Always Perfect
Psalm 139:14;
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
It happens after the mass. I came home and looked at myself in the mirror. I saw my bruises, pores, and any scars on my face. I also noticed that my skin isn't glowing like others' and that my lips are dry and pale. My hair isn't that healthy; in short, I don't have a perfect body. But when I remember what Bruno Mars said in his song, "Girl, you're amazing just the way you are," it makes me smile and appreciate my own beauty.
God also says the same thing in the song—no, more than that. He always reminds us that we are perfect in every aspect of life, no matter what kind of body or face we have, because we're wearing His face. We are His creation, and remember that God's creation is always perfect.
Yes, you have flaws, but those flaws make you more beautiful. That scar makes you more unique and amazing because it means God gave it to you because you look good with it, and that makes you more stunning. That's not an imperfection, because that's called a blessing. And that blessing makes you beautifully perfect.
You are perfect; you were made by God, and you are God's masterpiece. You are always perfect because God made you, and that matters more than your flaws. He loves you more for your flaws. That's why you must love "you," because you are perfect inside and out.
