food for the Dark Elves which they were thankful for and got a fire going.

And just for a precaution (Y/N) asked Gandalf to put a barrier around them which he gladly obliged.

Now, the Verenians and the Dark Elf Queen along with her right-hand woman Chloe are sitting around the fire having a conversation.

He even introduced his friends to the Dark Elves who they were honored to meet.

Olga: You don't know how grateful I am for your rescue. If you all hadn't been there, my people and I would've been giving a fate worse than death.

(Y/N): Not a problem, it was the right thing to do.

Olga: But there's something I don't understand. Why are we only hearing about another kingdom called Verenid now? Where have you been for the past hundred years?

(Y/N): It's pronounced Verenigd. And as to why you're only hearing about us now is because our people have the technology, knowledge, and magic that not even you or Celestine has and because of the chaos that was slowly consuming the lands, my ancestors hid our kingdom away from all of Eostia fearing that both sides will do more harm than good in the war if we were involved. It was only until I took over the throne that the rules changed.

Olga: I see.

Chloe: (angry) But that would have saved a lot of Dark Elves!

(Y/N): (annoyed) And would've caused more citizens of the seven kingdoms to suffer, same goes for the Dark Elves if we sided with the seven kingdoms.

Chloe merely grumbled to herself not saying anything else.

They all conversed for a while longer until they all decided to go to sleep for the night with Tatsumi taking the first watch.

About an hour later Chloe woke up and left the barrier with permission from Tatsumi who was still on watch.

She left to do her "business" a few trees away from the camp.

Once she was done she felt a knife on her throat and a hand around her mouth preventing her from screaming.

She was then surrounded by five bandits, one of them holding her hostage.

Bandit: Look at what we got here boys! Some fresh Dark Elf meat!

The rest of the bandits cheered with lecherous smiles on their faces.

Chloe was frozen.

She was a fool to leave her sword back at the camp.

She was a fool for letting her guard down.

And now she was going to be raped by these filthy humans!

Memories of her days as a slave began to flood back into her head and tears rolled down her face as she felt something that she didn't want to feel again.

Fear.

She closed her eyes hoping that it will all be over soon.

SLICE!

Chloe's eyes widened as she felt the bandit's hand remove itself from her mouth and the knife away from her throat.

She turned to see the bandits' head fall from his shoulders.

His body then fell to the ground revealing (Y/N) with his Infinity Blade unsheathed, covered in blood, and in a horizontal slash position.

Oh! And he did not look happy.

The bandits along with Chloe looked at (Y/N) in fear.

(Y/N)'s eyes softened as he turned to Chloe.

(Y/N): Are you alright?

Chloe stayed silent and only nodded.

(Y/N) sighed in relief and then turned back to the bandits with eyes hardening again.

The bandit's shock turned to anger as they unsheathed their swords.

Bandit 2: Bastard!

They all charged at the king with the intent of killing him.

(Y/N) winded his arm back and with one mighty swing of his sword, he broke all of the bandit's swords.

The bandits stared at their now broken swords in fear and shock.

(Y/N):(angry) Now, you have twenty seconds to run before I start killing every one of you.

The bandits did not hesitate and started running.

Little they know is that they weren't going to get very far.

(Y/N): (calmly) Twenty.

A red aura surrounded (Y/N)'s entire body, his eyes turned blood red and he raised his right hand and a black and red energy ball appeared on his hand.

He then threw the energy ball at the group causing an explosion turning them all to ash along with a few trees.

He took a deep breath and the red aura faded away.

He swiped his blade getting the blood of it and sheathed it.

He turned to Chloe who was still shocked at the events that have unfolded.

Chloe: Y-Y-You saved me.

(Y/N): As I said before. I won't let anyone, not even you be subjected to a life worse than death. Now let's get back to camp before the others start worrying about us.

She quietly nodded and they both made their way back to camp.

They both walked in silence until Chloe decided to break the silence.

Chloe: I'm sorry.

(Y/N): About?

Chloe: About the way I treated you. You saved me, my queen, and my people risking your life along with your allies and yet you came to our rescue anyway (ashamed) and I treated you horribly.

(Y/N): (smiles) It's alright I didn't take any of it to heart. And I fully understand your hatred for my kind especially with the way they treated your kind... although I can't help but feel like your hatred for humanity is on a more personal level.

Chloe's eyes widened and was going to say something until (Y/N) interrupted her.

(Y/N): I won't ask what happened, it's not my business.

They both fell back into silence and they almost made it to camp until Chloe spoke again.

Chloe: I'm only half Dark Elf.

(Y/N) stopped and turned to Chloe with a raised eyebrow.

