Chapter 11:Rain Falls

This is the last chapter of The One That Got Away. I'm sorry if you didn't like it or it didn't fill out the way you wanted it, but this last chapter has many more feel's then the last because it is in third person.

Storm clouds formed up ahead as a city full of people gather to watch as one of their saviors laid down to rest one last time. People opened there umbrella's as the dreary clouds started to drizzle. Four teens stand in the front as there face's stricken with grief was holding on to one another in tears. Until today people didn't know the real sacrifice of a superhero, and what it meant to really protect the people of Paris. Four people were chosen to carry this coffin. Her cousin Bridgette, Her father Tom, her mother Sabine and Ms. Bustier carried this hard burden. It was red and decorated in black dots. To remind everyone who they were putting to rest. They placed the coffin in front of the statue ment for this young heroine. Grief filled everyone's mind first, but then so did resentment and anger. Who in there right minds would kill such a beloved girl like Marinette?

A middle aged man walks up to the front of the crowd with solemn look on his face. "Today we honor a very special person. One person that has gone far to keep this city safe for us. One person who gave this city hope when we fell into darkness. Today as Mayor Bourgeois would like to dedicate this day to remember and honor the fallen heroine Ladybug." He stepped aside as a brunette girl dressed in black walked up with tears falling from her chin. "Marinette is so many thing. She is kind and she is selfless. She is always ready to challenge someone if they knew they were wrong, and she was always ready to defend her friends against the power of wrong. Marinette was funny and bright she was strong and brave. Most importantly she is my best friend. I couldn't ask for a better person to be by my side, and when she made me Rena Rouge it was like a dream come true. If she could here me now I would like to thank her for a lot of things." Alya start's to cry as she transform's and sit's down.

A boy with green head phones wrapped around his neck and a tear stained face walked up "I couldn't ask for a much better hero. Ladybug was strong and brave. She gave everyone a chance. When she gave me my miraculous I was afraid of screwing up, but she gave me the encouragement to keep trying. I'm glad to have known Marinette she knew how to care for everyone, no matter how mean or awkward they could be. I couldn't ask for a better friend." Nino choked on the last few words as he transformed and sat down by Rena. A blonde girl with her hair down, and her hands shaking grabbed the mike from Nino's hand "I--I was the meanest person to Marinette, but she still gave me a chance. Even though I made her life a living hell. I-I was a terrible person, and Marinette still saw it in her heart to try and make me a better person. I am ashamed that I walked around making Marinette's life terrible when she risked her neck for me everyday. I n-never hated Marinette I actually was jealous. She had this amazing set of parents that gave her there attention everyday, and her friends loved her for her not for her money status. She always walked around with a smile on he face and her heart ready to be given away to anyone in need. After I found out she to had a crush on Adrien I was even more jealous then before I mean she extremely talented, and beautiful.Some--Something I'll never compare to. I'm sorry Marinette that I did what I did I just admired you in a way that was rude and selfish." Chloe sat down and looked at her miraculous as Rena touched her shoulder "It's OK Chloe I think she would've forgiven you knowing Marinette." Chloe puts it on and as she transforms she sobs even worse and covers her face with her hands. The last of the four is a blonde boy with anger and grief all over his face.

"I want to remind Paris of the most beautiful, most pretties, and the most amazing partner I had ever met. She strong-minded and stubborn to anything she couldn't do. I remember the day we met she came in really shy and unsure, but when she saw the open challenge she took it even though she didn't know if she was gonna win or not. Every fight that we fought together I learned more and more about the lady I came know and love. When it came to the good times we joked and played (memories of Chat and Ladybug playing Tag. "OK Chat stop hiding this isn't funny."I cover her eye's as I chuckle"Can't find me Buggaboo?" "Chat for the last time stop calling me Buggaboo!"She stammer's "What ever you say Buggaboo.) And through the tough time that we shared ("I don't understand why he yelled at me." I sobbed "It's OK Kitty he just mad right now sides you have me to depend on." She smiled.) She was always there when I fell on my knees, and I was for her. ("I didn't mean too." She sobbed I pat her on the back as I shush her "Its okay Milady its not your fault he shouldn't have gotten that mad in the first place.") She was the most admired person in all of Paris I-I-I just wish I had more time with her. " Adrien transforms and walks over to the coffin and grabs her hand and whisper's "If you could hear me I miss you Princess." And he kisses her hand as the rain begins to pour.

As Time passes people leave leaving gifts and apology's to the grief-stricken teens rain pours as if in grief for the loss of the Miraculous teen that this world had once known.
