Delay Is A Blessing
Psalm 46:10,
Be still and know that I am God.
Waking up in the morning, John is cursing because he's 30 minutes late for his appointment. He's about to meet his business partner, but, sad to say, he's trapped in traffic. He said bad words and even cursed God for letting it happen to him. John thinks that God is being unfair because he might lose a huge chance for his company's sake through that business partner he's about to meet. Not until in the middle of arguing with God in his mind, his secretary told him that he must not be coming to the said business meeting because there's a ransacking happening in there. And some of the suspects are bringing guns, and he might encounter them and lose his life. Also, his business partner informed his secretary that they'd meet next time due to what happened.
John was relieved by what he heard; that's when he realized that his delay had a purpose, and he needs to thank God for that.
That story served as our lesson and reflection. Not all delays mean God is unfair, and those delays serve as your blessings and savior.
When God doesn't give you what you're praying for and you're too jealous that others have it, just be still. Learn to clap your hands for them because your prayers are on their way; that prayer will find you if it is for you, not harm you, and will give you so much joy in life.
Not all delays are bad or sh*t, because all delays are blessings. Your delay is a blessing; it means God's preparing something bigger and better for you than what you're aiming for. Be still and trust His will.
