I woke up this morning to see a fancy new dress on the end of my bed. There was a note with it  "Put this on and go to the front door". I did what the note told me. When I got to the front door Jack was there in a scabbers outfit  "You to huh Jack?" "Yea I want Kenzie and David to stay out of the orphanage and the refuge. What about you?" "I want Race, Les and Spot from the refuge. Now I have to date Delancey and crush Spot."

When we got to the world all of the New York newsies were there including Spot, Les, and Race. We walked in around back and when I saw Oscar I felt my stomach churning  Jack walked out first, him and David talked then when Had  was led away by the bulls Weasel came and got Oscar and me. "Pretend to laugh at what I say when we get out there and look at me with love in your eyes if you don't do what I say it's of to the orphanage. I walked out laughing when they heard my laughter the all looked at me.

My head was turned to the side of his face so the couldn't see it was me. But when Morris dipped me to kiss me everybody saw my face. His lips weren't even as soft as Spots. When  he pulled away I looked to the newsies. I saw Les, and he was crying  Spot and Race were trying to get to me. Weasel told the bull to let them through. Race was first to talk."Why Luna why would you do this to me?" "My mane is Hope not Luna"

Every word was like knives in my body Race walked away then it was just  Spot  and me. "I thought you loved me Luna?  "Did you get the letter I gave to Jack to give to one of you?" He shook his head. "Spot Conlon look at me. I love you I always will I'm only doing this for your own good. I don't want to-" He stoped my talking with a slap to the face.

"NO! I CAME HERE BECAUSE OF YOU NOW YOU RUNNING OFF WITH THE RATS? WHAT HAPPENED TO FOREVER AND ALWAYS LUNA? I HATE YOU I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN. I WAS A TOTAL IDIOT  FOR THINKING YOU LOVED ME! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" I stood there shocked every word he just said was like knives in my heart. When I found my self able to walk I ran away crying.

When I was done crying I started walking till I heard screaming. I looked across the street  to find Sara, David, and Les in the alley way, I didn't care if I was sent to the orphanage, I needed to help my friends. I ran to the ally and started to fight the Delaney brudders, but one of the grabbed me but before they could d  anything I saw Jack fighting them off. He went to help Davey up off the ground. " Well, I guess we can't  be something we ain't."

"Scabs?" "No smart.", David, Sara, Les, Jack and I walked to Denton's house. While we were there we made a plan to make our own paper. It was my job to go to the lodging house to tell the boys. When I got there and walked in everything went quiet. "Hey no traitors allowed." I pushed passed them and found Race in our bed. "Ryan I know you don't want to talk but listen to me. I only did those thing cause I didn't want you all to go to the refuge. I hated knowing that i had to betray you guys. Anthony you're the only family I got left I can't loose you either."  He pulled me into a hug. "Now time to convince Brooklyn." I walked down yards the harbor only to be stopped. I pushed passed them to find Spot up in his nest. I climbed up there. Well here goes nothing. "I thought I told you I-" I cut him off with a kiss. "I'm sorry I did that  to you I just didn't want you to go to the refuge." "I would take the refuge over flooding you any day" "Jack's got a plan come to the park later today." With that I left.
