Writer
Proverbs 16:24, ESV:
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
"Get some rest; you must be tired from writing," one of my friends commands me from the other line.
I smiled at what she said and asked. "Is God also resting while He writes my own story?"
"What do you mean?" she asked me back, full of confusion.
"I write this one for God, to share His words with those who don't know Him. And I know God is writing my own story too. But He never thinks about resting because He ensures that He writes it carefully for me. Therefore, I will rest after I'm done with it. The rest will always be there, but this one can't wait because it can help all the people out there discover His kindness through my writing and through His words." I explained it to her clearly.
God is our true writer, the one who didn't rest and never gets tired of giving us the genuine ending that we truly deserve. If the story or any fictional book you've read has a beautiful ending, you will have that too in your own story. Don't be jealous if others have it, and don't even think that happily ever after only happens in fairy tales because it also happens in real life—and He will be the one to prove it to you. Just trust your own writer, because he will not let you have a bad story that the world can read. You are the protagonist in your own story, and your writer makes sure of it. Let the world read the sweet words like honey that He writes and let them see your own happy ever after, which is too safe and healthy.
