His Purpose
Psalm 138:8 (ESV) says:
“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.”
My colleague has a stable life. My friends find a job and live happily. My old classmates had built a small business and made money. All of them find their purpose early, which is to provide for their families with their jobs. It is also easy for them to help other people because they have something to offer. While me, what I can offer to others when I don't have a stable work and money that I can give to them. Here I am still questioning my purpose for living on this earth, and it gives me pure pressure. Do I live here to make a sin or mistake and die after? No! I don't want it to happen.
I always felt the hole in my heart because of that—not until I heard this homily from a priest: "You are here because you live for a purpose." God has a purpose for you, which you can discover by walking through His life. And that made me ask myself again, "So what is my purpose in living this life?"
Upon living day by day, I saw my purchase book. I opened it and read some motivational words that were written, which I then realized. This is one of my purposes. To write, to use my talent, and to share it with others. He gave me this to inspire others, so I must inspire them through my words because God inspires me with His and His goodness. If the people around me have a purpose, I do too. And it is for me to discover, not to wait without doing anything.
You live with a purpose, and you'll die with a purpose. Come to Him now, and your purpose will knock on your door. And make sure to take it and live with it.