Chloe: My mother was a Dark Elf, my (angry) 'father' was a human.

(Y/N) So you're a hybrid?

Chloe nodded.

Chloe: My mother was a slave and my father was her slaver. He raped her along with many other men and then nine months later I was born.

She didn't know why she was telling him this especially since she just met him today but something compelled her to tell him.

Chloe: My memories of my mother are vague but I remember her face, her voice, and how much she loved me.

She smiled at the memory until it eventually faded and was replaced with a frown.

Chloe: At the age of 5 my father sold me to a man named John Mandeville and for the last 10 years I was subjected to rape and torture and slavery all at the hands of humans.

She then felt her tears run down her face.

Chloe: (tearfully) I never got to see my mother again! I don't know if she's still alive or dead or if she still remembers me. I searched for her for years but I couldn't find her anywhere!

She then began to sob.

Without words (Y/N) walked up to Chloe and hugged her.

Chloe was surprised by the gesture but she eventually returned it.

Little did they both know was that Olga was listening to their conversation behind a tree.

She had been watching over Chloe ever since she stepped out of the barrier.

She would've stepped in to save Chloe from the bandits but luckily (Y/N) did that for her.

She was surprised at (Y/N)'s sudden appearance, she guessed that he had the same idea as she did.

She was also surprised at the level of power he possessed.

She was also surprised at the fact that Chloe trusted him enough to tell him her past and how he comforted her.

She couldn't help but smile at the king's kindness.

She's seen many cruel humans throughout her years and not once has she seen a human like (Y/N) before.

He was kind and caring to everyone and she means EVERYONE not just his people or humans.

But if the need arises, especially to his enemies, according to what Gandalf said (who she actually had a conversation with) was ruthless, and unforgiving, never showing mercy to his enemies.

He truly was the leader Verenigd and hopefully, Eostia needed and the worst enemy that any wannabe tyrants like Vault did not want to encounter.

And maybe because of him, she'll realize that not all humans are bad and that there can finally be peace in Eostia.

She quietly left back to camp knowing that Chloe is safe with (Y/N).

Back with (Y/N) and Chloe, they separated and the Dark Elf hybrid wiped her tears and smiled.

Chloe: Thank you.

(Y/N) nodded.

(Y/N): What happened next? If you don't mind me asking.

Chloe: I escaped and Queen Olga found me. She is like the mother I haven't had for so long, I haven't left her side ever since.

(Y/N): (thoughts) At least she is not completely cruel.

A thought then came to his mind.

(Y/N): (out loud) Chloe?

She turned to (Y/N).

(Y/N): Do you remember your mother's name?

Chloe: If I remember correctly her name was... Lilah Belackwaw why?

(Y/N) puts a hand on her shoulder and smiles.

(Y/N): We're going to be saving a lot of people in this war. I'm only asking because once I find her I will know what her name is.

Chloe's eyes widened.

Chloe: You would find her for me?

He nodded.

(Y/N): Every child needs their mother. We will find her Chloe you have my word on it.

Chloe began to tear up again.

Chloe: (smiles) Thank you.

(Y/N) nodded and they headed back to camp and turned in for the night.

The Next Morning

It is now morning and Olga's eyes fluttered open due to the morning sunlight.

She sat up and stretched, feeling the satisfying pops of her joints.

She then hears the sounds of children giggling.

She turns and is surprised to see (Y/N) was also awake.

Olga: (thoughts) It must have been his turn to keep watch.

She stood up and approached (Y/N) and she saw that he was not alone.

It was a couple of Dark Elf children.

They all had the biggest smiles on their faces, something that she hasn't seen in a long time.

(Y/N) held a little girl's hand with her palm facing upwards.

He grabbed a handful of dirt and puts it in the little girl's hand and focused.

He then lifts his hand making the dirt float up out of the girl's hand.

He then twirled his hand making the dirt form into a mini twister.

He then made the mini twister fly up into the air disappearing into the clouds.

The children witnessed the trick with awed looks on their faces.

Olga couldn't but smile at the scene.

One of the children noticed her.

Kid: Lady Olga!

Olga: Good morning children I'm sorry I have to ruin the moment but I need a moment with Sir (Y/N).

Children: (sad) Awwwww.

(Y/N): (smiles) Don't worry I'll show you all more tricks later.

The little Dark Elf girl he showed his recent trick to spoke.

Little girl: Pwomise?

(Y/N): Pwomise. Now, do me a favor and wake up everyone else. We'll be moving soon.

Kids: (salutes) Yes sir!

He chuckled as the children ran off to do the task the warrior king assigned them.

Olga: I hope they weren't a bother to you.

(Y/N): Children will be children full of curiosity and tons of energy. It's not a problem if anythingI enjoyed their company.

Olga smiled and then turned to (Y/N).

Olga: Thank you.

(Y/N) raised an eyebrow.

(Y/N): For what?

Olga: For protecting Chloe from those bastards last night. And for comforting her as well, if I'm completely honest I'm surprised she told you about her past. The only person who knew about it was me.

(Y/N): I was surprised too but I'm glad she told me. If we are to win this war we need to trust each other.

Olga: I agree... Did you mean it?

(Y/N): Did I mean what?

Olga: The promise you made to Chloe. You do realize that there is a possibility that she might be dead right? And if she is alive her mind might be broken beyond belief.

(Y/N): Maybe, but it would give her closure and we have healers to help her if her mind is broken and to answer your question yes, I did mean what I said and believe me when I say that a (L/N) never goes back on their word.

Olga: (smiles) Good.

Timeskip

A few hours later the convoy finally made it to their destination.

(Y/N): We're here.

The Dark Elves looked around confused.

Chloe: Uhhh where is it exactly?

(Y/N) gestures to the large mountain in front of them.

The Dark Elves deadpanned.

Olga: You're not serious are you?

The Verenians laughed at the Dark Elves' confusion.

(Y/N): This is the barrier, we'll open it.

(Y/N) turns to Gandalf.

(Y/N): Gandalf, would you kindly open the barrier?

Gandalf nodded and then lifted up his staff and it glowed.

The mountain then began to fade away revealing the Verenians home.

Verenigd.

The Dark Elves' mouths gaped at the sight of the beautiful kingdom.

The Verenians smirked at the sight of the shocked Dark Elves.

(Y/N): Now, before we step inside...

(Y/N) raised his left hand and a red glyph appeared on his hand.

All of a sudden Olga, Chloe, and the female soldiers were now wearing cloaks leaving nothing uncovered.

(Y/N):... You'll be wearing these until we can get you all proper armor and clothing.

Chloe: What's wrong with our clothes?

(Y/N): Well-

Akame: You all look like strippers with those clothes on.

Dark Elf Females: (angry) WHAT!!!

(Y/N): (angry) AKAME!!!

Akame shrugged her shoulders.

Akame: Am I wrong?

(Y/N) sighed in annoyance.

(Y/N): That's the Akame way of saying but yes you do.

The Dark Elf women glared at (Y/N) and he raised his hands.

(Y/N): I'm not meaning to offend you all but your outfits are a bit inappropriate. It's most likely the reason why almost every man in Eostia ogle at you and possibly wish to defile you because they can see EVERYTHING.

Olga: I see... very well we will accept your generosity.

(Y/N): Thank you now let's get inside.

They all then began their walk into the kingdom.

They eventually approached the town and what the Dark Elves saw shocked them.

They saw humans and elves of different kinds living together in harmony

They even see a few monsters similar to the monsters of Garan only they were more civilized in both clothing and in personality.

Olga: I can't believe it....

(Y/N): We Verenians have always been taught to embrace others no matter who or what they are. It took a while but the citizens embraced our new residents and I'm sure they will embrace you all too.

???: (Y/N)!

They turned to see a couple of children of different species running towards (Y/N).

He knelt down and all the kids gave him a group hug.

Worgen child (male): You're back!

Night Elf child (male): Did you kick some Black Dog butt?!

(Y/N): (smiles) I sure did they weren't that much of a challenge anyway and I have no doubt the rest of them will be the same.

The children cheered because their king/big brother is awesome.

Orc child (female): Big brother can you play with us?

Children: Pleeeaaassseee?

(Y/N): Sorry kids but I can't right now, I still have work to do.

Children: (sad) AAAAWWWW!

(Y/N): But don't worry we'll play later.

A Panderian cub approached (Y/N) holding up her paw with her pinky stretched out.

Panderian child (female): Pwomise?

(Y/N) latched onto her pinky with his making a pinky promise.

(Y/N): Pwomise.

The children cheered.

Olga and Chloe watched the whole scene with a smile on their face and if anybody was paying attention they would see their red cheeks.

???: My king!

They all turned to see the children's parents running over.

They all bowed and began apologizing for their children's behavior.

(Y/N) stood up ns raised his hand and they all went silent.

He smiled.

(Y/N): At ease citizens, it's no trouble at all.

The parents sighed in relief.

The Verenian children then noticed the Dark Elf children peeking out from behind their parent's legs.

The children smiled joyfully and they approached them making the Dark Elf children hide behind their parents.

Human child (female): Hey your Dark Elves right?

Human child (male): So cool we've never met Dark Elves before.

A female troll child held up a ball.

Troll child (female): Want to play with us?

The Dark Elf children were shocked, to say the least since they wouldn't get this type of treatment from anywhere else in Eostia.

They all looked up to their parents.

Dark Elf child (male): Can I mama?

Dark Elf child (female): Can I go play too papa?

The parents were a bit iffy on letting their children go play with the Verenian children so they looked to their queen who gave them a nod of approval.

The parents albeit reluctantly let their children go play causing them all to cheer.

The children then ran off to another part of town to play with their new friends.

(Y/N) Turned to the town.

(Y/N): EVERYONE GATHER AROUND!

The townspeople heeded their king and gathered around in front of him.

(Y/N): Everyone, our mission was a success!

The citizens began to cheer but the king was quick to silence them with a raised hand.

(Y/N): I understand your excitement but there is no time to celebrate the war isn't over yet it is only the beginning. Soldiers, tomorrow we will march to Feoh at dawn!

The soldiers nodded.

(Y/N): For now, let's get our new visitors settled in. Those who have volunteered to be their caretakers, please guide them to your homes!

The citizens then began to guide the Dark Elves to their homes.

The only ones who haven't been settled in yet we're Olga and Chloe.

(Y/N) turned to his generals and the white wizard.

(Y/N): Get some rest, my friends, you've earned it. But remember we march at dawn.

They nodded and then left for their homes.

He then turned to the last two Dark Elves.

(Y/N): We have some spare rooms in the castle. You two will stay there.

They nodded and the three of them made their way to the castle.

Once they made it to the castle they stepped inside and once again (Y/N) was tackled to the ground and got his face licked by his three pets who were happy to see their master again.

This shocked the two Dark Elves not at just the sight of the three pets but also how (Y/N) was still alive after being tackled by the three large creatures.

(Y/N): (laughing) For god's sake down guys down!

The three pets backed off as their master stood up and pets them.

(Y/N): (smiles): It's good to be home.

The three pets then noticed the two Dark Elves and got in front of their master in a protective manner and snarled at the two making them step back.

Chloe unsheathed her sword and stood in front of Olga ready to fight the three large creatures even if she had no chance of winning.

(Y/N) then rushed in front of his pets with his arms out stopping them in their tracks.

(Y/N): Easy! Easy! They're our friends, not our enemies!

The three pets calmed down but they still had their guard up.

Chloe, seeing that the three monsters are not a threat anymore sheathes her sword.

(Y/N) then gestures the Dark Elves to come closer.

The Dark Elves complied albeit warily because of the three dangerous beasts in front of them.

(Y/N) puts both of their palms out in front of them.

Olga: What are you doing?!

(Y/N): If you're going to be staying here for a while they need to trust you. Now don't panic, let them come to you and more importantly don't look into their eyes.

Olga turned away and Chloe closed her eyes as they both kept their hands out.

The one who responded to the gesture was Malka who slowly approached the two Dark Elves.

She began to sniff the Dark Elves' hands and once seeing that they weren't a threat she puts her head on both of their hands shocking the two.

Chloe opened her eyes and Olga turned to the large creature she was petting.

Chloe: Wow.

Olga: What creature is this?

(Y/N): That's Malka she's an Indominus Rex. She was created in a lab by humans.

Draven then approached Chloe making curious chirps and then nuzzled her seeing that Malka didn't see them as a threat.

Chloe: (smiles) And who's this?

(Y/N): (smiles) That's Draven, he's an Indoraptor.

Sirid then approached Olga making curious hoot sounds.

(Y/N): And that's Sirid he's a-

Olga: Darkborn.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened in surprise.

(Y/N): You know what he is?

Olga: I've heard tales of these creatures but I thought they were extinct.

(Y/N) frowned.

(Y/N): They almost are, he is the last of his kind.

???: Luckily (Y/N) was able to save him.

They all turned to see Elsa approaching.

Elsa pets Sirid as he nuzzled her.

Elsa: His family was murdered by human hunters. It was luck that (Y/N) was close by to stop them from killing Sirid.

Elsa then sent the three monsters away and turned to her husband with a smile.

Elsa: I'm so glad you're okay.

(Y/N) smiled and they both kissed, making two Dark Elves' eyes widened.

The two separated and they turned to the two Dark Elves.

(Y/N): (smiles) Olga, Chloe this is Elsa... My wife.

CRACK! SHATTER!

That was the sounds of Chloe and Olga's hearts shattering into a million pieces.

Chloe and Olga: (thoughts) Wife?

Elsa: (smiles) It's a pleasure to meet you both. I hope you enjoy your stay in our home.

Chloe and Olga: (sarcastically) Whoopie.
